Hope on the Homefront
If you're a military wife looking to grow your faith and long to connect with women who "get it", look no further. Hosted by the co-founders of Homefront Heroes Ministries, where we understand the struggles that come with holding down the Homefront, Hope on Homefront was created to bring you Biblical truth and encouragement from women who've been there.
Through this podcast you'll be encouraged with real life, honest conversations that help you:
Stand confident in your relationship with Jesus through the chaos of military life
Grow your understanding of God's Word and His character
Embrace your life as a military wife with confidence and joy
Remember you're not alone and there is no such thing as perfection
Joy is possible in your military journey and as long as we're here, you're never alone. We are jumping in the trenches to encourage you when you're struggling, help you grow in your faith and support you through military life. We pray we can be your "home away from home".

Hope on the Homefront
Triggers: Being quick to listen and slow to speak when we're overwhelmed
Tension in your shoulders, snapping at the kids, a sense of being “over it”, hiding in your phone. We’ve been there, military wife. You’re overwhelmed and your body feels it and your family can sense it. But, there is hope. God did not intend for you to be in a state of constant stress and anxiousness.
On our latest episode of Hope on the Homefront we get to chat with fellow military wife, Rachel Yorgey, an HFH volunteer, as she talks with Co-founder April Griffin about triggers. What are they? Where do they come from? How do we handle them?
As believers in Christ, the way we deal with our triggers should look radically different from those that have no hope in the Lord. That is a tall order, and one we cannot do it on our own accord. We must invite God in to reveal where we are struggling, why we are struggling and understand the refuge He is in times of stress.
We know you’ll be encouraged by this conversation about military life, our spouses, and our kids. Plus, you’ll hear some practical ways we’ve learned to respond to these triggers in Biblical way rather than just reacting to them in a way we’ll regret later.
