Trauma for Breakfast
Trauma For Breakfast is a crowded table of wounded children, parents, spouses, caregivers and weary souls. Together we join in honest conversations about the behaviors and challenges of parenting children with trauma. There's always room for one more at the table to share in the stories, science and healing as we learn to better understand and care for each other. We are a table without shame or judgement because life can be hard and lonely and we all know, that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

This episode is a must-listen.
Join me as I talk to Doug Dolan, COO of Recovery in the Pines.
Doug began his own recovery walk on April 19, 1997. He has experienced many life-defining moments, including the passing of his brother, Andy, to an overdose, the loss of his close, childhood friend, Craig, to a suicide, to extreme financial highs and lows, almost losing his wife, Donna, to significant health issues, and significant marital strains.
He intimately understands the personal despair, hopelessness and destruction experienced by active alcoholics and addicts and their loved ones.
