The Financially Free Woman Podcast
Welcome to The Financially Free Woman Podcast - where Singapore working moms navigate the messy, exciting journey of growing profitable side businesses.
I'm Sharon, and I'm figuring this out alongside you. As a working mom in Singapore building my own side business, I know the unique challenges we face—expensive everything, demanding work culture, and the constant juggle of wanting more time with our kids while maintaining the financial security we desperately need here.
I recently signed my first client, but I'm still very much in the growth phase—making mistakes, facing uncomfortable firsts, and discovering what works through pure trial and error.
In each episode, we dive into the real journey:
MINDSET: Pushing through the fears and doubts that come with growth - because building something new is scary, especially when you have kids depending on you
ENERGY: Using tools like Human Design and MAP to work with your natural rhythms instead of burning out in Singapore's intense pace
STRATEGY: Trial-and-error approaches because what works for others might not work for you - and that's okay
This isn't about overnight success stories or perfect strategies. It's about the real, messy middle of building something meaningful while raising kids in one of the world's most expensive cities.
I share the uncomfortable truths, the small wins, and everything I'm learning as someone just one step ahead—not because I have it all figured out, but because we shouldn't have to do this alone.
If you're a Singapore working mom ready to explore growing your own side business without the isolation and overwhelm, this podcast is for you.

150: How to carve out time for your side projects
Designing a career you love includes getting clear about what you like doing.
You find out what you love doing and if it works by actually doing them.
But how do you find time in your busy schedule for these side projects?
I'm a full-time breadwinning mom and primary caregiver to our 2 kids.
I also have my own dreams and goals I'm working on every day.
This means I've got to be creative about optimizing my time and energy.
Listen to this week's episode where I share how I maintain a daily writing practice.
This daily practice is how I consistently post on LinkedIn, record a podcast like this and send a weekly newsletter.
