Welcome to Align and Prosper, the podcast for women ready to remember who the fuck their soul came here to really be. I'm your host, Elise Danielle, multi-dimensional mentor and soul-led entrepreneur. After over a decade in the coaching, healing, and business space, and walking through my own unraveling and reawakening, I've learned that the real work goes way beyond the surface and the strategy. This is the place we go beyond mindset to rewire your entire system for alignment, truth, and the kind of abundance that flows from within. This is the work you're ready for now. Let's drop in. Hi, I am so excited to dive into part two of a little bit of a 2025, slightly unhinged, very personal update, and why I'm really moving into 2026 in a different way than I ever have before. A little bit of a longer break than intended. I put myself through my own little protocol, ritual intention where I really wanted to support my body to release so much of so much of what I've moved through in 2025. But I wanted to do that on a physical, a multidimensional way, really. So physically, emotionally, um, energetically, spiritually, and you know, with a background in holistic health, and that's just something I've been diving into so much more is just, you know, how powerful we are, how incredibly well our own bodies can respond to our own intention. And I feel like I've really increased my, I don't even know if it's it's probably a combination of awareness, ability to influence my body on a deeper level, along with a lot of the physical things I do. So, all of that to say, I took myself through a little bit of a cleanse protocol and it kicked my ass. My intention was much more powerful than I intended, but I'm feeling so much better now. It just took me out for a good week. Um I took myself on a little colonic and coffee enema journey, if we will, and it was wild in in lots of different ways. I will probably share a little bit more on that in the next episode because it's um so interesting to me. The more I experiment, I've always experimented with myself, um, on how much our bodies listen, which we know not only to the thoughts we put in, but the intentions we set and the energetic intentionality that we hold around that is so powerful. So I'll I'll share a little bit more about that, but I want to dive in straight away so we can get to the goods of what I started to share last week. So if you missed part one, you can still listen to this. You can go back. I only delved into some of the guiding lights I'm carrying into this year. And funny, the the one I introduced last week was continuing a deep devotion and commitment to my multidimensional vessel. And interestingly, you can see that is what we've been doing, and she's working better than we thought she would. So uh let's dive straight into number two. So really continuing to prioritize my relationships and kind of deepen the joy within those. So it's been such an interesting year for me. You know, I have had to close a lot of loops on a lot of relationships that no longer serve me. And, you know, that uh that truly didn't feel safe, not in like a uh how do I want to put this? Not in a way where something extreme or bad, or or you know, I definitely did distance myself with my mom. We talked about that a little bit more. I won't dive too deeply into that now. Um, but not in like this dramatic way, I think is what I'm trying to say, but in subtle ways where I have started to notice more and more and more who is not right for me. You know, the relationships that don't hold space for who I am and who I'm being, and that aren't really supporting me in the human I'm becoming. So it's interesting because that was so true in gosh, I mean, I feel like that's been true for a lot of years. There's been so many seasons of shedding over the last, gosh, 10, 15 years. Um, and I think I always made myself really wrong for that. I was talking about this with a friend the other day, where I made myself wrong for that. But really, how could they not? Like, I am just not the same person I was in high school. I've I've I admired the people that have the same friendships that they do in high school. I I have one friend that um we are still really close, and that's just kind of lucky. And we've kind of gone in different directions and we've come back around. Um, and there's been friends that I've, you know, like another one friend I had from my early 20s that we've also kind of like weaved and come back around. I find it so fascinating when people really hold close to the same circle. That's just not been my life experience, because I'm just such a different person in in every possible way. And so, you know, through diving into so many, I think because I've just always been the kind of person who's chosen very different life choices to most, you know, I did a lot of travel in my 20s. And instead of just diving headfirst into career, I mean, once I started to establish myself and finish school, I moved across the world and kind of had to start all over again because of work restrictions and visa stuff and living in a new country and literally not knowing anyone or anything. And, you know, so many people and our choice to, you know, not even have children. And all of the life choices I've made have probably distanced me in so many ways from a lot of people. And I'm so grateful I've done them because they've all been so true with my own unique path and what's always felt right for me. And that's definitely been hard at times because it's hard when you're the one who chooses very differently. It's very hard. Not only people's judgments and projections, but it's so easy to let social narratives and the norms and all of that make you kind of gaslight yourself a little bit. So, anywho, I digress. There's been so many sheddings over so many seasons of my life, and this has been such a year where I've really felt so held from the support systems I have, you know, so many um, so many aspects of that where I've had to go through so much relational healing. And that has led to me deepening my friendships in such a profound way that I didn't even actually really understand and know was possible before moving into the last year. And it's it's amazing. It's so cool to have girlfriends who I could call up out of the blue at 2 a.m. and tell them I need to bury a body, and they would literally be there in in two seconds, and they would, you know, ask no questions and or you know, I would tell them and they would be on my side no matter what. And not just that, not just blind, not just blind um loyalty, that's not even it. It's such a deeper soul connection. And if it is so, oh, it's just been everything. It's been, you know, everything to have people when so much has felt unshaky. When so much of my family, my my birth family has felt so unshaky to have people that are truly also like family, you know, more so. And it's just cool to have spaces where I know I won't be judged. They can hold space for any emotion I feel. And that has just been so deeply healing as someone who grew up in a very unsafe, tumultuous environment. And so deeply healing and such a cherished aspect of my life to have friends that are really, really soul family. And it's been really cool too, because it's really deepened my relationship with my husband, Chris, in such an a profound way, you know, being able to be so present and open up more vulnerably and you know, release so much of my identity that was really built in the safety of being a very independent, high-achieving, successful entrepreneur, stepping away from that and not needing that to be a part of me. And seeing what's underneath that has done wonders for my marriage. And I'm not really sure how I feel about that yet. Um will stay tuned. And yeah, it's just it's been so interesting how it's really challenged me in all of the relationships to be more vulnerable, to be more reliant on other people, for to trust them to hold space for me, to open up on things that, you know, I honestly, if someone had told me the things that I have experienced and and navigated this last year, someone told me this shit a couple of years ago, I probably would have looked at them and thought they were actually crazy. So to have people in my world who not only don't think I'm crazy, they really get it. They really see me, they understand what I've been going through on a spiritual level, on a healing level, on a just whatever life level too, has been oh, just so heart expanding. And it's been challenging at the same time. So it's been really cool to, you know, do a lot of navigating through attachment patterns and um seeing how much of my friends and also my husband has really rose to the occasion for that. And it's really cool how much, how, how, how rich I am in that aspect of my life. And it's been an even greater gift to kind of see the gold that I was sitting on without acknowledging it for so long. And I'm so grateful I'm no longer overlooking that and and really choosing to kind of pour into that with the same level of reverence I have for other areas of my life. So that's been so deeply nourishing, healing. I also think it's such a sign of where so many of us are moving with this new earth consciousness coming through. It we're learning, I think we're all learning this on different levels, of how we need each other. It's about interdependence in a really healthy way. It's it's, and that's not something our society, our world has really taught most of us. So it's been really beautiful to see that unfold. And I am really excited to continue to nurture that. It's cool because there's ways that's already carrying me into the future, not just with friendships, but there's been so many cool things unfolding I will probably share soon from more of a collaborative business approach, too. So I will share more on that soon. Number three is really cultivating more creativity. So I received a very clear message early into 2025 of last year. And the message was right. That was it. I just heard the words right. I heard it multiple times in the shower. I heard it, you know, in meditation, I would hear it in breath work, I would hear it during some um microdosing intention setting and some ceremonies I did. And of course, you know, like most people, I did what most of us do when we hear divine messages from universe spirit god. I pretended it wasn't a direct message from universe, spirit, god, and I proceeded to ignore it. And luckily, my messenger is just as stubborn as me. Thank God. I mean, you'd have to be to get through to me. And so she was very persistent and eventually caught my attention after finding so many different sources to relay the message to me, which is really cool and has been such a such a gift in this, you know, path of surrender that I've really been walking, is it's wild to me how much better things continue to work when I don't try to control. And I mean that in every I don't just mean like not overstepping on, you know, directing team. I mean like listening to those nudges when you're like, oh, I need to get this podcast done, or I have to get this done, or I gotta put a post. And when everything in your body does not want to do that, you actually listen. Because every time I listen, even when it doesn't make sense, even when it's not strategic, even when it feels all it always feels like so uncomfortable in my system, something always better comes through. And yes, also I've started hearing, feeling, and like knowing messages from source. That's that's a thing, which is interesting, and I may share more on that soon. Um, but it's been interesting because it's really brought me back to the fact that I am a writer. It's just been something I have always done. It's been, you know, the thing that I loved the most about university. It's probably why I pursued philosophy and it would always just be my grounding practice to journal, to write. And I just had like, I don't know if the word is forgotten, but like I guess forgotten. Stopped, I think I stopped using that so much when so much of my job became so much writing, too, you know, when I was so busy writing so much copy and doing so many things, it just kind of didn't feel I'd kind of forgotten about it. It's not even that it didn't feel good, it's that it just completely fell off my radar. And so as someone who has always, you know, used that as a way to make sense of all of the voices in my head, of all of the noise, and just really return to myself. It's been such a beautiful journey to be back into that. So about six, eight months ago, I I don't know what day I'm on on my streak. I've shared this a little bit on social media, but not a ton. I love 750 words. It is this cute little website where you sign up and it has like cute little, it like gamifies keeping up a streak, kind of like Duolingo, Duolingo, but with writing. And I've been writing daily for oh my gosh, like eight months. And that's been awesome. It's been such a process and such a cool way for me to also discover how I really get to connect with my higher self. It's through writing. It's so cool. And I've had this experience before, you know, there'd be so many times where I would be writing content and it would just come through me. And I feel like I've been refining that practice and remembering what that practice actually is. And when I say remembering what that practice is, I mean it's not me. And that's this has just been such an epiphany on my own creativity journey, is when I take the pressure off of everything needing to come from me and my brain, and you know, thinking that like I'm the ultimate. I need to be the all-knowing source that comes up with ideas and content and the smart right things to say. When I drop all of that shit, that's when good stuff comes through. And it isn't me. I don't think it's me. I think things are planted on us. I think ideas pop up. This reminds me so much of Elizabeth Gilbert. If you haven't read um Big Magic, one of my favorite books of all time. She kind of describes creativity and ideas and books as something that drops in. So does Rick Rubin. So do like a lot of people who are amazing, amazing creatives, artists, writers, all of the things really describe it like this. And I've been able to, I guess, open that door more and step into more of that and be more open for that to drop in. And that is life-changing. That is nothing short of life-changing. And it's so funny because again, when I look back when content flows easily, when things end up converting really well, when I had an idea about a sales page or a program, it wasn't the good ones, the ones that were really right for me, were they came through. It wasn't me thinking, what's a smart pathway? And how do I be strategic? And what's what's something that's gonna sell? That never fucking works. You can do it, you can push real hard, you can work and sometimes make that work, but you're gonna work 10 times harder. And it is so much less fun, let me tell you. So it's been so beautiful to come back to the art of creativity and being in flow and allowing things to come through me and coming back to writing. And it's why I've recently started my Substack back up. So I have a feeling I won't be as active on the main social media channels moving forward. I'm craving depth. I'm craving real conversations, bored with the, you know, attention grabby two-second content. I want to have real conversations with you guys. I want to go deep. I want to create more depth. And so that's that's a little hint of what's coming. So that is something I'm actively going to be nurturing, practicing, leaning into. And it's just delightful. So I have known for a little while that there is a book that I'm meant to write that also kept coming through, and I wanted to ignore it because my logical brain has been resisting it in every imaginable way. But it's it's calling me to do it from a very uncomfortable place, which means it's not gonna be some strategic book. It's not gonna be something that is like a lead magnet. It's going to probably be a bit of a memoir. And I don't know exactly what that's gonna look like. I can't create an outline. I know it's meant to unfold from me just kind of downloading it. And as someone who is uncomfortable not operating from that place, I think that's the point, unfortunately. So stay tuned for that. Um, I'm creating a lot more space for that to drop in and really committing to sitting my ass down and writing for at least an hour, Monday to Friday. Even if I stare at the page for 30 minutes, that's okay. Um, and I'm excited to just like explore that from not this strict schedule to publish or because I'm trying to strategize my way to something, but more because I'm really feeling called and I have a very strong feeling that something is coming through. But man, it's uncomfortable. We'll stay tuned. Stay tuned, so I'll share more on that too. Okay, last couple intentions. Next one is intuition first, everything else second. So this past year has been such an initiation into this. I mean, there's a theme here, isn't there? And I unfortunately know that this is just the path I'm being guided on. I know I'm meant to lead from my heart, from my intuition, and it's so uncomfortable for my logical mind. The part of me that loves and is just so freaking good at strategy. It's hard to kind of like abandon it, even though it's not really abandoning it. My ego perceives it to be that. And it feels like I'm like stepping away from my intellectual self. Now, when I'm grounded, when I tap into it, I know that's not true. I know that there is always a time and a place for my excellent business acumen to take center stage and run with it. Unfortunately for me, it's just not meant to be the driver. And all and I I can even see this, you know, looking back. That has always been the path that's brought me so much joy. When I follow my intuition, which I have done millions of times, it's why I can tap into it so easily. It's why I think I've been able to get a lot more downloads and messages because I already have that trust. And whenever I trust it, even though it's uncomfortable, even though it scares the shit out of me every time, it always leads me to more joy, more magic, more abundance, and more growth than I could have imagined possible, which is, you know, also hard and also so rewarding and peacekiving. And, you know, ultimately, it just feels correct in my system. So I'm really going to continue to nourish that, to honor that connection, to, you know, love and nurture that aspect of myself and that connection to my higher self, spirit, the unseen, however we want to call it. And it's interesting because, you know, I was joking with a friend who is a one of my best friends. She's an incredibly talented medium and psychic. And a lot of my good friends are very intuitively gifted. And I always, I might have shared this before. I always joke how I was like, but I'm like, I thought I was like just the normal one in the group. I don't mean that in a negative way. I just meant like I didn't want to walk this path. I don't want to be the spiritual one. I don't really resonate with like the whole vibe of that. I you will never catch me in fucking flowy ass dresses with feathers in my hair and dream catchers around me. Like it is just not who I am. But as I am learning, that does not matter. And just the experiences I've had, the coincidences, just the lived experiences. I just can't deny that world. I can't deny it. It's so real. It's real, more real than anything. And I can't deny the messages I keep getting around how I am meant to lead from that place of connection. So stay tuned. Um, you know, it's so interesting. Life school, earth school. It's it's a it's a real doozy, I tell you. That could be a chapter in itself. So we'll pause that for now. So what I know is that I'm just not to lead from that place. And I'm really ready. And I also think this has so much to do with the work I've done internally, resourcing myself with the skills to really trust those nudges and listen better to the directives I receive and have more trust and faith in the path. And so it is. So I'm certain I won't get that right this year, but you know, none of these intentions are about check marks. It's just about honoring the direction that I'm feeling called to walk and really committing and having, you know, um reverence for that and devotion to continue to hold myself to that. So, number five, more radical honesty. You know, I really wanted to title this one Less People Pleasing or like more capacity to be understood, but I want to focus on what's on my side of the fence and, you know, can't get psychology of change ever out of my brain or body. So 2025 was definitely a year of stepping into this more than I ever had. And it was hard to put it incredibly lightly. It pissed a lot of people off. It left a lot of room for misunderstanding, but mostly it just created a lot of discomfort within me because of the how deep that pattern of peacekeeping and people pleasing just is for me. You know, like I think if you grow up in a very unsafe environment, um, and you've learned that it's like physically unsafe to not adapt to those around you and to not pacify and to not peacekeep, it's a hard thing to shake, you know? And it's also so cool because how else do you embody sovereignty than from going through that? And I'm in a place now where I have agency, where I have sovereignty, where I can I've expanded my regulation and I've created so much more microdosing has helped so much with this. It's really trippy in the sense of not trippy because you're tripping, because that's not how it works. I really need to do that podcast on this soon. But it's wild, it's I was explaining to my friend the other day. This is the only way I can explain it. It's like when you're in a situation that maybe before would have, I don't even like the word trigger, but I guess for lack of better words, trigger you and where you would have potentially in the past acted a certain way or followed through on a certain pattern, but it's like time pauses and you get like a couple seconds to see it and to actually ground and be present and choose differently. Like it's a trippy thing to experience. And it's been so, oh, how beneficial. It's been so beneficial. So being able to teach my body and my nervous system, my brain that has been a real journey that I've walked my entire fucking life. But this past year I've made so many more leaps and bounds in expanding my capacity to hold that discomfort I feel when other people are uncomfortable, upset, frustrated, and or straight up pissed at me. And I've been so much better at just holding that discomfort. I feel when I'm misunderstood. And I finally feel ready to really show up in such a more authentic way because I've rewritten that pattern. And I'm not looking through everything of through the lens of like, how is this going to be received? Can people handle this? Can people hold this? That's not on me, quite frankly. And you know, I think it's worth mentioning that that skill has made me such a fucking good entrepreneur. It's made me incredibly empathic. It's made me an incredibly skilled coach. It enables me to read rooms in 2.2 seconds. I can tell how people are feeling within a moment. It makes me incredible at marketing at so much more. And it's created so much success and financial abundance, right? And it's not that I'm like not gonna utilize that, but I'm just no longer available to do that at the detriment of my own truth. And that feels so equally powerfully good and freeing as it does terrifying. Because I have a feeling what that means, you know? So it I think that's important to say because it's not like that's bad. Like I think we are so quick to make things bad. And like, yeah, it's not helpful to keep running trauma patterns because that's holding us back in some way, shape, or form. It's it's limiting our capacity to experience the fullness of life in so many ways, you know? Can it work? Absolutely. Absolutely. But there's so much more available for us. And so I'm just really committed to finding a way to keep that skill of like being wildly empathic, being able to be so intuitive with how people are feeling without abandoning my own safety and my own needs and my own self-respect and love. And I want to really like share that. I want to share more of that because this is like something I think we're not taught and isn't talked about in the online space. So stay tuned for that. And I just wanted to share this as also a gentle reminder that there's no right way to find your footing on the edge of a new year. So those are the main intentions of what I'm carrying into this new year. Those aren't the right intentions, those are just my honest intentions. And it's cool because I'm I'm not holding these like check marks. These aren't goalposts, these are just ways I know I'm going to step into being. And I know that's going to lead me as to to the exact place that I meant to go. So I hope that that is helpful. I hope that just gives you, you know, some insight as to you're allowed to walk into this new year in a totally different way. And if like me, you've had a really big growth year and you know, you know there's so much that has been coming through for you in this last year, and so much that you know you're stepping into, please don't forget to reflect on how far you've come and how much beginning of 2020 2025 you would be so insanely proud of who you're becoming without needing to do anything else, check anything else off. None of that. None of that. You just get to acknowledge the growth you've had and trust that you're exactly where you need to be. Okay, I hope that was helpful. Um, I hope that serves you. And I'm excited to share more. Sending you all so much love. We'll chat soon. If this episode landed, it would mean the world to me. If you shared it on IG, don't forget to tag me and left a review on Apple Pod so we can spread this message far and wide. It means the world to me that you are with me, helping to collectively awaken everyone to their own innate power. So if you email a screenshot of that to hello at elise.com, I will send you a special align and abundance meditation to help you drop into alignment, reconnect with your intuition, and tune into your exact next soul led move. No strings, just my gift for you. Thank you.
