Season 6, Podcast 83, Isaiah 29:11-24, “Out of the Dust Pt. II.”

In this podcast we continue with Isaiah 29.

 Isaiah 29:11-12

And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed: And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

The book that is referred to contains all the records spoken of in verse 4 of Isaiah 29.

And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.

That refers to the records kept by the scattered children of Israel known as Ephraim. Those records can only be translated by the power of God and not by worldly wisdom. When Christ comes again, we shall have all the records of God’s Holy Prophets. As Isaiah said, speaking of the Millennium, “The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord.

Truth must triumph over tradition. The Lord warns.

 Isaiah 29:13

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

It is sometimes difficult to separate the word of God from the precepts of men. Can you imagine Isaiah being persuaded by the precept of men. He stood alone, even against kings. Tradition has it that he died for his convictions.

The Lord, through the prophet Isaiah, offers this great promise.

 Isaiah 29:14

Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

Before the Second Coming of Christ, there will be a renaissance. The heavens will once again open. Angels will once again come to earth carrying his message. We must be open to it.

 Isaiah 29:15-16

Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter’s clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

In the last days the scales of darkness will be lifted, and we are going to see a restoration of the gospel like we have not seen since Christ himself was on the earth. Joel saw our day.

Joel 2:27-32

And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.
