Israel has declared war on Hamas, the militant group responsible for sending thousands of rockets onto Israeli soil over the weekend. Meanwhile Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to "turn them into rubble." But military decimation at the hands of Israel could come at a cost, namely Israel's standing in the world and therefore its own long-term peace and security.
