Originally we started out from 2010 until 2021 when our work was based around our weekly radio programme SacredSpace102fm (SS102fm) on West Limerick 102fm. Now we share our work via this page including our weekly podcast as well as other recordings and inspirational talks which we would like to share with you our listeners. Since August 2025 it also now includes our new weekly radio programme "Come & See Inspirations" as we have returned on air on West Limerick102fm.

C&SI - Ecclesial Year in Review 2025 - 8 Feb 2026 (S06E12)

On this weeks podcast we take a quick run through some of the main highlights from 2025 in the area of church life including things papal, worldwide, and at the national and local level here in Ireland. Usually we aim to do this particular podcast in January but it slipped out a bit on us this year - the joys of life and other events! From a global perspective 2025 was a Jubilee Year with two popes! This marks the third time in history this has occurred, following the Jubilees of 1390 (Urban VI and Boniface IX) and 1700 (Innocent XII and Clement XI). In Ireland we saw movement towards the Assemblies of the Irish Synodal Pathway in October 2026, anniversaries for St Oliver Plunkett and St Lawrence O'Toole and Dublin finally gets a catholic cathedral!
We have our regular run through the liturgical odds and ends in part one including a brief prayer space.
In part three we have our reflection on the weekly Sunday gospel which continues Matthews account of the Sermon on the Mount (Mt 5:13-16) where Jesus challenges his disciples to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
