Jeremy Goldman

As some of you know Jeremy have a keen interest in journalism, and most of his background is in marketing, so it’s a special treat for us to be thinking about the future of how we market news. There’s no better person to talk to than Miki Toliver King, whom Jeremy met at this year's Collision From Home conference.

Miki is the Chief Marketing Officer of the Washington Post - the first to take on the role of CMO at the publisher. She oversees the Post's subscriptions business and national marketing campaigns, and I wanted to talk to her about the shift in the news business model, educating consumers on the importance of news and the cost it takes to produce quality journalism, the changing role of the CMO, and the overall health of the news media heading in the future.

As always, we welcome your feedback. Please make sure to subscribe, rate, and review on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, and Google Play.
