Mason Youngblood is PhD student in Animal Behavior and Comparative Psychology at the City University of New York, studying cultural evolution in songbirds and humans. His focus is on how cultural and organic evolution interface through sexual selection, and how cultural transmission mechanisms shape population-level diversity.
