SPEAKER_01

Hello, everybody. Welcome to Too Much TV. Today we're doing the first three episodes of season five of The Boys, the final season of The Boys. And I think I don't know about you, Jeff. I think it's I think it's time to be done. Don't you think?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah? Yes. Yes.

SPEAKER_00

I I think I mean I love the show. And I would one of my biggest compliments for them is their creativity, like the writing. They are they come up with some of the most creative scenes and concepts, I think, of almost any show out there. I don't know if you agree, but they are Yeah, I'd agree. It's demented. It is, it really is. But I think even for them, it gets hard to continue coming up with sort of. And and how many times can we sort of have the same s arc, story arc, like repeated, you know? Does that you know what I'm trying to say? Like it feels like, okay, yep, and we're gonna we're gonna come out at this a new angle trying to fight Homelander and and solve this. I don't know. It just feels like the same sort of events play out each time.

SPEAKER_01

I think five seasons for a show like this is perfect. I really do. I think it's gonna end. I think it's gonna end very well. I didn't I don't know if you know this. It's based on a comic book series. Did you know that? I think you may have told me that actually.

SPEAKER_00

Probably you would be the main person to tell me that.

SPEAKER_01

Thanks. Uh and I I never read it, but what I've heard of it, I've seen like, you know, you go on YouTube and you get those shorts and you see like clips of it and it's like explaining what happened, whatever. And the I think the the comics are even more depraved than this. That's impressive. So the the boy, I mean, how would you describe what the boys is for for someone who doesn't know like what is it? It's like a superhero, it's like fucked up superheroes. Is that a good way of putting it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think you and I have when we talked about it in the past, we said it's the depiction of how superheroes like would actually be in the real world. Like you get a lot of um superheroes represented in great. I mean, Marvel is is fantastic, and I love a lot of those movies. Yeah, very fun. Um, and DC, all that, like you get a lot of different versions of superheroes that we most people are pretty familiar with. And I think the boys shows what it would probably actually really look like in real life if we really did have soups. Because they're a ton of them would not be good people.

SPEAKER_01

No, it's very corporate, it's very political, yeah, and it's all fake. Yeah. I mean, the superhero powers are real, but how they behave, it's it's it's like I remember like in season one, they had those like planned saves where it was like they don't even do any superheroing. I mean, they don't do any superheroing at all. Like if you think about it and watch the whole show, they're never helping anybody. Not a single person is being helped.

SPEAKER_00

Like entirely just them helping their respective groups. Like, okay, we need to save Huey. Like, and and so we're just gonna like go for broke, you know, saving Huey or saving whichever one of them is in trouble. Like, yeah, and it, you know, bombs away. Who cares? What I mean, I will say, um uh A-Train. If we're gonna jump into Great Arc. Great arc. Yeah, if we're gonna jump into saving people, I think A-Train, um, that was a cool sort of full circle moment where um Oh well, great homage, right?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Where he he he avoids killing someone when he's running at super speed, which is a complete 180 from the very first episode. The first ten minutes of the first episode where he runs through Huey's girlfriend and she explodes, but he but then he dies. It it's like it's like, damn, dude. Like, no, that was fantastic. And that chase with Homelander through the woods was terrifying. Oh yeah, dude.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah. Because I love, I mean, they st I shouldn't say they stole it. The best way to show somebody who has super speed powers is to show everyone else moving very slowly. It's a really cool shot. Like, that's what else are they gonna do? X-Men did it, and what's it called? Uh DC did it, I think. Like Justice League. Yeah. Like, yep, but I get it. It's the coolest way to do it. I so I did I'm not really knocking them for that. Um and then whenever you see the super speed, like the hero with super speed, their perspective, and someone else is moving like at similar, it makes it that much scarier because it's like, okay, the world usually is moving so slow for them, and then a homelander is on his ass, like yeah, like shooting at him. And I mean horrifying. Horrifying, yeah. I I agree. But it was intense and it was awesome. Uh, I didn't like seeing A Train go because A Train was awesome by the end.

SPEAKER_01

Well, yeah, he but he was an awful guy in the first season. Oh, yeah. Now he's oh, a total dick. But he's the finally the one he he realized this is not good. And he also tells Homelander to his face, I don't know what I was so afraid of, man.

SPEAKER_00

Bro, that was the best. That was the I loved, I mean, if he had to go, going out like that was awesome because that's the kind of shit that like chips away at Homelander, and you can't like that will stick with him, you know, because of the kind of character Homelander is. Like, that's I loved that. If he can't, he knows he's gonna die, take one more shot like that, and I loved it.

SPEAKER_01

I mean Can we can we talk about Homelander a little bit, actually? Yeah, you love it, actually. I want your opinion on this. Uh okay, love is a strong word, Jeff. No, you come on. I think, and I and I want your opinion on this. I think Homelander will probably go down as one of the top five most iconic villains ever. Like, am I wrong there?

SPEAKER_00

I think maybe I maybe iconic or or or just a good villain. I mean, yeah, he is. I I agree. He is he is an incredible villain. Like he And he's also really complicated. Right. That's what's that's what's so impressive, is it you can literally go from one scene where he's making you laugh, like he cracks you up. Maybe he's being weird, but like it's a hilarious scene. And then 10 minutes later, you have to almost look away from the screen because he's being so fucking awful, right?

SPEAKER_01

Like Are you annoyed by how much they're making Homelander to be Trump? Oh.

SPEAKER_00

No, I wouldn't say annoyed. I think the boys is intentionally in your face about some of that political stuff, almost to the point of being comical. Like it it but it's still to the point, dude. It's it's fucking hilarious. Yeah, no, I mean that's what I mean. Yeah. It's so it's so in your face, it's so on the nose that it's just like, all right, yeah, you got your point across. Like it's it's good. It's good.

SPEAKER_01

So we we just watched the first three episodes of the fifth season, and in the third episode, that you know, he uh also, by the way, Homelander is having severe mental health problems right now. He is losing his mind. And there's a scene where he's looking and it's just hilarious. He has a massive American flag in his apartment. It it's also I'm not kidding. When I and you know, I I think it's two stories tall. That's how big it is. But he has this like psychotic break, and he he sees the heaven, like the pearly gates, and and what's her name from season one comes down as an angel. Yeah, she's like, My sweet boy, my my baby boy. It's so strange. But then, dude, so that episode premiered last Wednesday, and then Trump posted a picture of himself as Jesus the next day. Am I wrong? You can't make it up, dude. No, you cannot make it up. And then also they have like they have the ice raids, but it's like superhero raids.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Yeah, they raided another Starlight camp. Yeah, it's like no, it's the it's just it's step for step. Like, that's what I'm saying. It's so in your face.

SPEAKER_01

It's just it's just sometimes it's so good, but it sometimes makes me wonder. Like, I don't know, a couple years ago, I think maybe season three or four, apparently, like the boys is very popular with the political right. So that's what I heard. And then around season three and four, they were like, wait, wait a second. Yeah. And I was like, I I was I dude, I laugh my ass off when I heard that. Because it's like, dude, it's the whole time. I don't understand how you can watch this and not see yourself, not see, get it, not see yourself. I just uh anyway, anyway, but oh my god, yeah, Homelander is an incredible villain, and it is funny. Some people are annoyed about how he is Trump, but then I'm like, guys, it's it's good. I would be pissed off if it was a bad sort of rendition of Trump, but it's actually because it it isn't directly Trump. It it's definitely just like echoing Trump's sort of his vibe, I guess. Sure. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I think uh God that scene that and that is what I was saying. Like, you can be laughing. That scene with where he's having the vision, and what is she? I think she says, I have it in my notes here. I think she says, Why should Jesus be more loved than you? Oh my god. It was incredible. And then she she whips her tits out and then there's like blinding light, remember that?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the blinding light. I mean, dude, listen, man, whenever I see a pair of tits, it's the same thing. But oh my God, whatever.

SPEAKER_00

And then I but but that's why the boys is is so well done because then they cut to like what's actually like they show him at the end, and it's just him kneeling in the middle of his room like a psychopath.

SPEAKER_01

I mean But he's also going like he's like, ah so I think I I think what they didn't show was that he is envisioning her breast milk being sprayed all over her. Some of it like showering over him. Yeah. Dude, talk uh uh I mean we could do a whole episode just on Homelander, but the breast milk thing has got to be one of the funniest gags I have ever seen.

SPEAKER_00

Bro, the scene with the bath, the bath of breast milk. Wow, and then he drinks it too. There's like that's what I'm saying. They are so creative and so good. Yeah, it's it's amazing. But that's what I'm saying. Like that those scenes happen, and you're like, I was just laughing my ass off. It was hilarious and and amazing. And then, like, what, 10, 20 minutes later, he's beating the crap out of his, out of this, his son. Ryan, yeah. Yeah, right. It's just like, and it's hard. I mean, it's a brutal scene, but that's why the boys is so incredible because it can make you laugh, and five minutes later, your stomach can be sick because of something you watch.

SPEAKER_01

Like it's just it's almost like a sad laugh for me, though, because it's like the parody is so strong, and it's so on the nose that I'm like, they they do like TikTok commercials and ad advertisements. It's just so on the nose of what's happening now where I'm laughing because it's it's good, it's very funny, but at the same time, it's like, oh fuck, dude, this is pretty, this is pretty close. But and I mean, I think that's probably then why the scenes with Homelander being a fucking psycho in the bath of milk. That's why those are so funny. Yeah. And did you catch the bit in the first episode where he's like, um, he's like, You never told me this guy's name was Mother's Milk, and he like licks his lips. Have you did you see that part?

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh. I mean, I remember what the scene you're talking about. I didn't see him lick his lips though, and that's hilarious.

SPEAKER_01

Like I should have this. He just does a quick little bit. I'm gonna go rewatch that. I'm gonna go rewatch that scene. Yeah. And it's just like, and he's just like looking at Butcher. It it's it's is he angry or is he horny? And I don't know. Oh, yeah. Probably a mix of both. Probably a mix of both. Absolutely a mix of both. Um But uh all right, let's move on to the You want to talk about who we were talking about before?

SPEAKER_00

Before we started recording?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

The deep The Deep? The Deep. Oh, the I if you were gonna ask me, I didn't know if you would do this at some point in the episode, but I'm gonna jump ahead of you anyway. If you were gonna ask me who my favorite character is, it's still the deep. Oh, it's the deep?

SPEAKER_01

Um The Deep is funny as hell.

SPEAKER_00

I laugh at almost every single scene that Deep The Deep is on the screen. And like talking about Chase Crawford, right? Yes. Oh, you're so right. Yeah, he's um I mean it's just he plays the part so well, and he has this like talking about doing like parody, the the the the podcast that he's doing in the beginning of this season, the bro. Yeah, like his delivery on some of those lines, even just saying things like bro, and and and using the same like uh lingo or vernacular that like like kids today use, like yeah, using like saying like no cap or on god when he's talking to them, like no cap on god, bro. And he does it with a straight face, and the delivery, it breaks me every time, dude. He does it with a straight face, and he's also he's so serious about it.

SPEAKER_01

That's that's what I mean. That's what I mean. Yeah, he's he's the the winning the winning scene is when he's like sunning his balls. Bro, yeah. I've heard that that's a thing now where there are some men who go in their backyard and they just you know show their taint, their taint to the sky, and it's like okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, this I remember hearing about it like I don't want to say it was 10 years ago, but it was at least five years ago, and I think it was like it it's cut it's come and gone, like it's it's been a trend that people, some people follow. And so it it is funny about it. Yeah, the deep picked up. I love that it's the deep doing it, and the but that's that's the beauty of the boys. The shot where it's it because it's a close-up on his face, right? And then it zooms out as he's talking about it to this ridiculous pose with these guys' legs, but that's so well done. That killed me. I was I was dying, man.

SPEAKER_01

That was a great season last season or the season before where he has that love affair with the octopus. The octopus, yeah, man. So funny. It's so funny, man. But again, it's so twisted. It is the show is so twisted. Yeah. Everything is like just so absurd and bizarre. I would recommend if anyone hasn't seen The Boys, try the first episode. And if you can't do that, try the first the whole first episode. But if you can't do it, don't watch anymore. Because some of it can get some of it can get really, really brutal. Remember Hero Gasm?

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, dude. Yeah. I mean, there are there have like I I would consider myself pretty good at like handling gore or you're not a prude. No. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, but there have even been scenes in The Boys where I'm like, dang, like it takes a second to process what just what you just saw on the screen. I mean, talk about this. If we're going to with even just examples from this season, a dude whose dick is his superpower, who's like the massive snake cock that he's got that he uses and fights and all kinds of shit. He literally dies by getting choked out by his own dick.

SPEAKER_01

By his own dick. Yeah, dude.

SPEAKER_00

Think about like if you and a hardcore didn't see the boys are like the boys didn't exist, right? Imagine that sentence being said. Like how, like, that's what I'm saying about how creative they are. That's a concept that I don't even know if it could ever form in my head. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

Like, but dude, I wonder, I wonder if they are like sitting around the writer's room and are like, all right, guys, we're all gonna take some psychedelics and we're gonna think of like some fucked up superhero stuff and then just see what lands. What if because well, I think it's interesting because that then works with the Gen V. Not Gen V, sorry, that's the show. The the um what's the name of the the stuff that they inject in them? The formula V? Compound V, yes. Thank you, Jeff. Sorry. The compound V that they get is always like you don't know what's gonna happen to you. You don't know what powers you're gonna get. I mean, this last episode there was a guy who was just a volcano. Oh, yeah. What was his name? Rockhard.

SPEAKER_00

Rockhard with layers of his own volcanic cum that's yeah, dude.

SPEAKER_01

It's it's it's pretty sensitive. That's what I'm saying, dude. There's it's insane.

SPEAKER_00

They're amazing.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Do you think it's too much sometimes? I don't, but I I feel like someone who's sensitive to this sort of stuff would be like, this is disgusting.

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah, I mean, you and I aren't the right people to say this because I think you and like it. That's what I'm saying. You and I both enjoy how crazy it can get, but there I'm sure that people have tried watching the boys and it was too much for them because they're just-I mean, there's just scenes like that where it's like, what the fuck am I even watching?

SPEAKER_01

You know, dude. I like I like when I watch something, I like to be surprised. And the older I get, the less surprised I get. So watching something like the boys is so surprising still. Um, but yeah, you they use the compound V, and whatever superpowers you get, it's just what you get. And that guy with the huge dick got a huge dick. And like it, it's not you can't like pick them, I guess, is what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_00

Right. No, yeah. Um, what is her name? Is it Ashley? Ashley, who got like the thing on the back of her head like that? Voldemort? Yes, she at the Voldemort. She has that's her superpower, is this Voldemort tumor?

SPEAKER_01

I think it's a separate personality talking to herself, and she's the vice president. Dude, again, this is another like thing with the meta aspect of the show, is that the pre the the United States government is completely compromised by superheroes. Like Vaught, the company running the superhero people, they are in charge of the country, not the president. Remember, the president was in the meeting with the seven, and he's like, hey, Steve, go get this man on Manhattan.

SPEAKER_00

Go make him a drink. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And that's the president of the United States. It kind of reminded me, you watched Succession, didn't you? Yeah. Where he gets the call from the president on the line, and just sits there for about 30 seconds waiting, just knowing he has the president on the line. I mean, Succession was a very serious show. And I guess the boys. Okay. The boys is serious, but also very not serious at the same time.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say. Like, the boys has serious moments for sure, but I yeah, I would not call it an overall serious show. Um, because it's so ridiculous for our, you know, at least half the time, if not more than that. But anyway, you're you're right. There are weird, like it's it's funny to see that power dynamic, um, but it is it's a it's a cool representation of it in the show. Um I don't know, there's a couple other like scenes or I guess characters that I wanted to ask you about, and that's that scene with the president leads right into it because uh Soldier Boy, right? That's I love dad. Do you like him? I was gonna ask your opinion on him as a character.

SPEAKER_01

I think he's funny as hell. He I I his like he he's a boomer. Yeah. Or he might even be old. No, he's a boomer. I think boomers right. I think because it was right after the second world war they were doing because the whole Vaught, they do yeah, okay, dude. Yeah. Vaught is an like a like it was a German company run by the Nazis, and they did all of those tests during the Holocaust for the early Compound V. And then when Germany was losing, VOD was switched over to the Allies, and then the United States government kind of bought Compound V or figured out how to use it. And he Soldier Boy is one of the earliest ones. I love that his name is Soldier Boy, like that alone. I actually think all of the names of the superheroes are perfect because Soldier Boy is just a bastardization of Captain America.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

He's also definitely not a boy, and also I think it's funny. Remember, there was that rapper a couple like 20 years ago, Soldier Boy? Yeah, yeah, of course. I wonder, I don't remember exactly when the comics were made, but I wonder if it was around that time and they thought that would be a funny name. But no, Soldier Boy, I think he is hilarious. I actually thought he was dead after the second episode. Did you? I really thought they were gonna kill him. I thought that would be awesome. I was like, shit, man, they're really killing people.

SPEAKER_00

I think you're right. It would have been cool because it like I didn't expect it. I I figured he was still alive, honestly, just but that's just because I don't know. I never trust deaths in shows. Like I feel like everyone has always tried to do that. Especially superhero shows. Yeah, especially superhero shows. But um, with him, it would have been a wild way to do it because it would have just been so like you came back for all of 30 seconds and then it's just dead. And it's like, but I think they're gonna probably do some of that kind of stuff as we I mean, this is the last season, right?

SPEAKER_01

So we're I really I think that so I like these first three episodes. Like I thought they were they were good, especially episode one. I thought episode one was really good, and and uh two and three were good too, but it's like they're just getting there, they're slowly reaching that point. I think the last probably three episodes are gonna be incredibly brutal.

SPEAKER_00

Do you know how many are there supposed to be total in the season? Eight episodes. Eight episodes? Okay, nice. Yeah, I think hold on, let me let me let me double check that.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

I'm pretty sure.

SPEAKER_00

While you're looking, another kind of fun exercise I wanted to do with you as we get to the end here. Um I wanted to know who you think is gonna live at the end. Since we're since we're since we have this ahead of us. I was gonna ask you who was gonna die. Oh, really? Okay, so yeah, so yeah, I'm I'm taking the approach that I think a lot of people are gonna die. So I don't know almost most people are gonna die. Okay, yeah. So that's why I was wondering who you think who would be like your lock that will make it. You think like Huey is gonna make it?

SPEAKER_01

I think Huey is gonna make it. I I mean I hope. Huey's gonna Yeah, eight episodes. Um I think of the boys, I think the highest chance of survival is Huey and and MM. Oh, I think those are the two that I think are gonna make it, and maybe Starlight is gonna make it.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I wasn't sure about her.

SPEAKER_01

She's a she's a coin flip for me. I think everyone else is dead. I kind of think so. I'm with you. I I think, yeah, I think Butcher's gone. Butcher's gone.

SPEAKER_00

Like, oh dude, butcher's the easy butcher, like lock it in. If we were betting, lock it in. Butcher's done. Like there's zero chance that Butcher makes it.

SPEAKER_01

Zero. I think Frenchie and Kimiko are both gone too.

SPEAKER_00

They maybe seem like tragic, tragic sort of timeline or storyline with them. Yeah. I gotta admit though, I don't really care.

SPEAKER_01

Like I like him.

SPEAKER_00

Weird now that she talks, huh? Did talking kind of ruin her character? Not I mean, obviously I still love the like love her in the show, but it's like, I don't know. I liked the sort of element where she couldn't.

SPEAKER_01

I've seen me too, and I do like it when they go back and do sign language sometimes. I like that a lot. Yeah, that's cool. They still got it. But uh no, I think it's fine. I think it's funny that she learned to talk through TikTok. I think that's hilarious.

SPEAKER_00

That part is fun. I mean, the way she talks is like when I watch, I st it still almost seems like dubbed to me because it's like you don't talk like but it's partly because of what she's saying. She does kind of talk like a like TikTok. Like she just says ridiculous stuff and has almost no filter.

SPEAKER_01

I think some of her lines fall a little flat because they're they're they're just they're listening I don't mind if a character says something crass, but if it's just crass for no reason, yeah, there's like because like Soldier Boy is super like crude and crass. But the jokes he makes are fucking hilarious. Yeah. Like it it it's like that good lady had a bush like a Pomeranian. Like that is funny, it's just ridiculous left field stuff. Yeah. But but Kimiko sometimes I maybe that's part of her character, is that she's trying to like figure that out now that she's talking. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I I do like Kimiko a lot, and it is interesting. I worked in um LA for a while in this in the industry, and and if you don't talk during like a your scene, you don't make as much money. But I wonder if it's different with Kimiko and like the actress. I wonder if it's different for her because she's sign languaging, and I wonder if maybe that is like the money. Yeah. Like it also is your character. Yeah. So I wonder if there's something there. Um, but I think so. I think Kimiko is probably gonna die, but I I think Frenchie's definitely gone. And I but if Kimiko lives, she's gonna try to go live on that island she was talking about.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, maybe, maybe that's I just I so I thought what you were gonna say was it's gonna be hard to me if like I can't imagine only one of them living. Because I think if one of them is going to die, the other will probably die trying to save them. Or like I just can't imagine. Yeah, I it might be one of them.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I can totally see that, actually. I can absolutely see that. Um I'm trying to go through the rest of the characters. Ashley, the vice president, gone. Think so? Yeah, for I think I think everyone. I think Ashley will die in like a comical way. It'll be very comical. Yeah. Because she's no longer a serious character either. She has been sidelined into some absurdist like dude, she's got Voldemort on the back of her head. Yeah. It's it's hilarious talking to herself. Dude, that was so funny in the car. The deep The Deep dies. I think no, I actually think the deep's gonna live.

SPEAKER_00

Me too, dude. I hope he does. I really hope he does.

SPEAKER_01

What about like Sage?

SPEAKER_00

Uh yeah, I feel like Homelander's gonna get tired of her shit. I mean, she's really she's a good character for the show, and I like the character she's because she kind of she's able to like go toe-to-toe, at least with Homelander, in the sense of like a lot of logic.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's what I mean. She's the smartest person in the room, and she's always telling, but she and I think you know, we talked about emotional intelligence when we were we were talking about the pit. I think her intelligence, everyone thinks it's just this logical intelligence, but she also is able to kind of pin Homelander's psyche.

SPEAKER_00

She's able- Yeah, she knows what angles to take. Like that's it's it's impressive.

SPEAKER_01

That's the emotional intelligence aspect, too. So I, you know, of yeah, you're right. It's funny. Who do you think is gonna live? I think Huey, MM, are light. And then of like non-people in the boys, I think the deep soldier boys dead, Homelander's for sure dead.

SPEAKER_00

Homelander's death, if he does die, will be legendary. Like, I think that's gonna be incredible. So, d do you want me to tell you like the comic book? No.

SPEAKER_01

Like version? I don't know. No. Okay. No. Well, they it dude, it's already different. Like it's already mapped. Is it really different? Like it it's it's they already changed one of the characters. Never mind. Did you read the full comic? Did you read the whole comic? No, I didn't read it. I'm not sure. Okay, gotcha.

SPEAKER_00

Well, people people actually say it's not good. Really? The comic? It's not good?

Yeah. I think it's it's it's it's very of its time. I think it's it was written in the mid-2000s, and it's just edgy to be edgy. Oh. And frankly, some of the scenes are like disgusting. Like it's it's hard to watch. Like the the boys are hard to read, I guess. The boys can be hard to watch, but some of very few scenes make me like deeply uncomfortable. There are a couple. There are a couple, but in the comics, I think it was gratuitous. Uh it was to a point where it was like, this is this is just fucked up to be fucked up. Yeah. The boys, the show is fucked up for a reason. It's like trying to give it's trying to say something with how graphic it is. That's that's what I would say. But I I'm pumped for the rest of the season. I like your prediction. I like that you're like, we should actually keep a tally. We should, we should write yours. What about you? Okay, I didn't ask you. I mean, a lot of mine are the same.

SPEAKER_00

I think a lot of mine are the same, although I don't know that Starlight is gonna make it. I think she might die. You think Starlight's gone? Yeah, I think she I might put her in my like death bucket. But uh I do think I do think Huey, I I agree with you, Huey. Huey's the only one that I can like confidently be like, I think he's gonna make it. And then the deep, I really died. I thought they killed him when split second this last episode. When the the explosion, like the the the soup who can like explode people. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

The other chick. But oh also funny, Maverick dies just like his dad, translucent. He explodes. Yeah. It's very nice touch there.

SPEAKER_02

Nice touch.

SPEAKER_01

Um, but dude, I'm excited. I think this will be a very fun series for us to talk about every week. And you know, I I just moved, so it's been a little hectic, but we're definitely gonna release the next episode next Monday. So um no, that'll be episode four. So then and then we dude, and then it's I'm a little sad that it's almost over. It's such a good show. It's so much fun. And we're not gonna get anything like this. I mean, the only comparable thing is Invincible, but that's the a different side of the same coin. So it we're not gonna get a show like this again. And so it's been a treat, and I'm really excited to see where what happens. Apparently, the whole cast on crew says the the last, the finale is incredible. Nice.

SPEAKER_00

I I'm I'm excited too, man. I'm excited too.

SPEAKER_01

It's gonna be great.

SPEAKER_00

It's gonna be great. But uh any any last thoughts before we wrap up? Oh, I'm good, man. I I'm looking forward to talking about it with you. I think uh I think it's gonna be exciting. I do I think the the end is gonna be great, so I'm excited. Okay. I'm looking forward to it. All right, guys. We'll talk to you later.

SPEAKER_01
