If you're at the end of your contract life span, you'll have to close out your sales in the Sales Reporting Portal (SRP). As a one time process, it can seem intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. Hop into the episode to get a better understanding of what you need to do.

Welcome to GSA 101 brought to you by Elevate GSA: where we turn GOVSPEAK into a language YOU speak. My name is Hannah Struss and I have Collin Hartsell here with me and we are going to be talking about how to handle close out sales for an expired contract.
If you are at the end of your contract life span, but still have an open GSA task order that extends beyond your expiration date- don’t panic! You officially have 60 months past your contract expiration date to keep reporting sales on that contract in the sales portal. Yes, that means sales through an expired contract still count! And you still owe that Industrial Funding Fee which is .75% of all sales done through your contract.
These sales should be designated as “close out sales” when doing your reporting. If you were unaware that you should still be reporting these sales and paying the IFF to GSA, then you will need to call the help desk to gain access to the sales reporting portal again for the expired contract.
The GSA help desk can be reached at: 1-877-495-4849
We will also link the sales reporting portal down below! The ideal circumstance would be to submit for a new proposal at least 3 years before your current contract expires. That way there is no lapse in coverage and you don’t have to fuss about inside the portal anymore than you need to!
As always if you have any questions of if you’d like direct support with your contract please feel free to reach out at podcast@elevategsa.com.
Thanks for listening!
