Maddie: Hey listeners, welcome for the last time back to the Saving Delaware History Podcast. This is Madeline Messer, and as your host I would like to thank you for continually listening to every new episode and even going back to old episodes. It’s been lovely to learn more about Delaware history myself and to be able to spread that information to what is now an international audience. Mrs. Desiree May and the Director of Historical and Cultural Affairs, Tim Slavin, deserve my especial appreciation for employing a teenager in a pandemic and allowing me this opportunity to continue meeting people (virtually, of course) and create meaningful content that can always be used to promote Delaware’s history.

As this is our last episode, I would like to leave you with two thoughts: One, a simple reminder that you can still access our podcast on all the usual sites (Google, Spotify, Apple, Buzzsprout, etcetera) and may soon be able to find them on the official HCA website, history.delaware.gov. And as promised, some episodes will be uploaded retroactively to account for the gap in our production.

Secondly, I’d like to notify you of the creation of the podcast “After the Canary Song,” a podcast hosted by Nicole at the Johnson Victrola Museum, which was covered in one of The Saving Delaware History Podcast’s first episodes. I’ll include a link where you can find it in the description: Hope you all enjoy the continuation of Delaware history!

Thanks for listening.
