Show Notes

Historians Call Justinian the Great the last Roman Emperor, while others call him the first Great Byzantine Emperor. No one can deny that Justinian the Great was one of the strongest Roman Emperors of all time. He came the closest to reuniting the entire Roman Empire after the fall of the west in 476 CE. He also commissioned great works that still stand today, specifically the Hagia Sophia.

The History of Modern Greece covers the events of the Greek People from the fall of Constantinople in 1453 to the Greek War of Independence in 1821-1832, all the way through to the Greco-Turkish War from 1919 to 1922.
