Think on the portions of the weekly Torah portions so we can consider what it is teaching us. People have used the scriptures to help them have direction, purpose, success, enjoyment, satisfaction, good relationships, and so much more. Also, have the humility and desire to apply the Torah to real life. Do not let worldly desires or bad attitudes keep us from following God properly. Keep God's good commandments. Do what is sensible and do not make up commandments that do not apply. Just like most things in life require we properly prepare, use good sense in all we do. Do not make up commandments with all kinds of man-made ideals, concepts, or extra poorly thought-out commands. Instead, follow the commandments that God gave us through Moshe.
