When I was 49 I had a moment. Here I was a professional success in the high-stakes world of real estate. I had navigated the ups and downs of building a thriving business. I had killed it and yet, I remember feeling…
Empty. Frustrated. Stuck on the treadmill of life.
I remember thinking, what if I climbed and climbed this ladder only to find it's leaning against the wrong wall?
I felt a deep sense of calling to make a positive impact in the world but was unsure of where to start.
I have seen the faithfulness of God in every season. Through my own experience of feeling unfulfilled and called to a bigger purpose, I discovered the transformative power of mindset, purpose, and faith. This revelation changed my approach to life and success, leading me to start this podcast. Now, I want to share the insights, stories, and guidance I've gathered with you.

Feeling stuck despite your success? Are you looking for guidance and inspiration that speaks directly to your quest for a more purpose-driven and faith-built life? Hi, I'm Amy Wienans, wife, mom of twins, and CEO. Welcome to You Are More, your weekly infusion of inspiration, revelation, and encouragement to step into the life you are meant to live. Amidst professional triumphs in the high-stake real estate world, I faced my moment of truth. Success felt empty. That's when I realized success without purpose is like running on a treadmill, exhausting and going nowhere. Determined to find more, I embarked on a journey that revealed the true power of mindset, purpose, and faith. If you're ready to stop chasing success and ready to build a life that wins, it's time to buckle up because we're gonna dive deep into purpose, enrich your life with faith, and you're gonna walk in a life you are called to walk into. Because always remember this you are more. Hey everyone, welcome to my podcast. I'm excited to have you. And guys, I want to talk to you about something. I would love to invite you to be part of my 6 a.m. I call it the 6 a.m. Club. It's my every Thursday morning Zoom Bible study. It's from 6 to 6:30 Central Standard Time. I've got links to it in my socials. I've got links to it on my youarmore.com. Every Wednesday night we post it on my stories with the link. I would love to have you join me. It's a it's a power punch pack that just literally to build your faith and build our faith community. So anyway, I'd love to see you there. Guys, I want to ask you a question. Whose report will you believe? My dear friend Ruseanne Polston used to say, Amy, whose report will you believe? Will you believe the report of the Lord? Or who are you gonna believe? Because whatever report you believe is how you're gonna act. And that you're the the consequences of your life are gonna follow the report that you believe. Huh? What does that mean to me, Amy? Does that mean I deny reality? Does that mean that the facts aren't the facts and I just go against that? No, but here's the truth. The truth is that the word of God is the truth, and everything else that is opposite of it, when you apply the word of God to it, it has to start to shift things. Whose report will you believe? Your life could tell your life, your family, your friends, they could tell you like you're not going to amount to anything. This is how it's always been for you. This is just how it is for our family. This is just what we do. Nothing ever goes the right way for us. We expect this. Like those are like generational mindsets and thoughts, right? That can follow you. And they can follow you with the energy of those thoughts. They, that, that we that you're so used to failure, you're so used to to setback, you're so used to everything being hard. Like when you get used to all those things, those things, those thoughts flow through you and they're guiding and directing your activity. They're guiding and directing what you do, how you speak, and how you show up. So whose report will you believe? Do you know that that your work on yourself, the transformation of your inner man is the most critical work you can do on the earth. It is the one that yields the most value. And you say, Amy, is it aren't we supposed to have a life that's about others? The greatest thing that you can do is to work on your person. The interior of who you are is always being reflected back to you. What your life looks like on the outside is a reflection of what you have going on in the interior. How you show up every day, how you think, how you speak, the opportunities that you see. So the greatest battle in life is this. Whoever controls your most valuable real estate, your mind, right? This brain, this this atmosphere, this six inches between your ears. Whoever controls that, the truth or a lie, controls your life. It's scary. It's really scary because how you see things dictates if you'll go far or if you won't. You know, I can train people to be great in real estate. And we have. I've trained some really great people, and I've I've been I've witnessed some amazing human beings that, you know, really dug in and transformed their life and have done epic things in real estate. And I say this to you I can we can oh we can train skill, but what we can't do, we can't train expectation. We can't train mindset. Mindset meaning this. Do you expect to win? Do you expect to have good success? Do you expect that that God goes before you and opens doors for you and that you're favored and that you're the head and not the tail and you're above and not beneath? Like, do you expect those things? Or is it that you are like, boy, huh? I wonder if I'll ever have another sale again. Guys, do you see how what you put out is always literally, subtly creating your actions? You know, it's your daily habits that determine your future. And if I were to follow you along, your daily habits, your daily routines, my question to you is what would I find? Would your future desires be well known in your daily activities? Would I see the evidence of a life that's committed to seeing the purposes come forth, to seeing breakthrough come forth, to seeing success come forth, to seeing health come forth, to valuing family? Would I find that if I if I was the observer of your life in your daily life? Your consistent habitual patterns are shaping your destiny and your future. So it doesn't, it might not seem, it may seem super insignificant that you hit the snooze and you decide not to get up and work today. It may seem very insignificant that you just lied that lie. It was just that one thing. It might seem insignificant that you decided, uh, I'm a slack today. I'm not gonna make the phone calls. It might seem insignificant, uh, I'm just gonna eat the pizza today and the ice cream and the Big Mac and the, you know, all the things. It might seem insignificant, right? But that insignificant, it starts to wear you down. You start to get dull. And then you're like, well, the next day, yeah, I mean, it's no big deal. I'll skip my workout today and I won't pour much into my family today, and I'll just do what I do need to do to get by today. Guys, all those things are indicative of a level of thought that we have. If you want to show up as your best self in this life, and what do I mean by best self? I mean if you want to walk in all that you're called to walk in on this earth, you're gonna have to discipline this great real estate that you have possession of. How do you think? How do you speak? This is what I can tell you. Maybe you say, Amy, you don't know what I've been through. I've lost a lot, I've had, I've I've experienced a lot of difficulty. I'm walking through hell right now. I don't know what to do. My relationships aren't doing well. Here's the thing if that's where you're at in this life, because it rains on the just and the unjust, life happens to everybody. But if that's where you're at, I want to give you a couple a couple scriptures to take hold of. You know, the Bible says, Job, Job was a great man, he was a wealthy, wealthy man, he had a beautiful family, and literally everything was taken from him. Everything. But the Bible says that when Job prayed for his friends, that he was restored double. That double was brought back to his life as he prayed for his friends, meaning that he could have sat down on the curb. And I'm sure he did have meltdowns, and I'm sure he did have times where he thought, Whoa is me. And he may have thought, God, what did I do? But he turned it and he said, I'm gonna pray for my friends, I'm gonna pray for their situation. And God literally restored to Job double. So if you're walking through a Job experience where it feels like you've suffered loss, you've suffered, you suffered defeat, life has handed you difficulty. If you position yourself like this, that God, you're perfecting that which concerns me. God, you're turning that which was meant for my evil, for my good, to save much people alive. God, I thank you that you're restoring double to me. If you can let those words come out of your mouth, even when you're walking through delay, denial, setback, I promise you, something is being built in your life that will carry a weight that will impact many. You know that your trial, your tribulation, your struggle, your difficulty, and your overcoming of those things is for a greater good. You never win the battle just for yourself, but it's so critical you win the battle because you actually win it for more people, to be more impactful, to have more influence, right? So while we don't wish difficulty upon ourselves, while we don't enjoy that, we don't enjoy those parts of life. The reality is as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, right? That God prepares a table before us in the midst of things. That that the Bible says that he anoints our head with oil. He he brings provision, he prepares a table, like he, here's your supply, here's your provision. You might be sitting in the middle of yuck, there's provision coming. If you don't quit and if you know where your source is, look up. Every day I walk out of my real estate office and I look up and I think, God, thank you. You're my helper. I look up, you're my source. Oh, I look up, thank you. Thank you for a supernatural download today. Thank you that you lead me and guide me in wisdom. Thank you that I'm the head and not the tail. I'm above and not beneath. That's what the Bible says. So whose rapport will you believe? Will you believe your circumstances or will you believe the word? If you believe your circumstances, you're gonna lose. I hate to say it, guys. If you believe your circumstances, if you believe that that, well, it's just how it is, it's not changeable, you'll sit there and you'll stay there your whole life. And that's not fun. And that's not fulfillment, and that's not a life that wins. I'm telling you, he came to give you a life that wins, a life that impacts, a life that has meaning, a life that has significance. And you're created for a specific purpose. You're created to bring something to this earth that if you don't fulfill it, the world will lose. They'll be at a loss because of it. I know so many that are so called and so impactful. They've suffered greatly. But it here's what I've found. They don't quit. They don't quit. When they don't quit, every storm eventually runs out of rain. So I say to you today, don't quit. Whose report will you believe? I'm gonna re believe the report of the Lord. His report is victory, his report is overcoming, his report is well labeled, his report is all things are changeable. That's his report. Or you can just look at circumstances and look at that and look at failure, defeat, delay, denial. I'm telling you, what you see and what report you believe, believing deep down. Again, not denying circumstances, not denying facts, but choosing to believe that all things are changeable, that God, it might look this way, but I know you're working for my good. I know you're behind the scenes working all things together for me. All things together for my good. So I just want you to think about when you're going through life, when you're going through your day, do your checkup from the neck up kind of a thing. When those thoughts come, measure them against truth. Does this line up with truth? Does this line up with the word of God, the truth and the promises that he has for me? That thought. If it doesn't, it's your job to tell it to take a hike. It's your job to tell it to take a back seat. But you don't just tell it to take a back seat without replacing it with something. Then you speak the word. So if I'm having a negative thought, it just keeps hitting my mind, hitting my mind, hitting my mind. Maybe it's trying to make me feel so small, so insignificant, so not. I'll be like, oh no. Thank you, God. You've got me. Thank you, God, we're partners. Thank you, God. You have purpose and destiny in my life. Thank you, God, that you're working all things for my good. Thank you, God, that I'm called by you. I'm anointed. I'm I'm set apart. You've got me. I'm favored. I'm the head and not the tail. Like, thank you, God. I'm well able. I can do all things for you, who strengthens me. Oh, thank you, God. I have all wisdom. Oh, I thank you that my steps are ordered. I thank you that I that I hear your word in my ear saying this is the way. Walk ye in it. Like all the things. Or I can just sit and I can listen to the other report. The other report that brings despair, despondency, defeat, and failure. So I'm so reminded of even with Joshua and Caleb, how they went in. They were set, they sent 10 spies in. Okay. Two people came back with a good report. The others came back saying we're as grasshoppers in their sight. They're huge, they're massive. We can't overcome them. Joshua and Caleb, I always call them the can-do Caleb, the can-do Caleb attitude, came back, looked at it, saw the exact same things, but came in and said, You can't believe the opportunities. You should see the size of the fruit. You should see the opportunities that are there. We are well able. Let's go and possess. Guys, I want you to get deep down in you. The spirit of the living God in you makes you well able to go and possess. You're well able. So I release into you, well able. And here's the thing, guys. If the starting point is this if you don't know where you're going to spend eternity, let's let's get that settled. All right. Your most important relationship on this earth is with Jesus, right? The Holy Spirit, Jesus, God. Like that is your most important relationship. And where you spend eternity, that can, that is that we can, let's, let's get that taken care of today. Because life's short, you never know what's going to happen. So I just felt led to just, let's, let's just pray quick. If you've never accepted Jesus in your heart, if you were to leave this earth today, would you go to heaven? And if you don't have 100% surety that, yeah, I know that I know that I know I'm going to heaven, pray this prayer with me. Father, I thank you today that I call you my Lord and Savior. Come into my life, transform my heart, change me. I repent for all of my lack. I repent for all of my ways. God, I ask you to be my Lord and Savior in Jesus' name. And I accept you as that today. Guys, if you did so much as say that, you're in. You you've changed, you've changed the whole entire directive of your life. Lord, I ask you to be my Lord and Savior. Come into my heart. Come into my life. I give you access to all of it. I'm telling you, if you did that today, you changed the trajectory of your life. The Holy Spirit will begin to speak to you. If you did that and you've never done that, go find a good Bible believing church. Get in the Word, get connected, join my 6 a.m. club. Because here's what I know. I'm in the real estate business. I love the real estate business, but I'm in the people business. And as much as I can sit here and tell you to think the right thoughts and to act your faith out and to to program you for victory, without that relationship with God on the inside of you, nothing matters. It doesn't matter. So Christ in you, Christ in you, the hope of glory, Christ in you changes all things. Guys, I hope you don't feel like I zigzagged all over the place, but I was just really like impressed. Like, hey, ask someone if they need to accept Jesus. Pray for them, right? And do do this. If you're just accepted Jesus, start to read through the Bible. Start to read through, you know, the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Start to read through so you know the things that Jesus did on this earth. Because the Bible says, as he is, so am I in this earth. The things that he did, so can I do, right? So believe, decide which report you're gonna believe. Lock into your faith. I'm gonna believe the report of the Lord. His report is victory. His report is is good things, his report, right? So I'm cheering you on today. Know this. You're on this earth with great purpose. You're on this earth for great purpose. You carry great destiny. If you're walking through something, keep walking. If you feel like quitting, just keep putting one foot in front of the other. But look up. Look up, right? Look up. Where'd your help come from? Look up. So I'm cheering you on. And as always, you truly are more. Be blessed. Hey there. I hope you found today's episode of You Are More as uplifting and insightful as I intended it to be.
