Motherhood can be fulfilling, enjoyable, uplifting, and also challenging which can be heightened when mums experience mental health care issues. Mothering after Post-Natal Depression (PND) discusses the importance of filling up your cup first as a mother and regaining balance through supportive choices, practitioners, and the village around you.
Natasha Stewart is the strategic powerhouse and mother of four at the helm of Business Jump, who discovered that asking for help and practising self-care was crucial to her recovery from PND. Natasha was diagnosed with PND after the birth of her son, which resulted from an accumulation of many factors, including being run-down and sleep deprivation. She regained balance with a combination of therapies, including conventional and natural therapies to fill her cup.
Natasha discusses how she found resilience and the confidence to parent her kids again to the best of her ability after PND. She regularly shares her stories of personal and business growth with her WAHM tribe and shares how she takes care of her wellbeing on a daily basis.
Natasha emphasises how she has learned to identify misalignments in her health and how she resets them to be her best and mother her kids to the best of her ability so that they can reach their potential.
Listen to the hopes she has for women in a similar situation to her and how modelling self-care to her kids enhances their wellbeing and the flow-on effect it has for her work/life balance.
