Episode 3 - Career Specializations
Show Notes

For this week's episode of AFM Ready, we are joined by Blake Phillips, Deputy Director of the School of Accounting and Finance, to discuss career specializations!

As an AFM student, you'll have a total of 13 electives throughout your 4 years of the undergraduate program. Most of these electives are available in Years 3 and 4, after you've built a foundation in accounting, finance, and business and explored 2 co-op work terms. Your in and out of classroom experiences in Years 1 and 2 will guide you in customizing your 3rd and 4th years to create your own unique career pathway.

With your 13 electives as an AFM student, you'll choose one (or more) Career Interest Specializations and work toward certificates, a minor, or take general interest courses.
