This week E Boogie & Lady D flashback to their interview with Iti, a member of the New City collective Merk La Familia.

The group is comprised of Zimbabwean brothers T and Bic Will, French producer/DJ Juju, Harlem rapper Milli, and Haitian singer Maritza. Known for their events and public stunts, Merk blends hip-hop, new wave, and world music influences on their debut EP LOUD, and their debut studio album Safe in Sound.

The dynamic deejay stopped by In the Field during the height of the coronavirus pandemic to talk about Merk La Familia the collective.  He talks about all things audio, how amazing Mexico is, and why ALL Drakes matter.
