We close our series on 2 Timothy by exploring the metaphor Paul masterfully uses in chapter four of a marathon race. He wants Timothy (and us) to take seriously the task of being people that struggle forward together and that carry each other's burdens. While spiritual junk food, division, politics, and comparison of sin all threaten to break our unity - Paul offers us a better way to run.
