Todd:

Welcome to Todd Talks, where I help you design your best life, not the life that I designed for you, but the life that you designed. This has been an interesting break. You know I've taken several months off from hosting the podcast, mostly due to changing life circumstances, which have not caused me to want to cancel or stop doing the podcast, but due to the fact that I was super busy, super focused, overwhelmed with projects. What happened? 1. I retired from the military. One July was my official retirement date. 2. I left Norway. 3. My son got married. 4. In between all that, I had to pack up and move the house from Norway to set up shop in Florida. 5. Going for new work while at the same time doing a temporary sales job. Needless to say, it's been a busy several months and because of that I have not been recording any new podcasts until today.

Todd:

We're going to jump off and start season three. That's what we're going to call it, because I have a lot of things going on. I have a lot of ideas and plans and focus to really kick off Todd Talks as a benefit for my coaching practice, which is to help you to balance the five pillars of health and wellness, which are mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, financial. The whole goal of Todd Talks is to help you balance out one of those five areas. That's why I have different guests on, that's why I have different ideas, different activities, different subject matters for each episode, and so we're going to kick this off again and please feel free to subscribe. If you subscribe and you can even subscribe and sign up for premium content and you will get extras, which I will be recording and adding that are not available on the free channels but one of the things that I want to point out is that none of this comes without your support. I have been thoroughly happy doing this for the last going on three years now. We've done over 150 episodes and I think I'm just getting into my stride of learning and figuring out how to really ask the tough questions and also provide insights and answers into areas that that I've had to work on myself.

Todd:

I've had to work on many of these areas, which is why I focus on balancing the five pillars. That's the thing, that's the ticket. They talk about balance in life and when I say they, it's the ubiquitous, they, the, they, whoever that is. Balance is important. Even though you're never fully balanced, you're always going to feel out of balance in one area or another area because you're focusing more on one or another area in your life at any given time. But to find peace and happiness and hope and joy in the journey, you want to figure out which areas you are out of balance on and work on those areas. So the reason for my coaching practice is to help you to identify, develop the mindset to be able to work on those areas that you need support or that you need to strengthen, because you know that there are areas in your life that you are strong on. I guarantee it. There are areas that you have perfected almost in your life.

Todd:

Whether it's mental health, you're super resilient. Nothing phases you. Pandemic didn't bother, you doesn't matter. You're resilient. Okay, but what? What area of your life are you struggling in? How are you physically? How is your body weight, your body image, your ability to walk, run or jog a quarter mile, a half mile, a mile? How about your spiritual health? Do you just live in a fog and believe that there's no purpose in life? Or have you found your purpose? Have you figured out and do you have those spiritual, the spiritual guidance and bindings that that will help you get through tough and challenging times Financial Are you financially free or are you debt ridden? You know we all go through that. And emotional, are your emotions all over the place because you can't figure out how to control them. This is where balance comes in. This is where my coaching practices is designed to help you learn to balance those areas.

Todd:

The podcast is designed to help you figure out areas to work on yourself and pick and choose different methods and techniques that you feel might work for you. Season 3 is going to have a greater emphasis on each of these five areas. We'll tackle one area a week, so I'm going to release just one episode a week. Plus, I'm going to have additional content available if you subscribe to the premium content. I'm going to be doing a lot more with my buddy, shane Murphy, because he and I are going to start in in October. We are going to release a program where you can't. If you suffer from anxiety, you'll be able to get help with Shane to overcome anxiety After working with him for several weeks. You will also get several weeks with me for mindset to be able to maintain those things that you've learned with Shane. Throughout the whole time you'll be able to work with the nutritionists, because so much of what we do and who we are and how our mind functions comes from what we eat. These are some of the cool things that I've got going on.

Todd:

Another cool thing I told you that I was getting out of the Air Force, had plans, I got hired. I'm going to be flying I'm not sure exactly what plane yet, but I start my training in a few weeks and once I start I'm going to just tell everybody Hallelujah, I'm excited for it. I get to be up in the air again. When I was first learning to fly, that's when I truly knew that there was a God. You just could not be in a small plane alone, by myself, at 14,000 feet, 12,000 feet over the mountains, and not see the beauty of the Earth and know All of this. All the things that you want in your life or don't know that you want in your life, are encompassed in the five pillars. So I'm excited to tell you about the new adventures I'm about to have. I will share stories as I'm able and, at the same time, launching more episodes, launching a program with Shane and, as well, I'm available for coaching If you feel that you are out of balance in any of these areas, message me, because my goal and my plan is to help you to figure out one where you're stuck or where you are out of balance.

Todd:

Two, give you ideas, tools and tricks that will help you to get back on track. And three, be your mentor and accountability partner to help you to stay on track. This is what I do. I'm excited. I'm excited about the changes that have come into my life and that are coming into my life. I'm excited about the changes that will come into your life as you pick an area that you wanna work on.

Todd:

These are exciting times. This is a crazy world that we live in, with all sorts of things up and down and uncertainty, but you can be balanced and you can be at peace and you can feel strong throughout all of this, and I'm here to help. So if you're ready to be excited and improve yourself, balance out your mental, emotional, spiritual, physical and financial areas of life so that you can feel put together it's probably the best way to put it so that you're not overwhelmed and overstressed and anxious, then stay tuned, subscribe and be you know, be awarded with new episodes and new information each week. Glad to have you back on board. Glad to be back on board. I'm excited. Like I said, I get to start flying again in just a few weeks as I go through training, and these are great time. It's a great time to be alive.
