Chatting with Mac: Men's Issue and Counseling
Melinda Chats
Mac shifted his focus from helping communities to helping individuals, and is now licensed as an LPC-Associate after completing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at Dallas. Mac takes his lifetime of learning, both in and out of academia, and uses it to form a broad understanding of human life, human nature, and the systems that bind us together. He believes that you are the expert on your own lived experience. Mac takes a humanistic point of view, and is neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ supporting, identity affirming, culture affirming, sex-positive, kink-friendly, polyamory and non-monogamy supporting, and anti-oppression.

Just a quick note: this show is for education and conversation. It isn’t therapy, and it’s not a substitute for therapy. Sometimes I’ll have therapists and other professionals on the show, but this still isn’t personal clinical care. If you need support, please reach out to a licensed professional in your area. And if you’re in crisis or there’s an emergency, contact your local emergency services right away.
