Negative Core Beliefs and Self-Esteem
Show Notes

No matter who you are or how you feel about yourself, there is always room for improvement when it comes to self-esteem, self-worth and self-value.

When you believe that you are worthy and valuable just as you are - that you don't have to say the right things to do the right things or be the right things to prove your worth - everything changes, especially your relationships!

Dr. Christina Hibbert explains:  “Self-esteem is what we think and feel and believe about ourselves. Self-worth is recognizing ‘I am greater than all of those things.’ It is a deep knowing that I am of value, that I am loveable, necessary to this life, and of incomprehensible worth.”

So why don’t we all just feel that way automatically?

One of the biggest blocks to self-esteem is "Negative Core Beliefs."  These are the the negative thinking patterns we all have about yourselves, other people and the world.  They come from society, our parents, things that have happened to us and our own brains.  And until we become aware of them, they sabotage us every step of the way.

In this podcast, I teach you about negative core beliefs and help you identify some of yours.  I also help you see the ways you are relying on external circumstances (or people) for your self-esteem and how that is working against you.  Finally, I give you tips you can start putting into practice now in order to change your negative self-talk and improve your self-esteem.
