The Number 23, directed by Joel Schumacher, is one of those mystery thrillers that raises more questions than it answers. How does Walter forget he wrote the novel? Why doesn't the bookstore owner recognize him? If Walter and Agatha met nine years ago, why is their son almost old enough to drive a car?
