This episode I got to chit chat with the queen herself, Maggie Williams. Maggie and I met on the Mossy Oak Golf Course this past September, and we hit it off. We jumped on a phone call, and I got to ask all the questions about who she is and where she comes from. Maggie told me about growing up with two wonderful parents and an older sister, and she told me many stories about her friendship with her father.
We talked about hunting with our dads, and everything they have taught us in the outdoors and in life in general. She told me stories about competing in pageants and winning Miss Teen Arkansas USA. We talked about her platform of getting more girls in the outdoors, and the opportunities that led to. We talked about all the doors that have opened for Maggie, and how having a social media presence has impacted her life. She told me the highs and lows of everything that comes with social media, and boy, does she gives some good advice on it. We also talked about turkeys and the adrenaline rush we feel while hunting them. And of course, we wrapped up with some advice!
