Many Christian pastors have been indoctrinated to believe the Jews were against Yeshua and when I pose anything that contradicts their doctrine of hate, they flatly reject what I am saying and say things like, "No they did not follow God" or similar mistruths. It is true that not all Jews followed God the way they should have, but that does not mean that all Jews did not follow God the way they should have. For example, Christians will admit that they sin at times. Does that mean all Christians are bad?

In Matthew 12, we should probably think of Yeshua giving the Jews there a lesson on to how to keep the Sabbath properly or as Yeshua says, with mercy. It is not a blanket mercy as some believe in Christianity, but it is mercy towards those who are not breaking God's commandments. I often tell people that Yeshua was teaching them how to keep the Torah, but I often do not have the time to thoroughly explain myself. Yeshua refers to Hosea 6:6 NKJV which says, "For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings."
