Originally we started out from 2010 until 2021 when our work was based around our weekly radio programme SacredSpace102fm (SS102fm) on West Limerick 102fm. For our historic information and programme content you can visit our old blog (2010 to 2019) at https://sacredspace102.blogspot.com/ (Please note that the blog is no longer being updated).
Now we share our work via this page including our weekly podcast as well as other recordings and inspirational talks which we would like to share with you our listeners. Since August 2025 it also now includes our new weekly radio programme "Come & See Inspirations" as we have returned on air on West Limerick102fm.
Come & See Inspirations (C&SI)
C&SI - A Christmas Pic & Mix - 4 Jan 2026 (S06E07)
Merry Christmastide to all our readers and listeners from the C&SI team. We are still in the Christmas Season and of course also Happy New Year as we have passed the turn on the calendar also.
For our international listeners just to flag that Ireland still celebrates the Feast of Epiphany on January 6th so liturgically the gospel reading on this weeks podcast is from the Second Sunday of Christmas.
In part one we have a run through the liturgical odds and ends of the coming week and also flagging the Noveritis (Announcement of Easter and the Moveable Feasts). We also have our annual patron saint selection for members of the team and the podcast - you can select yours HERE.
In part three we have our reading of the gospel for the Sunday which is taken from the Prologue of St John with it is poetic account of the External Word entering into our human existence.
A Christmas Pic' & Mix
In part 2 we have a run through a few things including the papal messages over the Christmas period, a reminder of the meaning of the 12 days of Christmas, and encouragement to read and reflect on the 2026 letter from Taize which askes the question, "What are you seeking?".
- Popes homily for Christmas Eve - Announce the joy of Christmas, a feast of faith, charity, and hope
- Popes homily for Christmas morning - Since the Word was made flesh, humanity speaks
- Christmas Urbi et Orbi - Peace is a shared responsibility
- Taize Letter 2026
- Jubilee Year concludes in particular Churches in Rome
- ‘God’s heart remains open', says Cardinal at closing of Holy Door (of St Mary Majors on Christmas Eve)
- Closeness is the legacy of the Jubilee, says Cardinal at closing of St. John Lateran Holy Door (on December 27th, feast of St John the Apostle)
- Cardinal Harvey closes Holy Door at St Paul's Outside the Walls (on December 28th, feast of the Holy Family)
