Mommy Couch Confessions
There's nothing more soothing than comfy clothes and great conversation with your people on a comfy couch, not even the reality of the world can change that. Mommy Couch Confessions is where we millennial women come together just as we are to have honest conversations about all things womanhood and life.
Mommy Couch Confessions
Season 2:Episode #8-Things I Wish Someone Had Told Me
The journey of motherhood begins with so much advice about gestation, labor and delivery and once they no longer need to be swaddled or diapered the helpful suggestions taper off. What happens when children ask where babies come from? How do have the conversation surrounding racism with your children? Or how to approach faith in a way that children can understand and feel empowered to explore on their own? Those and a few others are questions tackled in the episode with my friend and fellow military spouse and homeschooling mama, Keyosha Atwater. With a plethora of experience that range from multiple military moves, childhood experiences and four beautiful babies, the insights we gleaned from the conversation were enough to be reminded that in the end, we are all doing the best we can and when the helpline seems quiet, there's always a Main Line open that we can connect with to lead us on the journey!
