Speaker 1:

Hi, kids Hockey mom Chrissy Casciato Burns here and I want to talk to you a little bit about sportsmanship, Good sportsmanship. There's nothing I hate to see more than kids throwing a temper tantrum during a game, and I've seen it and it really upsets me, upsets a lot of us parents, because there's absolutely no excuse for throwing equipment, slamming your stick on the ice, just because something in the game didn't go your way. When the game is over, kids, you need to congratulate the other team for a good game, no matter how heated that game was. When it's over, it's over. As one of my daughter's favorite coaches always said to her flush it, shake hands, go home and forget about it. Alright, every game you need to show good sportsmanship. There are a lot of ways to do it, and one of them is learning how to control your emotions. Alright, you'll be a better person and a better hockey player for it. Have a great rest of the season, kids, and thanks for listening.
