Matt and Allie present this month's clinical corner article that basically supports the whole theme of our podcast! Matt introduces the research report that tested the pathway of using direct access in visiting a PT first in comparison to the physician pathway alone. The study covered 66 children/adolescents presenting with muscle pain and split them into groups to compare the results. The patients who used their direct access showed higher rates of retention and compliance in their care!
