SPEAKER_06Canthorumbius probably shouldn't have been directed VHS by now, and people didn't really like his first movie, but in the second one he fought Ryan Reynolds and brought the crowds back.
SPEAKER_03And Meyer is a DVD designed to look like the Lord of the Rings, but it's not actually the Lord of the Rings. But you're gonna rent it and be like, what the fuck? Why did I rent the steward of the bracelets?

SPEAKER_03I took the elevator real slow.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so ever since uh you guys killed uh those Sith or were party to the death of some Sith and a Jedi, there's been an increase in Sith patrols in the lower city. Red armored troopers have uh been spotted more and more frequently. Uh there have been more security checkpoints added that restrict travel between different zones in the city. A lot of people are feeling kind of uh agitated and disturbed and upset and just overall chafed. Um Vanry as the bouncer, uh, you may notice some of this chafing as there is you hear the sound of smashing glass coming from across the street, and you can see that Krusty Sheets has been thrown through the window of his motel's front office onto the street by a group of exchange thugs, including Tem and Kang, whose speeder you stole. Oh Krusty looks pretty beat up aside from being thrown through his window, and the exchange thugs are carrying a drawer uh as they leave his office and get into their own speeder and drive away.
SPEAKER_10Um, once they've driven away, because I uh don't want to go out while they're still there. Can I go out and uh check on Krusty?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he's moaning and rolling on the ground in the with like surrounded by these shards of glass, many of which are stuck into his skin.
SPEAKER_03Oh no. This poor nasty old man. Oh my god, Krusty, are you are you okay?
SPEAKER_09Do you need help?
SPEAKER_00Uh no, I got thrown through a window, my dude. So no, wait, no, you don't because you were thrown like.
SPEAKER_09Okay, like, come on, come over to the bar.
SPEAKER_10Like, maybe Al or Bombias can like help you out or something.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I could use a pretty stiff drink.
SPEAKER_10I'll I'll help them up, help them hobble over.
SPEAKER_07And help them hobble through. They take a cache drawer or like a desk drawer? They took my tapes. Uh-oh. They have to paint tapes?
SPEAKER_10Like, what? Like your tapes of the rooms?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, a lot of um pretty nasty stuff in there. I got uh let's see, because they were they were asking about some stolen speeder or something. I don't I don't know about that. I I don't it's none of my business, but they were after some stolen speeder, and I told them I didn't know nothing, so they took all my security tapes, and there's um well, I I'm a little bit actually kind of worried about that because there's a lot of stuff on there. You got uh like all those Sith officers that go to the bar, they sometimes come to the the motel afterwards, uh Mandalorians taking their helmets off. I there's even some uh and he and he looks at uh Meyer and he says, even a couple of backup jizz whalers uh sharing a bed with people who aren't synthbop starlets, if you know what I mean.
SPEAKER_08What? When you told them when you told them that you didn't know nothing, did they throw it back at your face and by using because you used a double negative or uh no, they threw me through the window. Oh yeah, that works.
SPEAKER_03I can't believe you just gave me black film information on Yuri just like just like that. Oh my god, we don't have the proof anymore!
SPEAKER_00Yeah, that's the problem, is all that shit's been taken by the exchange who uh once they uh get a good look at everything in there, they're gonna have a lot of ammo to make things a lot worse than they already are down here.
SPEAKER_09Um, out of curiosity, like, were there any tapes of the parking lot?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, probably.
SPEAKER_08What do you mean, probably? Don't you know what's on the tapes?
SPEAKER_00I mean, I don't review every tape. Like a lot of parking lot stuff is just uh, you know, for record keeping purposes. I uh haven't had a r chance to catalog everything from the past little while. Got quite a backlog.
SPEAKER_08When was the last time you reviewed anything from the parking lot?
SPEAKER_00Uh probably last time I reviewed anything from the parking lot was uh, well, when you guys came over and there was that whole thing with the those kids in the uh the animal pens.
SPEAKER_08So you basically never look at the parking lot tapes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they're pretty uneventful.
SPEAKER_03How often does it get put on the tapes?
SPEAKER_00Well, I'm running tape uh all the time. It's just uh I you know, just goes into the archives.
SPEAKER_09Hmm. And like, the the tapes you have facing out on the parking lot, like how clear are they?
SPEAKER_00Well, you know, pretty clear. Like, if I I guess if somebody did steal their speeder, they'd probably be able to find them.
SPEAKER_10Oh. That's bad, right? I mean that that's good for them. We don't have a problem with that. Um.
SPEAKER_07Where would be a good place to go? Where would be a good place to go watch the tapes with them so we can celebrate when they find who did it?
SPEAKER_00Man, I don't know. You'd have to find someone who's in with the exchange. I don't I don't deal with them. Yes. Would we uh would we know anyone? You you may notice like Maz uh glaring angrily at you guys, uh squeaking the glasses as she washes them. Is Maz in the exchange? And she says, uh What do we do? I might know where to find someone who works for the exchange. Ooh, keeping secrets. Well, so I've been seeing this guy from Kashyyyk, his name's Taraza, um, and he and his family have been doing some odd jobs for the exchange, and he's always had a problem with that Temen Kang. And a couple of nights ago, he kinda, you know, was at my place, we were spending some time together, and in the morning I noticed that about 2,000 credits was missing from my account. And I left him an incredibly nasty voicemail. He told me that he was just gonna use my card to go out and pick up some smoke, but I haven't heard from him since, but I think that he might have been the guy who stole that speeder.
SPEAKER_09My god, that bastard!
SPEAKER_00You should tell us where to find him. We'll go beat him up for you. I can tell you where he and his family hang out, that no good so-and-so. Even when she's mad, she's adorable. And you know, if he if he has my money, I I you don't have to. I understand, like, if this is like a it's it's I'm kind of hiring you guys for mercenary work, so I understand if you feel like you would have to t keep the money as a f like a as a fee or whatever, but I would appreciate having that back. He knew I was sending sending that to my family back home and he still stole it.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, like we can keep an eye out, like, oh my god, Maz, like what kind of asshole would steal money from you? Like, we'll make sure we get it back. If we can, you know, if nothing else comes up.

Um, she said that he and his family are from Kashyyyk, so like, as Wookies, they're probably it's it's probably harder for them to find uh good work since they can't really speak the basic. The basic. Do any of us speak the Shriwook? I don't think so. Um, you might have a cursory understanding of it. Uh so that'll be probably uh two purple with a black. Like, Wookiees aren't super uncommon. Um, they are often captured by Zirka and used as slave labor across the galaxy. So if any of you have dealt with the help before, uh you may have picked up a few things, or if you have, you know, certain uh romance novels, that would be it. None of you can really understand, like they could be speaking totally fluently, but it would it would seem very like broken to you. Um Meyer, you got some extra threats, so most of like the stuff you could hassibly speak or at least replicate is are not things that you would usually use in regular con conversation.
SPEAKER_03It's a lot of all the swears.

SPEAKER_00Vanry, uh, you've got you've got no clue. Al, uh, you don't really know Shrewook that much, but like picking up on you're pretty adept at picking up context clues. So as long as you know Meyer and Rhombius are providing enough enough context, you'd probably be able to follow along.
SPEAKER_08I don't know Shrewok, but I do know Karaji.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, like you you're you're pretty good as a spy. You can identify like body language, uh, and like Wookiees, like their faces are kind of different, but still still close enough that physical cues you'd still be able to gauge kind of basic emotions.
SPEAKER_10Okay, let's continue on then.
SPEAKER_00So you guys uh can hop into your uh modified enough that uh they didn't I if they did see it, they didn't notice it was the same stolen speeder speeder, and head down to where the uh this guy's Wookiee family, this Wookie family is living. And you can see that as you kind of uh descend, it does seem to be there are a lot of like fairly, you know, rugged, let's say, looking people down there. This may be like a gang-affiliated area or an area where the exchange is uh protecting people. You do notice a lot of people wearing patches and tattoos of the exchange's logo, but you can pull up to this uh little mechanics shop where you can hear like Wookiees howling from the inside at each other and people working and stuff uh on various equipment. This may have been uh what they did when if they were enslaved by Zerka and have now taken to doing on the outside, but you can uh approach and see that there are uh a number of Wookiees that are working on fixing various pieces of equipment. It looks like uh like air conditioners and home appliances. They're not a vehicle shop shop, they seem to be mostly concerned with serving their community. Uh they do seem to have like one human employee though. Uh I don't know if he's really dressed for it. Um, like because Wookiees don't really wear that much clothes. And this guy, like, he's got like long, shaggy hair. He's pretty muscular, he's pretty well built, and he does have like a Wookiee bandolier with a little uh pouch that is blocking the view of his uh attributes.
SPEAKER_10Oh my god, is this gonna be Tarzan today? Is that gonna be the story?
SPEAKER_00Mazza's boyfriend Taraza.

SPEAKER_10Well, I don't know if we need to blackmail him, because it's like she was saying that he doesn't like he has connections with the exchange, but he doesn't like the guy who took the videos. So he might be motivated to help us just to like get back at that dude. But then also we could be like, oh yeah, Maz was just telling us, like, oh, she's she likes you so much, she just wishes that, you know, money wasn't so tight, cause her poor family, she needs about like two thousand dollars, maybe three thousand, and then we just keep the other thousand.

Uh and we could repay you, uh, because um, you see, your girl, she thinks you stole a lot of money from her, and we could convince her it wasn't you. So it's a win-win breath.
SPEAKER_00Is that that would explain the very explicit voicemail she left me? Like an angry one or uh yes, she was uh quite intense. I couldn't quite understand what she was talking about. SPEAKER_00Yes, Temen's father is a uh penchant for throwing in Nerduells and intruders into his uh estate's labyrinth and uh giving them as food to his alchemical abomination.

SPEAKER_00Well, that shouldn't be a problem. Like I said, I can get you inside the door. I am affiliated with the exchange, and they would not uh necessarily blink at my landing a speeder on their platform, but to venture further into where Tem intends to hang his many hats would uh require guile or boldness. And uh such a thing I would not dare to attempt on my own, but since you seem to be as much a friend to Maz as I, I feel that I can trust you.
SPEAKER_10Yeah, we're great friends to Maz. The best. Maz is great. We would She's quite a charming creature.

SPEAKER_00Well, like I said, uh, as I have done work for the exchange, I do have the passcodes for the front doors. Just the uh the places where they're likely to be reviewing these so-called tapes, that would be an issue. Plus, there is the increased security that the Sith have been imposing on us, and uh even just getting up to the upper city itself will be might be a bit of a challenge.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, does the exchange wear like uniforms or something?
SPEAKER_00Well, some members of the exchange wear uh tattoos to show their affiliation, or jackets emblazoned with patches and so on and so forth, but uh to do that we would need to rough up some tough customers.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, I love kicking heads in. And like what? We just need a patch for each of us, so that's just like five dudes, whatever.
SPEAKER_00Or you could get emblazoned on your skin.
SPEAKER_09Mmm. Uh, what does the tattoo look like?
SPEAKER_00Well, it looks like this, and he reaches into his little front pouch and he pulls out a little emblazoned patch of the exchange logo. It's like a little, um ha it's half black, half white, and it looks like a little s kind of like a little spear inside of a circle, with like a couple of like spiky point outs on the side.
SPEAKER_09And uh, where would that have to be tattooed?
SPEAKER_00Well, somewhere visible. I don't expect that uh the exchange would be looking at your fanny.
SPEAKER_08Um, do you had it out?
SPEAKER_03Excuse from getting a tattoo, I'm Oh god, there's no skin to tattoo on.
SPEAKER_00Relatively skinless. Yes, that would provide a dilemma. Uh in in that case, it might be best to uh locate some of the exchange's other thugs and uh take from them.
SPEAKER_10Or that means it would be extra good to tattoo on you, because you could just find like your most healed patch of skin, have that exposed, and then when we're done, you just like peel it off and let it start healing again. Oh you know how your body's a nightmare.
SPEAKER_08God. My body is it it looks like it was ran over by a steamroller that was going about 70 miles an hour.

With uh rather than just people kind of like examining licenses and stuff, there are actual heavy-duty scanners that you will have to pass through.

So it is just like building upon building upon mega skyscraper upon building upon mega skyscraper. So there are definitely ways you could get up. Uh Vanry. You can see in the distance, like Taraza kinda elbows you and he says, There, that is the exchange estate. That is the Kang estate up there. If we could access that building from down here, we could potentially bypass the security checkpoints and just take the take the lift.
SPEAKER_09Oh yeah, can we get to that thing over there?
SPEAKER_00You might be able to. Uh, Al and Rombies, you can see that that might be something you can do, like the the building goes all the way down. Meyer, you're kind of you don't notice the building, but you do see that like the Sith are kind of patrolling around that building, so if you do, it might be a little bit tight, but uh you may be able to time it so that you sneak in after the patrols have passed.
SPEAKER_10I mean, I'm down with that. What would it be to try to time that?
SPEAKER_00Either a piloting or a perception, depending on what you want to lean on more. If you want to use your piloting skills to just kind of sneak in if you want to watch their patrol route, that would be a perception. Uh, maybe knowledge warfare, uh, since these are Sith militaries, if anybody has any knowledge about Sith military patrol structures.

But Robbie's you got those advantages, so you can advise whoever's driving, Al or Vanry, to uh merge with a different lane of traffic and just let that Sith Patrol vehicle pass you by. Zipper merge, zipper merge, zipper merge, and eventually make it to a uh section of the skyscraper that is not being very heavily patrolled. It seems to be a uh waste uh depository. You can see these like long brown wet stains that are dribbling down the side from this from this big grate on the side of the building.
SPEAKER_10Why are we always crawling up sewers? I guess this time we're kind of flying up it, but it seems to be our lot in life.
SPEAKER_00The grate is big enough to to just kind of barely fit your speeder. So you'll have to uh do some pretty pretty tight flying.

It's pretty big, pretty industrial.

You can hear them like on the PA speaker saying, Excuse me, uh unidentified vessel, stop where you are.

Uh lodging free some pieces of metal debris that were stuck inside there that tumble out. Perhaps uh they think they got you. Either way, there's enough of a cloud of smoke behind you uh that they don't follow you and they don't see that you weren't blown up.

SPEAKER_00So as you are rising up through the sewers, uh, the as you're going up through the building, as there is less and less uh stuff to accept waste from the tunnel is getting tighter and tighter and tighter.

SPEAKER_00There are tunnels uh full of waste that you could also uh use to get to the outside, conceivably.

And as you exit the speeder and kind of survey your surroundings, you can see there are some uh sewer tunnels that uh you can kind of see some light at the end of that may lead to the exterior of this mega skyscraper. There are some ladders that you could climb that lead up into maintenance hatches inside the building.

Now, the part of the building that this enters into is seemingly like just a sort of general maintenance control area for the entire mega skyscraper. Uh it's not specifically the Kang Estate, it is uh since that is one of the many people that live in this building. Okay, is there like si you said it's a maintenance area, like what Yeah, you can see some people down at the end of the hallway in like jumpsuits and stuff that are that are talking and uh discussing things and some people heading into various control rooms to watch for, you know, flow regularity, temperature control, that kind of thing.
SPEAKER_10So once we're in co like turn to Taraza and just be like, so like do you know where we are in the building? Like, where would we go from here?
SPEAKER_00Well, this appears to be um a uh maintenance area for the entire structure. It probably encompasses uh many different residences and businesses and whatever happens to be in this building. I haven't been here before, I must say that.
SPEAKER_09Do you think there'd be security down here? Like maybe we could find a map or like cameras that show us where in the building the gangs are?
SPEAKER_00Yes, I suppose it probably would. At the very least, they'd have to have a map of where all their various services go into and out of.

SPEAKER_00Like finding finding that would be either a perception if you want to find it, or a stealth if you want to kind of keep your wits about you while staying out of sight.

They may have their own sort of systems in place.

It is this sort of walled area uh at the top of the building, and there is a small sort of uh speeder parking lot that uh has platforms that extend out beyond the edge of the building. But you can approach the front gate and uh Teraza, he reaches the guards and he says, Yes, I'm Taraza, I uh I'm allowed, and he opens his pouch and he shows his little patch, and the guards say, We don't recognize these people.

There are serving droids that are serving uh people of various uh of various types. You can see uh Rombius, you can recognize Orlock and his cadre are uh standing in the shade of a large tree with holding these like umbrellas and parasols to stay out of the sun with these dark glasses. Uh Meier, you can see a group of Kwadi nobles that are gathered, identifiable, uh wearing their uh skykhyber pendants denoting their station in their in their houses. Uh Al, you can identify that there are some uh uniformed Sith intelligence officers. They carry themselves with the bearing of a of prepared agents. You don't recognize them, they may have been after your time. And Vanry, you can see dressed in black robes, uh, some Sith uh wielding, you know, clip to their belts with lightsabers that are also attending this soaree. At the center of this garden, there is this like big uh it looks like a freighter that's kind of gated off, walled off with like a uh a little laser rope with a plaque at the front denoting whatever, you know, history it has.
SPEAKER_10So, wait, what is what is the ship? Is that like what what is the history that it has on the plaque in front of that ship?
SPEAKER_00Uh so if you go up to the plaque, um it says The Eben Hawk. In millennia past, Davik Kang gave this vessel to the Sith Lord Darth Revan in his quest to bring balance to the galaxy. SPEAKER_00So, uh sneaking with Taraza, you can uh bypass the security of this thing and the loading ramp lowers, and you can sneak aboard. It looks like this ship, um, there's not a lot of dust in here. It looks like it it is kind of maintained fairly well. Uh looking around, you can see it's quite clean. Um, heading up to the cockpit, you can see that although like it does have a lot of the original, it seems to at least have a lot of older style controls and things. It seems like like when you start flipping switches and booting it up, it seems like at least the internals of it have been kept up to date. So it's not like you're not running on like 2,000-year-old engines.

SPEAKER_00And Taraza says, uh, okay, so we're stealing this ship. Uh I think I saw like a uh a gun turret. Uh, should I hop in?

SPEAKER_00So since uh you guys are inside the estate proper, it's the it's this kind of long hallway with high ceilings. Um, so he can blast an area around the chain, uh, dislodging it from the ground, but now you have this kind of like giant concrete wrecking ball attached to this chain that is dragging your ship down and unbalancing it.

Uh it's a little hard to keep steady, Al, as this wrecking ball is swinging below you. It like smashes into the building below you, knocking out some windows. But the third thug can go now before Rhombius will have a chance. Um, and he looks and he sees uh this ship on the other side. Uh so what he's gonna do is he is just going to call uh like he makes this frantic call on his communicator to scramble air support.

SPEAKER_00Alright.
SPEAKER_08So we end up crashing the ship anyway.
SPEAKER_00The gunships are catching up to you. Your piloting is not that great that they can't catch up to you. But rather than trying to blow you out of the sky, uh, they are like pointing tractor beams at you. This is an antique, this is a relic, this is a a fairly uh important piece of Sith history, apparently. So they like train the tractor beams on you, and when they're like grabbing your ship, you can feel them grabbing at the ship. But they're also grabbing the giant chunk of concrete, and huge chain that's attached to the bottom, and eventually that just like snaps off and flies into one of the gunships.
SPEAKER_08Causing a domino effect on all the other ships.
SPEAKER_00Well, let's see. Uh, so this first gunship gets impacted. Uh, there are two that are following you. This first gunship, this huge Piece of concrete chain smashes into it and it starts tail spinning. Uh let's see uh how well the pilot can do against this. What was your uh role there? That'll determine how hard they will have to pilot against it.

SPEAKER_00Okay. Uh two failures. So the second gunship cannot move out of the way of the first. They collide into it. Slowly falling down uh towards the lower levels of the planet. Sure to collide with some poor person.
SPEAKER_10Oh. So are there any other gunships that are pursuing us, or is it just those ones?
SPEAKER_00It was those were the two that were scrambled. There may be more coming, but that depends on uh how quickly you can get out of here.
SPEAKER_10Okay, so now we maybe have a minute to um hop out and then just set it set it spiraling.
SPEAKER_08I'm really hoping I don't accidentally 9-11 a building. Oh.
SPEAKER_10You know, the best way to avoid accidentally doing that is just to deliberately do it.

SPEAKER_00Um, so uh Al, you can position this thing near a sewer hole that you guys can climb into. And Vanry, you can stand by as everyone hops to safety. So, Vanry, um this is gonna be a mechanics, I think. Oh no. So things might go wrong. Um This is average difficulty. Any, you know, anyone who's dealt with ships before should be able to do this, but you know, things might go wrong anyway. So that'll be a red and a purple. And because you will have to like run run out, that's also gonna add two blacks.
SPEAKER_10But since I have to run run out, could I use my brawn instead of my intelligence?
SPEAKER_00No, that just may uh impact how hard you will have to run. So the athletics role may be uh informed by your mechanics role.

SPEAKER_00Uh, you're gonna have to wanna run. Give me a red and a purple athletics. All of us? Yeah. Well, I think probably just Vanry. The rest of you are probably waiting in the car.
SPEAKER_10You guys have already gone ahead. A success and a triumph.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're right. Good at one thing at least. Do this superhuman leap and you can book it down the tunnel. And as you do behind you, uh, you can hear the the smashing of steel as this ship just plows like right through this skyscraper. Uh, and then there's this explosion as the hyperdrive bursts.
SPEAKER_07Oh.
SPEAKER_00Uh, so Al, you may want to give me a uh piloting role.
SPEAKER_07We came to get the security footage back and ended up declaring war.
SPEAKER_10Oh my god. Really? It's it's our fault that they put a starship inside a skyscraper in the middle of a city. Well, they put it on a skyscraper.
SPEAKER_07Okay, we put it back.
SPEAKER_10They put it in a skyscraper. That's even worse. It's just really on them.

SPEAKER_10Any drunk lunatic could have gotten access to it.

SPEAKER_00Yeah, so as like this thing is crumbling all around you, it's so hard to keep track of everything. There are pieces of debris that are falling down the field. One of them does like snap into your speeder and it makes the control like just totally unresponsive. It just starts spinning and whirling. Alarms are blurring. But luckily, at a certain point you just bottom out and like it's get along the bottom of the tube until it just shoots you out. And you're like, speed and such a velocity that if you uh look back in the rear view mirror, all you can see is this huge cloud of dust and this mega skyscraper collapses from the uh coaxium explosion of a starship crashing into it.
SPEAKER_08And I and I cry a single tier. I cry a single tier.
SPEAKER_00Uh, none of the Sith are paying attention to what you're doing because any uh checkpoint in the area, any other vehicles, they are immediately turning their attention towards this building that is collapsing in the middle of the city.
