The Red Death is ravaging the land, leaving its blood mark on great numbers of dead. But Prince Prospero has locked himself and a group of specially selected ‘friends’ in a fortified abbey to avoid the contagion. Amongst them is the nobleman Eduardo and his young wife, Lenore. Prospero has been driven wild by lust for the beautiful woman and is determined to have her. Thus far, the couple have avoided this calamity, but the net is closing.
