After a massive struggle Nehemiah manages to get the walls of Jerusalem rebuilt and they have a huge celebration. Then we come to the end of the book and things take a really troubling turn. where everything goes disastrously wrong and we are left hanging. Why is this book in the Bible? What does it add to the overarching narrative and why should we even bother reading it?
