These Days is a podcast about exactly that. And these days we’re in need of something different. We’re in need of a space in which to challenge ideas, to have an honest exchange and the connection that comes from that. There's an adage that "everything is political." This is not true: Even the political is in fact personal, reflecting and saying much about one's own psychology. Once a person comes to understand, and to accept, their own thoughts and feelings (even the so-called crazy ones) everything changes. An acceptance of self after all facilitates an acceptance of others. So preventing political violence isn't about changing laws or politics as much as it is about changing ourselves.
