Melanie Barr is CEO of She Built it®, an online and in-person global community of women who share business knowledge, resources, and empower each other to excel in business and to be the best versions of themselves. Melanie is the Host and Producer of the She Built it® Podcast, Community and Course Creator, Speaker, Twin Mom, and Wife. Through the She Built It® podcast she has interviewed hundreds of women around the world who are experts in their field of influence - CEO's, Leaders in the public and private sector, Professional Athletes, and Olympians.
Melanie launched She Built It® following a corporate career in leadership and business development securing millions of dollars in products and services for Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurs - Marriott Hotels, AT&T, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and as Vice President, Millennium Corporate Solutions, to name a few. She's held board seats - both local and national - and assisted organizations with female-focused missions such as Step Up and Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) an organization at the Los Angeles Dodgers.
She is a graduate of Leadership Los Angeles and Annenberg Alchemy, a finalist for Los Angeles Business Journal Women Making a Difference Awards, and has served on the Executive Leadership Committee for LA Go Red for Women American Heart Association. She received an award from the City of Los Angeles for exemplary leadership and volunteerism. She is grateful for her twins, family, friends, and the She Built It® community. Melanie earned a BA in Business and Marketing from Loyola Marymount University.
