Lincoln changed the World.
“Within three months of Lincoln's election, seven states had seceded from the Union.
Just as Springfield, Illinois celebrated the election of its favorite son to the Presidency on November 7, so did Charleston, South Carolina, which did not cast a single vote for him. It knew that the election meant the “formation of a New Nation.”
On April 9; Confederate General Robert E. Lee and his famed Army of Northern Virginia surrendered to Union General Ulysses S. Grant.
Despite an order for a new phase of war shifting to guerrilla tactics, many troops followed Lee and also surrendered.
The Civil War officially ended on May 13, 1865, and the Confederate States of America ceased to exist.
January 1, 1863- The Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
April 9, 1865- The official end of the Civil war and the end of Slavery of Africans for the World.
Lynchings, injustice, enslavement Rise, fall, Teach, Learn, Love, hate, discriminate, ,educate, infiltrate, God’s Will;
Critical Race Theory?
All Races are Critical,
the Oppression affects us all.
January 15, 1929- Dr. King was born. His final hope was for Genuine equality and Righteousness for all. The Civil Rights Movement never stopped, it was paused so a Rose
could GROW.
“He's going to pick that rose
And watch her as she grows
In his garden”
One year before Dr King was killed, I was born. For 1 year I was able to follow him through my Mother and Grandmother.
