The salvation of God is the life of his Son made manifest in his people. Jesus lives in us. And so his way breaks out among us. The Apostle Paul had seen this salvation in the Corinthian Christians before. And he told of it to all who would listen. What's more, his previous witness of Christ in the Corinthians filled him with confidence that yet another manifestation was close at hand. He knew of their readiness to live in the Son. So too our church. We have seen Jesus alive in our midst. There is no denying it, nor setting it aside. He has vindicated his promise of new life in us. And we cannot pretend otherwise. Make ready therefore. A north wind will blow again.
