Sir Terry Leahy, is one of Britain’s most successful business leaders. Under his 14 years of leadership, Tesco went from the number 3 retailer in the UK to number 3 in the world. He also went on to write a book the title of which is “Management in Ten Words” it outlines the management philosophy which helped him navigate that journey.
 
We discuss how far employee wellbeing as a concept for management has developed since he started at Tesco in the late seventies, whilst at the same time discussing the impact of values on employee wellbeing.
