Addie, be here, AKA Slayer of Namaslayer and we are kicking off 20, 22 together. I can't even believe it's 2022 just seems crazy. Last week for the past couple of weeks, actually,

I had my youngest here from Hawaii on her school break, and we were hanging out with her sister of course, Mini Slayer the past week. And we just had the best time together. I can't even tell you how grateful I am for the relationship with my children and everything I've learned on this path about myself, leading through example, you know, putting myself first and how much my girls have grown because I would have done that.

And that I've put myself first, right? And them seeing what that is truly like and showing up for myself while being able to be the best mom I can possibly be from wherever I am, wherever the location is, and to really be able to touch their lives and make an impact through living mine. It's really caused me to look at beliefs. I have about everything,

about what a family should look like about what a business should look like, what my body should look like. All of those things to question everything we've been taught in our society and world that we just, I mean, grew up thinking, this is the way we do things or here's how we go get jobs. You know, I want to teach my children and help other women do all of us.

Right. I want to just be able to show, we can think about things different ways and create our lives, how ever we want. And it doesn't have to be exactly how we are taught. It looks, and it can still be magnificent. So that brings us to, it doesn't mean I don't miss the heck out of her, right? So as I'm putting her on the plane in,

this will bring us to today's topic as well, but I'm putting it on the plane. And it was the first time I had one of thoughts about my business. As Millie's getting on the plane, getting ready to head back from Hawaii. You know, she texted me later. I had to run. So I didn't cry. I'm like me too.

And I'm walking down the runway on the way back. And I just had the energy come over me. You guys said like the life force energy flood through me, you know, it was a little teary eyed and really just excited. The thought came to me, it's time to make some F and money ad it's time to make some money. And I haven't,

you know, I've been working on abundance all last year and I haven't really had that drive with my business. I think I have been really trying to not hang on to so much of corporate Addie who was very much into making money for other people and herself, that it was like, I was almost afraid of going on that way, that money was this thing that was going to make it.

And I have done so much work through this, this year of appreciating money and what it brings us, these experiences that can bring us. I could have hopped on that plane with Millie and sat there for six more hours of time with my child. I could book a ticket over there. You know, abundance can bring so many things and it was the first time I think I got that.

Why in my gut, you guys, and this is the why we look for in weight loss and any goal. You're pursuing something that is going to drive you to get up over and over and get to that end zone. And it was, you know, I was kind of there with my weight loss to just kind of in a little stagnant place in this gets me into numerology.

Okay. And to the topic of today's podcast, just so you know is going to be about 20, 22 goals goal setting. I'm going to talk about five-year visioning and year planning. I am doing a build the runway workshop this weekend for the sisterhood, all about planning. So I'm going to lay it out here for you guys, my weight loss plan and goal for this year.

And I'm drawing the line in the sand and I'm going to open my book up again. I'm ready to do this publicly again. I've kind of been while I'm sharing my weight and all of this stuff. I haven't been really dedicated to this part of my health goal. I've been focused on a million other things, and it just keeps coming back that until I need to finish this goal,

I still have lessons in this goal that feed into all my other goals, my abundance goals, my business goals, they all work together with this alignment of my body, which I'm measuring with the scale and what, which some other things we're going to talk about as well. So that's what we're going to chat about today. And I'm totally just chatting with you.

I don't have any script today at all. So hang in there with me and let's just have, let's just have fun. I'd love to chat with you about your goals too. I love, love this part of the process and there's nothing I like to do more than to be your believing mirror, to be the one, to hear your goal and say how yeah,

let's do it. Let's light it up, give it, get even crazier. Like how crazy can we get, right? We're not, can we dream even bigger? So as I'm heading into this this week and I had that thought in my head, and then I had a session with my spirit guides and Renee, you know, she, she focuses on abundance,

energy, and happiness and joy in your life, all of those things. So I thought she'd be someone great this year to have on my list to keep checking in with, while I am working on this abundance. Right? So we're talking about this alignment of my body, mind and soul, and that it is all part of what is working together and that the book will come.

The timeline is already set on the book, but perhaps plowing through and finishing this other goal while I'm still dabbling in these others is all right, too. Like, I really kind of pulled my focus there. So here we go, you guys, I am looking this year. I am up from earlier in the year, which by the way, you know,

how many statistics are out there about how we all gain weight in Q4 of the year. And we all really try not to, but it's kind of how it goes. I'm like, well, I'm in a harness, my energy at the beginning and the end of the year because my pit, a coffee business going on, my IRA Vedic dosha types are like when I get to fall,

whatever happens, I'm going to even work my mind more next year and be even more prepared for it. But I'm weighing in around. I weighed in last Sunday at 1 99 0.8, barely under the barrier man. I was like, I was never going over 200 again. And I know I saw two on the scale a couple of times over that holiday break and I have been down to like 180 4 or something.

You guys big deal. It's a number does not define me, does not define you. You know, how much I have grown on my way down from over seeing a three on this scale, like all day long. And if I was still seeing, if I was seeing two 80 and I'm losing 20 pounds, you guys, I still remember at that beginning of my journey,

still feeling so good and fired up in a wanna find that fire again with everything I'm doing. And so I'm setting my heart about it this year, and I'm going to share it all with you guys. And so I'm starting at this 1 99 0.8 and my goal is 1 62 I'm five nine. So that's like the top ish of my weight range. It's somewhere in there sometimes you'll see,

69. I don't know. So 1 62 is my big impossible weight-loss goal, right? Like I don't think I've ever weighed 1 62. So I am 37.8 pounds away from that. And I weigh in on Sunday. So I'll weigh in again on Sunday and I was doing an annual goal with the rest of this. And I thought, you know, maybe that was part of my problem.

Like it's kind of, cause I kind of always feel like, oh, I can catch up with it or whatever. I'm so close to the goal. Now that I'm having that, I'm making it a semi-annual goal. So by the end of June, I will be 1 62 come hell or high water. And it is 1.5, one pounds per week.

Now that is not going to be a linear journey. None of this has been a linear journey. You just heard me tell you, I just went up 14 pounds, whatever big deal. I went down 10 for the year. You know, I've learned so many lessons you guys. And so my focus this year, I am going to do all the things I can for accountability.

So I ask you this, let's say you have your goal set, whether it's a weight loss goal or a business goal, maybe it's a dollar amount. Right? And I think I'll get, I'll do a podcast about my business goals too. Like big, crazy business goals coming up at some point, but I'm going to stick with the health and the weight loss here,

but they do kind of go hand in hand, right? Because the things I am setting up will also impact my business. I decided for accountability. I'm re-engaging my aunt, because we were, she's a human potential coach, Mary Beal Adler. That was on the podcast with me. So I, I said, Hey mayor, I want to put our sessions back in because everybody needs a coach.

And the more coaches I can get the better. So between Mary and then Renee for my abundance, I am going to slay this year and have the support I need personally. So if you don't have a coach, get a coach, I'll be your coach hit me up. PME, email me. You can't find it anywhere else. You kind of gotta hunt me down.

So accountability. And then also I am going to start a blog that goes to my website. I had one a long time ago and then got sidetracked. But that's part of my writing goals too. Right? So I want to start a blog where I just check in weekly with you about what happened with my weight loss journey. And then of course I will have updates on the podcast,

but the podcast is probably going to be a lot about topics and things. I'm learning that blog. I'm going to intend to document this weight loss journey for the next six months. And so make sure you're on the email list for that. If you're not go to Namaslayer dot com and get on the list and make sure you subscribe to it. So it doesn't go to your junk mail and put it in your primary inbox,

or you just might not get my updates. And you know, you want to see that. Of course, I'm going to do photos too. I'll have to do my beginning photos. And I mean, that's still 40 pounds, right? That's going to be a big difference. That's like two sizes. So I'm excited for that. So I'm going to do the blog and the emails.

Again, I've been really bad at my email at emailing everybody. And I really want to start that out because it does help me stay accountable to myself. But it also shares more information for you guys and I can put links in there and things like that and remind you what the podcast is about that week, all those things. So I will be starting that next week.

Good accountability. Right? Where can you set up your accountability, ask yourself that, who can you get in your court to either coach you or be a group with you? I have the added benefit of running a coaching groups in the sisterhood right now. And I got to tell you, I learn from everybody every week and it keeps me accountable as well.

So that's like a win-win for me. Right? And I get even more sisterhood. So I love that. And that is a good, big part of my plan as well. Then I have the young Jetta who will be sharing her journey as well that you have probably heard about here on the podcast. She's been my little, my apprentice, if you,

if you will. So we are John that the line in the sand for her this year too. And that is also going to help me be accountable to, and also help learn how to better guide others on this path. Every time I just learn every single time I help coach somebody. And then I also have my new power habit, which we pick one habit to work each quarter.

So when you do your visioning, like let's say you went and you actually dreamt really big last week, like we talked about and I just finished some five-year plan visioning. So I've got like all these big ideas just bursting in my head. So let's say you went and you did all this big dreaming last week and you've got all these dreams just storming around in your brain.

And now you need to take it down to action, right? This is where we all maybe fall apart a little bit, right? Like we get these dreams and maybe we even write them down at the beginning of the year. And then we just let it go because we don't know how to execute from there. And we don't really know how to do a plan and we don't know how to take it down to a smaller level so we can be successful.

So if you have this vision, like let's say you sat and said five years from now, where, what do I want my life to look like? What do I want to be doing in these areas? And pick five categories we picked for the sisterhood this weekend, I picked, I'll tell you the ones I picked. I've got them right here.

I picked career or professional, or maybe it's like your life purpose goals, mind and soul personal and spiritual growth goals, financial goals, banks, funds, houses, investments, things like that. Body health and fitness schools and relationship goals. So just finished brainstorming about all of these goals. And then I kind of look and say, okay, to be there in five years,

what needs to change? What needs to be different in my life, from where I am now. And then I made a list of each of those, like what needs to happen for me to get there? And then I took it even another level. And I said, what are the smaller things I can do to, to make these bigger things happen?

And then I'm going to take the sisterhood through the process and myself through the process of putting them on a calendar and implementing them. So, but it's not going to be all of them, right? We're going to pick one main goal and one habit that will support that main goal and help get us there. So I have added so many habits over the past four years.

I'm a totally different person because we are our habits, right? We are what we do. And so I've added in so many, I mean, I never meditated or journaled or made plans every day or did yoga every day. I didn't, none of these things I did. And the last quarter I added in a believe new thoughts, which is a thought work worksheet I made up.

And I love that and keeping that in. But I'm adding in a PM assessment, which is also going to include my habit tracker because I've been really bad at tracking my habits. And I want to show this correlation between when I miss a meditation or when I miss this, like being able to look at your habit tracker and have it correlate with all your other health goals is pretty powerful.

And now that I have this aura ring, did I tell you guys about the aura ring already? It's this sleep ring and it sleep ring and doesn't help you go to sleep. Just so you know, in case you were super excited, oh, I need a sleep ring. But what it does do is it tells you your heart rate, variability,

it tells you which can tell you other indicating factors, right? And then it will tell you if you had a restful night's sleep, it gives you a sleep score in a readiness score, basically. And then it tells you all the underlying factors that go in. So you can start to hack your sleep and really have the data. You guys, I ate some ice cream last night.

Yes, I did. Like so you guys are going to get all the true Slayer confessions on the podcast of my weight loss week and how it went down. So I ate some ice cream last night, I got off late coaching calls and I missed my PM meditation. Just like I am preaching to everyone else not to do yes, I did it.

And next thing I know, monkey brains driving to get some ice cream. So we've got some work to do around that one. And the thought that led to it, it was kind of like one of those last supper, thoughts. I think here we go. I'm drawing the line in the sand on the podcast this week. Let's just get one more.

And I let the monkey brain when I had a whole lot of things to create this week. And I'm not feeling very in sync with that. And that's something else for this year that I wanted to tell you guys about. That's kind of exciting. You know, this is a year of it's the year six. So they take 20, 22. If you add them all up together,

it's, it's six in numerology and we're having some fun with numerology this weekend, you can get a free numerology app and you just enter like your birthday. Now I'll tell you what your, what your date is. But I am in a year one, which is really exciting. It's like new opportunities, new beginnings. This is great creative energy. So everything I want to do with the business,

it's like all so wonderful. And then year six, you guys, this is a year after like the tornado comes through. I listened to the heart Alchemist. She was talking about this. This is the year five, which would have been 20, 21 is what kind of like rips and tears, everything apart. And then your six is where you're starting to really nurture it,

put it back together and put all those pieces together. And so, you know, looking at that was exactly my year. And then I was in a year nine on top of it being a five, right? So what year nine means I was finishing. It was like, you're saying goodbye to relationships that don't serve you to habits that don't serve you.

That was totally the end of my year for you guys that are following along on the podcast. Right. I went through that dark night of the soul and the heartbreak, and it was the final suffering of all of those things that I was supposed to let go of. I'm so proud of myself because I made this space for this newness to come in.

And you know, whether you believe in astrology or numerology or something, you guys take a plotted out. Look, it's crazy to me how I can look back over. When I met like partners in my life, businesses like a business moves career moves, like the pattern I laid out was really something else. And so I love this energy of this year and I'm getting this call to get a home.

Like I'm like the adventure part. Like I'm just feeling like I want to be grounded again. And I know I have one more summer. I really want to adventure with Millie and take off and do a bunch of workshops around the country and working on some retreats, Mini Slayer is coming on board to help with that. So I'm so excited. Things are just moving and shaking and happening from all this dreaming,

right? Like what else can I create? What can it look like? And so I was like, you know, I'm really going to manifest a home one, not, not on wheels. I am going to keep the adventure RV. I can, I need a place. That's got a pad for the adventure RV, but I think I really am ready to just have some roots again.

And I'm just so surprised, but I think I just want to take smaller trips now and smaller adventures and maybe do more where I just go straight to the destination. I learned so much RV. I have to tell you, and I love so much of it, but also doing it yourself. It's a lot, you guys, it really is. And setting up and down my workstation and all of those things like to just be grounded.

But of course, I don't want just any old house, right? Like we are manifesting this bad boy. I want to be in a mountain. I want a pool. I have like this list of things I want my home to have. So I'm working on the manifesting of that, which also goes in with this five-year plan of my business. And what's that gonna look like?

And because it all leads back to the financial abundance, tying into it as well. And it being some F in time to make the money yet, right? Like, you know what comes from that? Me helping more people. Do you see how the world works? When I can get out of my own way about my limiting belief, thoughts around whether it's around money or an ideal goal,

weight or whatever. When I get out of my own way, it serves the world. So how can I get out of my way more? And I'm telling you, this is in the goal through my body. You are going to see me rise up and it's going to be through this torment. No, it's totally get it. It's not going to be torment.

Okay. You guys know me well enough. There might be a little torment in it, but with a heart full of joy and love and laughter, right? Cause it's also must be fun while I'm tormenting myself figuring out why I'm blocking myself. Or I know, I know how to lose weight. You guys. I know what to do. And I know what is stopping me.

So drawing the line in the sand with the wine wench, cause she always likes to Curry me off the side. That was just, that's just done. I can't even tell you how little emotion I have around it. Now it's just severed. It's just gone. It's like, there's zero energy. Even when I used to talk about wine before I sit my monkey brain and go,

oh, it's like the Ben and Jerry's still right. So I need to get to that point with the sugar where it's severed too. But it's more than that. You guys, it's more than these hormones in my body and all of this going on. It's the listening to my heart, listening to this intuition within me because when I don't just stop and be still and connect with source,

I go off the rails. And so what this means is heading to my path to this 1 62, I'm going to be more and more connected to source. And it's going to be a big part of this journey going down. I had a client asked me yesterday about the connection between weight loss and meditation and really what exactly was it for me? And I will do,

I need to do a separate podcast on that at some point, then I know I have one of them spirituality and weight loss, but really it was hard for me to quantify, right? I mean, how do you, how do you quantify meditation leading to weight loss? I can tell you I started meditating and lost 20 pounds from meditating. I didn't find like the mind work and all of that until a month after I had learned meditation,

I was already down 20 pounds. I had added that meditation in and what had happened is in the afternoon, instead of going to the candy jar, right? I'm meditating, I'm taking a break I needed from work. Instead of putting things in my face, I just naturally started to feel better. You just have this, you get to this place where your body goes back to homeostasis.

So it reverses the effects of stress. And don't downplay how powerful that is in your eating urges. How many times we eat from stress from our body being uncomfortable. It was so much for me. I can tell you that because I ate so much of my anxiety. So the meditation being key with that, but also I can tell you every day it can be correlated and this is why I'm going to be sure to do my habit tracker this time,

when I miss a PM meditation, I don't eat well that night I don't sleep as well. It just affects all my other data points. I'm also going to track, I'm doing a Google doc for this, and I think I'm going to put it up on a shared drive and just like give, I don't know, I gotta make sure I can protect it to give everyone access.

But I made kind of a fun little spreadsheet. I'm going to attract my aura ring data. I'm going to track all of these things. So if you're on my email list, you'll probably be getting a link to this over the next week or so. So you can kind of keep track with me and my, and my notes. If that's interesting to you.

I know when I'm on my weight loss journey, I love to watch other people's journeys. So I'm hoping that's of interest to you guys and to see what I'm learning and what I'm going through. Because a lot of it's the same skills I've been doing. And I know it all comes from a thought, but you also hit the point where you're like,

okay, I see the thought. And then I write about the thought. And now it's like, you got to take action on the thought, who are you going to become to really work that future self vision? And then, you know how I have this thing about the five careers. This is a Julia Cameron exercise. If you haven't done this yet,

do it. If you were to die and get reborn and you'd pick five careers, you could come back at what would they be? And mine at the beginning. And this is off the top of my head. So it was author yoga, teacher and TV, personality speaker, and something else I've already done. But anyhow, there, I just was in yoga.

And last year I was talking about going to yoga teacher training and more to like move myself through to that next level with my practice, but all, but I think I can do that in classes too. But also I want to marry the physical practice of yoga with some of the future self stuff I teach and things like that. I just think that would be amazing because I think there's so much value to the physical practice of yoga.

And it also feels untouchable to so many people just like meditation feels that way. So it's like my mission to try to bring these things that bring us back to self a little bit less, you know, I don't know untouchable or singing them. Like I can't sit in a pretzel. It's not about being in a pretzel man. Sometimes I just lay there yoga nidra,

you just lay on your back. It's a wonderful go to restorative, put your legs up the wall. I mean, there's so many different ways and yet we can kind of, you know, shy away. We see the hordes of Lulu lemon clad, you know, size zeros walking in. And they would think nothing of you being next to them,

by the way, any Yogi worth their salt that I know anyhow. Okay. You guys. So that is the game plan for the new year. I hope you're excited to kick it off with me. So my game plan going forward with the podcast is I am going to update you on my goal. It's not going to be talking about my goal the entire time like we did today.

So I'm going to update you on my goal. And I'm going to tell you about some of these strategies I've identified on the way, right? I'm doing my new Viome test. So I'm going to be talking about gut health more. I am going to be talking about organization because that was big for the year six. This is like the time to clear it out,

get the clutter out. So I'll be doing that as a topic in our sisterhood this month. And we're going to be doing a challenge around that. So we're going to talk about that and getting it, getting the energy cleared out too. I like I'm getting set. Like I really want to see myself. I want to learn to tie this intention with the energy more and more.

And I'm listening to Dr. Joe Dispenza right now. I am doing his online course and I want to go to one of his retreats. It's going to be a big impact on me this year. I want to take that scientific conversation he has about the spiritual woo I've learned. And I want to marry all of that together with what I'm creating. So that's exciting.

I love you guys. We got to learn what are you learning this year? Who are you going to be accountable to? What groups are you in? Do you have groups? Can you reach out and join one? Can you make one with some friends, so powerful to do this with other people and have accountability for yourself. You do not need to do this alone.
