With the recent removal of the Endangerment Finding under the Trump Administration, how can we increase awareness about the intersection of geosciences and international affairs?

In this episode, GJIA sits down with Dr. Michael Oppenheimer to take a look at  United Nations climate change policy and action. Dr. Oppenheimer also touches on the direction of global sentiments about climate change.

Dr. Oppenheimer is the Albert G. Milbank Professor of Geosciences and International Affairs at Princeton University. He also serves as Director of the Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment and is a faculty associate in both the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Program and the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies.

Prior to joining Princeton, Dr. Oppenheimer served as Chief Scientist at the Environmental Defense Fund and was a long-serving member on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
