With the puzzling disappearance of the Crandall jewels on her mind, Nancy is determined to help her friend regain her inheritance. But unlike other mysteries, this situation seems to have sprouted into an overabundance of clues, any one of which could lead to some sort of resolution. Finally, in an attempt to give her mind a rest from the confusing situation, Nancy goes shopping, and finds yet another strange piece that may or may not fit into the mysterious events at Lilac Inn.
