Matias (Matt) Reezy is an Argentinian artist, musician, songwriter and the co-founder of MiSHNRZ, a Spanish retro synthwave group born in Los Angeles, CA. In this episode of the Nate Biltz Podcast, Matt shares his highlights and the downfalls on his quest for the American Dream. From living paycheck to paycheck and working sketchy jobs, to forming his first band, Los 5, and making a living pursuing his art form.

In addition, we dive into the delicate balance of doing covers and producing original songs as a steppingstone into the music scene. Matt shares his gorilla marketing strategy and the organic growth his band received from playing music live in front of large crowds and having a team of people pass out flyers. Matt also, talks about his thought process of writing songs for other artists, highlighting the importance of having an open mind and viewing life from the lens of other human beings.
