What do you truly want this holiday season?
In this episode, I share my insights from an online Cathy Heller event from November, where he encouraged us to tune into our most authentic, abundant selves.
This is so important, especially during the busy holiday stretch. As we move through the holidays, let’s ask ourselves what we truly want and intentionally align our thoughts and actions to create a vibrant, authentic life.
Here are my top 3 takeaways::
Get Clear on What You Want: Reflect and ask yourself, “What do I want?” Write it down! Whether it’s joy, peace, or abundance, being conscious of your desires opens you to receiving them.
Tune Your Thoughts Like a Radio: Identify the thoughts you want to keep on repeat to support your vision and energy.
Practice Receiving Abundance Daily: Simple rituals—like journaling, breathwork, nature walks, or prayer can be helpful.

I am cheering for you!
Hey friends, today I'm gonna be sharing some of a conversation I had in my group coaching program that I recorded on November 11th. As you listen you'll be able to tell I was in really good energy because I had just spent some time with one of my coaches, Cathy Heller. She had asked a few questions that got my thoughts connecting to some of the work I do. I got really excited about the idea that I could share with you today. That we get to decide on purpose what we want. I know many of us have lived lives where it felt unkind to want anything more because we already have so much or not safe to want anything because what if it doesn't come through? It's better to want a little and not be disappointed then to dream big. And a lot of my life began to change when I encountered the Life Coach School podcast by Brooke Castillo. And what she said on repeat is she wanted to be an example of what's possible. And I feel like as a spiritual life coach who helps people live, brave, creative, purpose-filled lives. I also wanna be an example of what's possible. I wanna be an example that we can live out what we see in scripture that Jesus said I came, that you might have a life and a life more abundant, filled with joy and peace and patience and kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control. I think we were meant to live lives filled with joy. One of my favorite Christmas hymns is, oh, holy Night. And in it, a line that is very powerful says that the soul felt its worth. Today you are a hundred percent valuable, a hundred percent loved, made on purpose for a purpose. And as we create those power thoughts, and live lives with aligned energy, I think we truly create vibrant lives. And so I hope that this little excerpt of me sharing my thoughts connects with you and gives you some joy and some connection to your aligned energy as we go into the holiday season. And if you're noticing you'd like a community to support you through 2026 people who are also doing the work of thinking thoughts on purpose and feeling their feelings deeply and deciding in advance what small steps you wanna take, I'd love for you to join us. I offer a very affordable group coaching program where you sign up for three months at a time. And so to find out more about it, you can go to kellytibbits.com. I hope you enjoy this episode. Welcome to the Live A Vibrant Life podcast. I'm life coach Kelly Kibbitz, and each week I'll be here to encourage and equip you with the tools you need to grow in self-awareness and invest your best energy in your dreams and your purpose. I believe self-awareness changes everything. Let's get started. What do you want? My first question for you as we go into the holiday season, What do you want? My values that I want to live out now are I want to truly be authentic and abundant. I want to be authentic. I want to say the yeses and nos that are true for me, and I want to live with abundance. Jesus said I came that you might have a life more abundant I describe that as a vibrant life. It's more abundant than I can even hope or believe. So that's why I want to live. with abundance.. What do you want? One thing I've been doing is I take a bath every night just to surround myself with the idea of abundance. I actually live in a place where there's enough water for me to abundantly. take a bath every day. There's enough energy, there's enough joy, there's enough money. When was the last time you asked yourself What do you want? we're going into the holiday season, what do you want? Do you want joy, abundance, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, what do you want? Write it down right now. This holiday season I want to stay aligned as much as possible because I'm living a human experience in that authentic, abundant, aligned energy. Why do you want it? It's very interesting. So many coaches that I've learned from are like, why do you want money? You want the feeling that you think the money will bring you, right? Why do you want a relationship? You want the feeling you think the relationship will bring you. Feelings created from our thoughts so we can have those feelings and thoughts now. Why do you want what you want? If you want peace, why do you want peace? Because you're tired of feeling frustrated all the time. Well, what's creating a frustration, a thought. That you may or may not notice and there's nothing wrong, you just might want to notice it. We have a radio in my house that I don't like. I think it's here to teach me something. It was my husband's dad's antique radio that he spent money to repair. I've decided it's here to teach me something. Every time I see it, it reminds me of this metaphor. All of the sounds that come through our radio, it's all out there, right? We get to tune into that. Every time I see the radio sitting there, I now get a choice to say, am I aligned to the energy that I want to be connecting to? What do you want and why do you want it are your first two questions. Then we want to notice the thoughts that create the feelings, that create the actions that move you Here's some thoughts that I wrote down. I want this authentic, abundant life. What do I want to be thinking? I want to be thinking that the world wants my authenticity. That's a hard thought for me. It's a growing thought because as I was growing up, the thought that was imposed upon me is the world wants me to behave a certain way so that other people don't have big emotional reactions, so that other people think I'm kind and good and nice, right? One of the most startling things that happened to me this year is I was extremely authentic with people that I love, and their reaction was, you used to be nice. Which means you used to lie, so that I would feel better. And now you're saying, no, thank you. And that's all I said was, no thank you. And that was perceived as not nice. So how can I grow a thought of the world wants me to be authentic When somebody literally said that? That's my work to say they get to think and feel and do anything. But I really think it's best for the world when I'm not so nice that I become resentful, overwhelmed, sick, depleted. I really do. That's my work. You might have different work. But let's notice what do you want? Why do you want it? What's a thought you want on repeat? Abundance is my birthright. I really believe that. I believe there's more than enough in this world. I am not competing with anybody. One of the values of my company is I'm collaborative. I think I keep connecting with people, and together we get to do good work. Every time I share something, I try to say, say it in your own words. Tell your own people, right? This is meant to just grow. Next. In this moment, I'm satisfied, grateful, and whole. When you take that breath and you're like, in this moment, yes, I'm warm, I'm fed, I'm not thirsty. I have people who love me. I'm grateful. I'm satisfied, and I'm whole. What thought would you like for today, just for this next hour? I have peace. I am loving how patient I've become. I am thankful. I'm grateful, whatever it is. Think of that radio for a minute. How easy the static overtakes the aligned station, if you don't keep working at this. I'm so thankful and full of joy for this holiday season, but the static moves us over to, I can't wait till this is over, How do we get there? For me, it's a prayer. God, what do you want me to remember? If you close your eyes and you take a moment and you're like, oh my goodness, how did I even get here? I wasn't alone This person came alongside me. I was reminded of this. What do you want me to remember? The second prayer that came to me today that I want to keep on repeat, it's deciding that we do want people in our life, right? We want the high notes and the low notes and all of that. Here's the prayer. May, and you put their person's name in)- May my mother, my boss, my coworker, my cousin. May they be connected to God, to love and their divine assignment. Starting with me. God, may I be connected to you. May I be connected to love. May I be connected to this divine assignment. Don't you think the most abundant, authentic, positive, loving, kind people are connected to God, to love and to their divine assignment? Small, intentional decisions create ripple effects. I was telling my husband this morning, I don't know how I ended up on this email list. Does that ever happen to you? You get emails and you're like, I don't know how you got my name. This person lived next door to somebody who needed some help. And they created this Venmo community and said, if you have five extra dollars, I'm going to give it to Owen once every three months. I'm going to give Owen some money. I'm not going to ask him what he does with it. I'm just going to show up next to Owen and give him consistent money every three months. Something to look forward to. And it grew into this whole organization. 20 years ago, In Massachusetts a woman had twins. Her friend was a social worker and she said, how can I get rid of these double car seats, carriages? They just celebrated 20 years of taking care of people in their community, of being The Wish Project Small, intentional decisions create ripple effects. So that's your question for today. What do you want? What thoughts do you want to keep on repeat. And I hope you find somebody today that you get to have a Facebook conversation with a in-person conversation, a phone call, and you can say to them, Hey, what do you want? I don't really think you want to be saying for the next eight weeks. I can't wait for this to be over. What do you want? How do you remember that? How do you receive If your ability to receive is the size of a thimble, that's all you're going to get. If it's the size of a bathtub, the size of the ocean. We're going to receive that. How do you receive Small practice steps? For some of us it's journaling'cause we know what our thoughts are. For some of us, it's breath work for some of us it's walking in the woods and allowing feelings to be felt and noticed. Take the time today to make your decision. Put it in a way you can see it again, right? Because we're going to forget it.And find a way to share it with somebody. We all have a way to serve the people that are ours to serve. Take this little bite that you took today and share it with somebody else. Thank you for joining the Live A Vibrant Life podcast.
