EP 48 - 'Borrowed Time' with B.j. Simmerman
Show Notes

A crazy past few weeks and a shattered computer screen later, we are here for a #TuesdayTalkwithLB and I got to sit down with cotton farmer B.j. Simmerman from Crowder, MS. And boy did we talk - B.j started us off by telling stories about growing up in the delta of Mississippi, and running a fourth generation family farm. B.j. told me about working for his father, and we talked about how thankful we are to be able to learn from them. We talked about both being Mississippi State Graduates, and how awesome it was to be able to hunt and fish then go to class. We talked about tight knit relationships, and making good first impressions. B.j. told me about getting into duck hunting, and what life was like when he started guiding duck hunts. We talked about the different 'hats' you have to wear as a hunting guide, and everything some people don't realize that goes on behind the scenes. We touched on fresh water fishing vs salt water fishing. B.j. told me about crappie fishing on the Big 4, and how incredible lucky we are to be surrounded by those lakes. We talked about watching the weather during hunting season.  We talked about learning and growing as adults, and of course we wrapped up with some advice!
