Jala Moushi is the Education Pharmacist at Chemist Warehouse and the National Intern Training Coordinator, where she leads the development, mentoring, and support of more than 700 pharmacy interns across Australia. With a career spanning community and hospital pharmacy, as well as academic research, Jala brings a well-rounded and progressive approach to pharmacy education.
Jala also serves as a Teaching Associate at Monash University, contributes regularly to the Australian Journal of Pharmacy, and shares accessible, evidence-based health advice as a wellness columnist for The House of Wellness. Her passion lies in empowering early-career pharmacists, building clinical confidence, and championing lifelong learning.
Jala believes in the evolving role of pharmacists - not only as medicines experts, but as leaders in healthcare. Alongside her educational work, she is actively exploring the future of pharmacy through innovation, with particular interest in precision medicine and personalised care.
