She considered leaving to play basketball in Calgary or Kamloops, but ultimately decided against it when she was recruited by UBCO. Discussion of the many obvious and subtle ways Kelowna has changed over the last 3 decades. Kelowna is now a magnet for young people and people wanting to make changes in their lives. Worked at Lulu Lemon Kelowna while she was attending university. She started to teach fitness classes as part of her practicum.
