🤖 What happens when I hand the questions over to artificial intelligence—and let the conversation go wherever it goes?

This episode of The Kathie Owen Perspective is a little different.

An AI-generated interviewer named Grace asks the questions. I answer them.

But this isn't really an episode about AI.

It's about human patterns under pressure—and why the patterns operating beneath the surface can influence what we do before we're even aware of them.

🧠 We explore questions like:

  •  Why does pressure reveal parts of us we don't always see?
  •  Why am I so fascinated by professional athletes?
  •  What can decades in fitness teach us about psychology and leadership?
  •  Do I analyze everyone I meet? 😂
  •  Why can pattern recognition become dangerous when observation turns into certainty?
  •  What does Reality Transurfing teach us about non-attachment and control?
  •  Why is the pause so uncomfortable—and so powerful?
  •  What can dreams reveal about the patterns we're processing?
  •  How do I actually use ChatGPT as a thinking partner?
  •  Can AI make us more creative instead of less?
  •  What is invisible counsel, and how do my mentors Cintia and Joseph Rodriguez influence the way I think?
  •  And after decades of studying people, what am I still trying to understand?

We also talk sports.

Professional sports fascinate me because sports compress pressure. A pitcher can perform the same motion thousands of times, but put the bases loaded, two outs, and a full count behind it—and suddenly we're watching psychology unfold in real time.

The same thing happens in leadership, business, relationships, M&A, succession, and major life transitions.

Pressure doesn't always create the pattern. Sometimes pressure reveals it.

🌊 We also go deeper into Reality Transurfing by Vadim Zeland, especially non-attachment, uncertainty, importance, control, and leaving room for possibilities we haven't seen yet.

One of the biggest lessons I'm learning?

Observation does not create obligation.

Seeing a pattern doesn't mean I have to fix it.

Recognizing a pattern doesn't mean I know exactly what will happen next.

And being uncertain doesn't mean I need to manufacture certainty just to make myself feel safer.

✨ Sometimes the most powerful answer is:

I don't know yet.

And sometimes curiosity gives us access to possibilities certainty would have caused us to miss.

🎧 Listen to the full episode and then ask yourself:

What pattern becomes louder in you when pressure rises?

And perhaps an even bigger question:

What are you trying so hard to figure out that you may be leaving no room for what you haven't seen yet?

If you're a founder, executive, leadership team, or organization navigating growth, succession, M&A, or another high-stakes transition, the visible problem may not be the whole problem.

My consulting work explores the human patterns underneath the pressure—the patterns that can quietly influence communication, trust, leadership, decisions, and what happens next.

You don't need to know what kind of engagement you need before we talk. We begin with a conversation, look at what's actually happening, and determine whether I can be of service.

Pressure doesn't define us. It reveals the patterns we've yet to observe.
