In the spirit of a new year and me making another transformation, I have decided to create a new season. So welcome to season two of the Heartsing podcast. Over two years of creating this podcast for you each week,

and I am inspired to take you on some journeys with me on the podcast this year. And I know you are going to get as inspired as I will as we grow together, of course, which just fires me up even more. And when I started this podcast, you guys, I had the intention to house all the magnificent transformational nuggets I picked up on my journey.

And I feel like I did. There's so many places that I can go and say, Hey, listen, episode 17, or Get your everyday adventure done. And here's about the magic morning pages. You know that I really have those key reference points that I wanted to have as people were kind of new coming into the group, these fundamentals of the journey I've taken.

So now that this has been done the past year, really I've been growing still. You know, I was in a year one and this is a year of new beginnings, big fresh ideas. And I was going, going, going. And now as I'm entering a year two, which is much more grounding and setting things up and feeling more rooted,

I'm really called to take the podcast with me on that journey as well. And therefore, you my darling heart singers. And I've decided to do this in the format of a self-discovery journey for both of us at the same time. And this has been in the making all year, well by the universe. Anyhow, it just came to me this morning as I was writing my magic morning pages by the river here at Kelly's house.

Picture this, I'm on this gorgeous porch in a rocking chair overlooking the river birds chirping, green grass laid out in front, just like begging me to get out there and do some cartwheels, which of course I did a couple just to prove the skill didn't go away. You know, when I rolled around the big five, oh yeah, baby, everything is better after 50.

Oprah was right. So anyhow, I was doing my morning routine, my gratitude practice, drawing cards, practicing being one with nature, you know, as one with the river. That was fun. You know, I was like floating down the river. I was the river, the river's all around me. And then I headed into my morning pages,

the magic ones I was telling you about. And as I was writing about what I wanted to do and create with the podcast this year, it just came pouring outta me. And I shared last week about why I still share my weight loss quest, even though I technically really don't teach weight loss, right? And that's still a part of my journey,

but I, I, I do. But it's hard to explain how this dive inside yourself to your deepest parts, to the soul awakening, uncovering that something more that seems so intangible that we all seek how this can be the answer to something you've been seeking, or at least a big piece of the puzzle you were missing with your health like I was.

And it's been inside of us all along. And so while this podcast is about finding Heartsing awakening to our true selves and our nature, and I'm telling the stories through my lens and through this ongoing past experience with weight loss, you know, having lost over a hundred pounds and on this quest still for my ultimate goal of 1 62 and through my desire to leave corporate America,

start my own business, this lifelong dream I thought I'd never realized, and to buying the rv, my adventure RV and traveling the country, oh my gosh, we've done so much in the past couple of years, right? So in these, in the five years on social media, I've been sharing and sharing my journey in real time. And this lens I see the world through has changed dramatically,

but not my passion. And that passion is always rooted for me in this weight loss and the people I'm driven to serve and and assist because of my background, because of fighting this battle my whole life. And because of my family and my history. And this was another reason I'm starting to season two because as I'm headed into this new season of my life,

and I promised myself when I started this that I would always be authentic. And it's one of my core values that I would continue to share in the moment with you as I have been. So you can experience all this ups and downs with me. The growth, the setback, and of course the magic, right? It's so exciting to be telling you that I'm ready to head into this next version of myself.

And of course it's a bit scary because you know, if it wasn't, I wouldn't think I was going in the right direction. So it must have a little fear in it because I'm doing something different and new. But I'm also a master at stepping into this fear now and for myself this season for me is really about putting roots and deep into Mother Earth,

but not only my physical body and nature and food and my being, but my home as well. Which, you know, how much your surrounding shape everything about how you show up in life. And I've always just had this knowing that home is where I am and I haven't wanted to be rooted anywhere, therefore the rv, right? The home on wheels.

So I could travel around and live this life at adventure and make no mistake, I still wanna live the life at adventure. I just see more airplanes in my future than RVs and my prior career, right? I served me well in that aspect. Property management had moved sites every two years or so. You know, Mini, Slayer still traumatized by this.

She hasn't moved in like six years. She's like, I'm never moving again, mom. So as I was contemplating all of this, right, and where I'm headed, I was thinking of you, my dear heart singers. And I was wondering, you know, where do I take us this year as I'm striving to live more intentionally with everything I do and what I wanna do here on the podcast with you?

And it just was like this lightning bolt download from the Divine, right? I am gonna map our Mini journeys for us this year, and I have the perfect place for us to start. And I'm gonna share that with you in a little bit here today. But first I want you to know my intention is for you, of course, for me to inspire you each week,

another one of my core values, but to help take you on a Mini dive inside each episode, learning something new about yourself on this journey that will lead you to sitting in this truth of your highest self, of who you truly are. So you can become this greater observer of self. And that you can uncover this magic that's right inside leading to your purpose.

And that doesn't mean life's always gonna be roses, rainbows, and all of that, right? In fact, and when you do get brave enough to seek out on this Venn adventure, just understand that there will be a lot of discomfort. But that's okay because you're gonna understand what's going on and we wanna be able to, you know, ans ask these big questions and let 'em be there and ruminate about 'em and say,

what if you know, why am I here? What's the purpose of it? What is my purpose? What do I really want? Do you even know what you truly desire? And so often we go through life seeking what we were told to want and what most of us thought we did because we didn't keep questioning if that's what we really want, or we didn't keep dreaming,

we just kept seeking that thing, the house, the family, the job, the, you know, fill in the blank for whatever it was you were seeking or maybe all of it, right? And we get there and we're like, all right, this is nice, but something's missing, right? What is gone? And this is why so many women I find on their weight loss quest,

we inevitably reach the space, or I shouldn't say inevitably. I think you can very well go through the rest of your life not asking or not thinking there's something more. But if you're here listening to the podcast, you're not one of those people, you're starting to wonder and you're starting to get curious and you're starting to think, you know what, it's not just about the weight.

And you might not be thinking that. Hopefully you're not thinking of it from a place of being in denial that you don't want it, that because you could never do it. But that you think that this space of awareness on your health journey and you're, you're starting to uncover desires that you didn't know you have. And this happens because you're not buffering your feelings all the time.

You know, you're not numbing out, you're not shoving your face, you're watching Netflix or doing things, you're allowing yourself to get a little and little more uncomfortable every day and you're picking up tools in order to be able to process and handle emotions in your body. And so as you do this, you're becoming this greater observer of yourself. So congratulations.

If you're walking around seeing yourself take action and being like, oh, yep, there you go again, you shouldn't be doing con step number one, right? You're becoming the observer. You're starting to see it. You're not just blindly doing it. And that's when you can step from that victim mode into empowerment and into cr, intentionally creating your life.

So as you come into this space where you make better choices in each moment you practice and you get better and better and you start to dive a little deeper inside of yourself, you're getting braver, gathering more courage and you step into more of the unknown. And until you're just like, okay, I'm not feeling fear. What's wrong? I'm not growing,

that's me, right? Like, oh, I'm feeling a little too comfortable, it's time to shake it up. I would wager Heartsing, you are on this path somewhere already, even if it's just the being curious part. So welcome, welcome, I am going to help take you on this dive inside and this is what I'm on the planet to do for myself and with you to be the guide by your side to be the sister right there as we uncover this about ourselves together.

And you can be in all different kinds of place on this path and I've created one, but it's really gonna take me all year to put it together to bring people into this path. The meditation part's getting done first. So check that out and get in. And just like the eight limbs of yoga, which I did a podcast series on that shows our eight paths to the highest self,

this, this path I put together is very similar. It just has tools that I've created or that have been put together to help you no matter where you come in, in that journey with stuff we do in today's language, right? Not from 50 ad, which is when potentially gave us the eight limbs of yoga, right? So I love taking you on this journey that doesn't just teach you something new but is gonna inspire you and is fun at the same time.

Cuz after all, what's the point? If we're not having fun, core value of mine might not be one of yours, but it is my mission to make sure you at least laugh or snort or do something one time in my podcast. Please if you don't someone reach out because I need to get a fire lit under me or something. So as I want to create this podcast this year to help you uncover these bits and pieces,

build this spiritual toolbox for yourself, if you will, of your self-discovery quest and help us become deeper as observers and understand that you are probably either walking, driving, washing clothes, you know, so I'm gonna try to make these nuggets things you can take away in the moment. You know, take a little thought on and perhaps take a pen and journal too later visiting the show notes or perhaps in the Facebook community,

the Heartsing podcast community where you can like take action with other listeners and all of this while promising to not bore you to tears and still sharing my journey. So what do we start with Slayer? Is that what you're over there thinking? Well, it is a year seven an auspicious year, a spiritual year. And as you know, I told you already,

I'm in a year two, which is very grounding and rooted and setting things up right? Like basically my number this year said Yo Slayer, you had all last year to get your act together and have all your big ideas and this year you ju you can just go about putting things together and fixing it because fate's taking care of the rest. I'm like,

oh, all right, well then what? What had I better do? And I'm like, well I better dive in my spiritual self if I'm leaving this all up to fate, right? I wanna be in that realm of infinite possibilities, the quantum realm, the pure potentiality of all existence. So I am creating from that space. So then I thought,

you know, we're getting there, you guys hang in with me. What better way to do that then to go through Deepak Chopra seven spiritual laws and his book is of success, but I am doing this of weight loss. I am going to relay it to weight loss and abundance and you know, jobs, I'm gonna relate this through the lens of my life,

which is all of those things and the from the seven spiritual laws of success. So if you wanna get the book and do it along with me, the next seven weeks or so, we will be going through each of these laws and to open us up and get you excited about this. Cuz you might be like, oh Slayer really? Yes, really get excited.

It's gonna be so much fun. We're gonna learn so much and you're gonna just have one fun little thing to think about and take with you each week. But I wanna share with you why it's gonna be important and to do so, I've gotta get Deepak's book here. So this book I have, I will put in a show notes for you. This is the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success,

A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams. He based this on his book Creating Affluence. Why I like this book so much you guys is it's more like a little handbook and I'm again gonna drop the link in the show notes here for you because I love this and I have been referring to this ever since I went to Chopra and got my meditation instructor certificate and I love how quick and easy it is to look and he's got a little summary at the end of each chapter today.

I'm just gonna share some of the introduction with you and he just says that so, well I would love to tell you, I'm gonna paraphrase, but I'm probably gonna just share and read some of this part with you because it's so key to understanding how fun this is gonna be and why this can be such a golden nugget on your weight loss quest. And while you're out there worrying about all the foods you're putting in your body and all the,

you know, gyms you're getting to and workout routines you're getting, and you know I do those things too. I wanna be my highest, healthiest self, but I also want to do it with effortless ease. And this is where learning things that are based and centered on the law of attraction, right? The laws of the universe. And we're gonna get into the spiritual laws that Deepak shares with us that are really related of course to law of attraction and abundance.

They're all the same rules, same laws. The more times we can hear it in as many different ways as possible, the more likelihood you're gonna pick up your little nugget of wisdom. So he says here, because you know we're talking about laws of success and to a lot of people that can be defined as many different things. So he starts out by defining that for us as an expansion of happiness and the progressive realization of worthy goals.

So it's this ability to fulfill your desires with effortless ease. But a<unk> boom, am I right? Don't you just want to get to that 1 62 version of yourself, whatever that is for you, and let it be effortless. This is what I'm seeking when I know I can reach my goals with effortless ease. When I can reach that spot, when I can become millionaire Addie,

when when I can reach all these next versions of myself with effortless ease, then I'm like, yes, I've arrived. Which of course I'll never arrive because there's always gonna be a new big scary goal. But that's the fun of it. Why else are we here, right? If you're not pushing yourself beyond your current capability. So it says yet success including the creation of wealth,

has always been considered to be a process that's required hard work and it's often considered to be the expense of others. We need a more spiritual approach to success and affluence, which is abundant flow of all good things. With this knowledge and practice of spiritual law. We put ourselves in harmony with nature and create with carefreeness love and joy. And I would offer to you,

you might think, oh that doesn't apply, that's talking about money, you know, affluence or abundance. And I would tell you this, the whole reason I have a group called MEfirst is because as women in particular you guys, we feel like we are doing harm to our families, to everybody but ourselves when we are not taking the time for us to work out to do our journal,

to do our meditation or whatever, we couldn't possibly be doing that. We have to be serving everyone else. We have to be making dinner, doing laundry, doing work, right? When you're sitting there and trying to have a moment of stillness and you feel like you can't because you've gotta answer to the kids or to the husband or to that email that came in that is not serving your highest self,

that is not with ease, right? And that's at the expense of yourself. But that feeling of guilt, that feeling of holding yourself back is coming from that space of feeling like we are going to hurt other people by putting ourselves first. So overcoming that block for us on this path is going to be huge. So I want just to put that radar of awareness.

So he says here, but how success also includes good health, energy, enthusiasm for life, fulfilling relationships, creative freedom, emotional and psychological stability and a sense of wellbeing. Peace in mind Chad Deepak, bring it on. See now aren't you excited witches and bitches, come on, I know you smiled. Give me some even with the experience of all of these things,

we will remain unfulfilled unless we nurture the seeds of divinity inside of us. True success is therefore the experience of the miraculous. It is the unfolding of divinity within us. This is what I'm talking about walking around like that beam of light is like firing my heart up, that I'm like walking around in this Heartsing all day long that bring that on. But you guys know how easy it is for me to like be in like I'm one with the river this morning and then in the next breath I'm reading a post.

I'm like, oh man, right? How many of us, how easy it is to forget our highest self, that light that is right within us. So much to the point. Sometimes I come out of it and I'm like, okay, is all this stuff I'm saying crazy and then I feel it and I connect with it. I'm like, okay,

no, that is truth. That is truth, true truth. And I wanna bring that to you gonna bring it this year. And when we again begin to experience our life as a miraculous expression of divinity, not occasionally, but all the time, then we will know the Truman success. That's what I'm talking about. So this podcast is gonna be like 50 more years long.

I'm not even kidding, right? Like how long is it gonna take before I can get there? I don't know, but I'm sure it's hell gonna keep trying and I know it's from seeking these things I desire. So whatever that is you desire, whether it's to start your own business, reach your weight loss goal, have a better relationship with your husband,

it's all the same shit you guys, it's all the same. I shouldn't say say shit, right? I should say beautiful laws of the universe, right? It's all the same amazing stuff when we allow ourselves to step away from our ego self and all these rules and all of this stuff we have to do, do, do and allow ourselves to be.

So that's great Addie. How the heck do we do that? That's what we're gonna spend this time going through together. And I'm gonna share my experience with you from my weight loss quest, from leaving my job and heading out on the country and like be in this position now where I'm going to go get a new place and take myself to that next level.

You're gonna watch this this year. That's gonna be uncomfortable. I'm already, I'm uncomfortable just thinking about it. I've been given this little reprieve out here at Kelly's river house, which is just gorgeous, you guys. It's this huge house, a little carriage house, which is where I stay and doing some retreats out here. If you're interested, message me.

So I'll drop the link and information or reach out to me and I'll put you in touch with Kelly. So anyhow, I'm out here. I've been given this little reprieve to really get grounded, right? It's just like the perfect word for me this year.

And as we're headed into, I know I listened to Renee, a bond podcast in her forecast, said, you know, hey we got the mercury to the 18th and then it's gonna be like takeoff time. So I don't know about you guys, but I'm over here like setting the foundation, setting the groundwork and that's what I'm doing with this episode.

I'm setting our groundwork and then next week, boom, like a rocket, we're heading into law one pure potentiality and we're gonna have some fun with that next week. So I'm really excited. A couple more things before I shut down his introduction here. But he talks about, and we share about this in meditation, in the meditation course I teach you about the process of the unmanifest becoming the manifest.

You guys with your mantras out there, the namaha, the unmanifest coming back to the manifest, this is the process where the observer becomes the observer. So we, and this gets a little, this gets a little abstract, so kind of slow down, I'm gonna slow down and bear with me here, right? This is the part where, you know,

the seer becomes the scenery where like I was part of the river this morning and as I was reading this this morning, actually I was brought to tears because I just, just finally getting some of this stuff that I've read and put words to, but it's so different having knowledge and then having the experience and it comes through trying you guys. And we'll be doing that in this experience experiment.

Like taking time to be with nature each day and being like, how could I imagine myself part of that tree? Which I know sounds crazy, right? Like, but if you've done course A Miracles, if you've heard of that, even there's, I know there's exercises in there, but this idea that we're all one and in we're in this exchange with the environment and when you have the experience of it,

it's something you can't deny. But we so often won't even allow ourselves to practice or to try to have the experiment experience because we shut it down that it's crazy or that's woo or what all of those things we tell ourselves so we don't even try it, right? And it's this process where the dreamer manifests the dream and this is where we create those things instantaneously to appear in your life.

So the physical universe is nothing other than the self capital s than the I am than the universe, right? Coming back to experience itself in our spirit, mind and body. And I love this definition he has here, you guys, right? Listen up to this. The source of all creation is divinity or the spirit or your soul, right? We hear this mind,

body, soul and yoga. And this definition I thought was so great. And then the mind, this process of creation in divinity and motion process of creation is divinity and motion or the mind. So us creating, using this intelligence, we're getting to put ourselves in motion. And then the actual motion, the actual object of it is the body. So these three components of our existence here,

the spirit, mind and body or the observer, the process observing and the observed, right? Essentially the same thing. I know that's like deep shit, right? Okay, tune it Next week we're gonna try to make this stuff like so accessible and so that you can experience it because like Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about, you know, we wanna,

we're talking about manifesting things and we wanna talk about this emotional body that is the language of your body, the thoughts being the thoughts of your mind, but also you know, having the knowledge. So we're learning these things, but you gotta have the experience of it to become wise, for it to take for it to be a part of who you are.

So we don't wanna just listen to all the things, we wanna do the things. So it's my goal to give you like a little nugget every week to take with you and practice and say, yeah, maybe it, maybe it's your nugget and maybe it isn't. Maybe you really like it. Maybe you haven't experienced, maybe you don't. So for this week and this opening as we're heading into these seven spiritual laws,

and we'll start with law one next week, but this week I just want you to go be in nature somehow. And if it's freezing where you are and you feel like you can't go outside cuz you're just gonna die or something, go sit at a window and look outside at a tree And just imagine yourself being a part of that tree. Being the tree.

What if, if you were the tree, how would the tree feel? How does it exist? How would you move? When I saw myself in the river this morning, I thought of this, when we are teaching meditation, we talk about drops in the ocean, that each soul is the drop in the ocean of this bigger spirit. And we're all combined spirit.

And so as I picture myself is this little drop in the river just floating along and it was so cool and freeing and I was just dancing and having fun moving through this river. And as I allowed my mind to go and to expand and to picture myself, what if I was just this little.in a river? What would it feel like? What would it experience like and kind of project myself there?

It's really a unique experience and you can, you can have some fun with it you guys, and it takes a little bit, this is how they'll share meditation with kids a lot of times, right? Take 'em in nature and tell them to share, you know, this experience with the tree and you know, thinking about ourselves being one with the universe in that every time you even take a breath,

you're in dynamic exchange with the universe that air coming in and the air going out is part of you, right? I love to think of that. Okay you guys, I hope you're excited for this. If you're not, let me know. No, I'm just kidding. Totally. Don't let me know cause I'm doing it anyway because it's me and I'm a,

I gotta be authentically me and I don't know why, but I'm called to do this with you. So we are going to go on little journeys this year and I am excited to take off with you. So share with everybody you know so they can come on this journey with us as we put into motion applying these spiritual laws to weight loss. I'm gonna relate it a lot to weight loss and my journey,

but also the journey of abundance, which I'm also working on. We have the Witches and Bitches abundance circle, which you are more than welcome to join us and we are having so much fun. We're gonna be doing vision boarding this week and have a couple calls coming up. And then of course the meditation community that I am currently working with Jennifer Pound and my Group Ounce.

And we are working to really build this community out so we can embrace you on your path and not just teach you to meditate, but help you really become a meditator. Help you really make this part of your life. So if you're someone that's done meditation before, you've been curious or you've done it and you just haven't been able to make it a habit,

that's really where a big focus of mine is. And I've gotten my plans to do a workshop on habits of meditation, all this fun stuff. So come and join us, partake in the good stuff. And actually if you do one little thing even every week, you guys take one little action and do something different than you ever did before. By the end of the year you'll have done 52 different things.

Just think if you do one little tiny thing every day and the MEfirst sisterhood on the planner I made, we have a little 1% action item and this is that tiny little thing we do each day. So me firsters, get your little action in for today. Remember, they all add up. And this can be as simple as Googling something like, what the hell is Slayer talking about with the seven spiritual laws of success?

Or Googling where the yoga studio is n near you because you've been curious about going to a restorative yoga session or maybe a paint class or something new and fun and exciting for yourself. Don't just challenge yourself to eat well and exercise and all that stuff you do every year. Challenge yourself to take, go on some new fun adventures. Make it fun this year.
