Inheritance Unveiled: "Ye Are Gods?" Psalm 82

Jason DeMars Season 3 Episode 2

Send us a text

Explore the profound connection between our spiritual inheritance and the biblical concept of Elohim, discovering how Christ restored our rightful position as "amateur gods" and representatives of God on earth.

• The word "adoption" in Scripture means "placing as sons," not taking someone who isn't yours
• We were chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world
• Our inheritance includes sonship, position, and the authority of the spoken word
• Like historical nobles training their heirs, God prepares us for our inheritance through progressive revelation
• "Elohim" in Hebrew applies not just to God but also to angels, prophets, and judges
• Adam and Eve lost our title deed of dominion, but Christ reclaimed it
• Jesus called us "gods" because we're born of God's Spirit and share His divine nature
• True godship comes through surrender to God's will, not exerting our own independence
• We inherit everything Christ inherited as His bride
• Our inheritance includes authority to speak with God's power when aligned with His Word

God bless you. Welcome to the Jason DeMars podcast. Thanks so much for tuning in. I greatly appreciate that recording from the hotel in Cairo and I'm going to be starting a subject looking at our inheritance. I want to entitle this titled Inheritance and a look at the subject of Elohim. You are Elohim and so, as we look at this, just want to remind everyone if you have any questions or prayer requests or testimonies, please feel free to let me know at jasondemarscom. You can contact me there. If you want to support the missions work, you can do so there as well.

Speaker 1:

We greatly appreciate that, and so when we're looking at our inheritance, we're looking back at the word, the term adoption, and in the New Testament this word is used, I believe, in Romans, it's used in Ephesians, it's also used in Galatians and as we look at this word, it's translated into English in adoption. But that connotation in the English language is you're taking someone who is not your son and making them your son, and so this word is different. In Greek it's the word huio, thesia. So huio or huios means son and thesea means placing. So the connotation, the context of this is an heir receiving his inheritance, so it's the placing as sons. Galatians 4, 1 through 5 shows us this. Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, dithereth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all, but is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so, we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world. When the fullness of the time was come, god sent forth his son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the placing of sons, the adoption of sons. But again, that is the word, the placing of sons. And so again, it's the heir as long as he's a child. So this word child is different than the word son. The word child speaks of the age of immaturity into an age of maturity. Hwios speaks of the age of majority, of the age of minority, and so the idea, then, is that before the child is placed, before the child is placed as a son, there is a training, a tutoring process that comes, that leads this child into mature citizenship.

Speaker 1:

Ephesians 1 through 5 says Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord, jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spirit and blessings in heavenly places, in Christ according as he has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. So this case speaks of our destiny. Our destiny is adoption. We are predestined so before the foundation of the world. God saw us, chose us and destined us to be placed as sons. All right Now there are many things in the New Testament that are showing out as a type, what our position is and how we grow in our position and what that position will ultimately lead out to.

Speaker 1:

So, if we can put it out in a very, very simple way, I have eight points here. I'll just go through those quickly, but not too quickly. Number one we are chosen in. Christ thought in the mind of God a part of his life before the foundation of the world. Two Christ went to the cross with his elect in him and he died to pay the price for our redemption. Three we're born in time and we're dead in sin. Four even though we're dead in sin, within our soul there's a gene from God that laid there dormant. Number five the Spirit of God comes and quickens that gene to life. Number six our life gets cleansed and simultaneously we grow in maturity by the Word, by meeting the challenges of life. With the Word Seven, because of point one, we were chosen and created from the foundation of the world. Because at point one, we were chosen and created from the foundation of the world, we will ultimately receive an immortal body which is our complete adoption. Eight you, in that immortal body, will live on a new heaven and new earth, all right.

Speaker 1:

So when we look at inheritance, you know it's a title inheritance it's a position, it's sonship, it's actually, if you look at it, it's a restoration to what God had in mind for the foundation of the world. So in historical england the process by which a land owning titled man prepared his son to inherit or assume a title position was rooted in tradition, social expectation, practical education. While the specifics varied depending on the area, whether it was medieval, tudor, georgian, etc. The family's status and title in question took Earl Barron. The general framework followed a pattern designed to ensure the son could uphold the family's legacy, manage the estate and fulfill the responsibilities tied to his work. Here's a broad outline of how this would or I should say, might have unfolded.

Speaker 1:

From a young age. The son often the oldest due to premature the practice of the firstborn inheriting the bulk of the estate title was groomed for his future role. His upbringing was distinct from that of commoners or even younger siblings. Education began at home, typically under the guidance of a tutor or governess. He learned reading, writing, arithmetic, but the curriculum emphasized skills befitting his station. So Latin for law and scholarship, history to understand lineage and precedent, heraldry to grasp symbols and alliances of noble families. Manners and etiquette were driven into him early as he needed to navigate court life or host dignitaries.

Speaker 1:

As he grew, practical training took center stage. His father would introduce him to estate management overseeing tenants, collecting rents, maintaining lands, resolving disputes. This wasn't just theoretical. The boy might accompany his father or the estate steward on rounds, learning by observation and eventually by participation. If the family held a martial title, he'd train in horsemanship, swordsmanship, military strategy, often under a seasoned knight or arms master. Physical prowess was a mark of nobility, especially in earlier centuries when lords might lead men into battle. Socially, he'd be taught to wield influence. This could mean attending local courts or gatherings, learning to negotiate with other landowners, being presented at the royal court if the family were permitted it. Marriages were often arranged to secure alliances. They might be schooled in courtship customs, Though his input on the matter was secondary to the domestic rules. By his teens he could be sent to a noble household a practice called fostering to serve as a page or squire, gaining polish or connections beyond his father's domain.

Speaker 1:

In maturity, typically around 16 to 21,. Depending on the period, his father would take steps to cement his position. If the title was hereditary, the son's assumption of it came automatically upon the father's death, but preparation was key. The father might petition the king to grant the son a lesser title during his own lifetime a barren son becoming a knight, or a courtesy title like viscont, giving him a taste of authority. Although the son might be appointed to a role like justice of the peace, sheriff roles tied to land ownership and no duty to his reputation. Transition was an hour smooth, father long. The son might chafe at waiting, managing only a portion of the estate or serving in a subordinate role. Some cases, fathers secured royal favor or purchased additional lands to settle on the son, ensuring his independence.

Speaker 1:

By the time he fully stepped into the title, whether through inheritance or elevation, he was expected to be a capable lord, a landowner, a leader and a link in the chain of aristocratic tradition. This process evolved over time. By the 8th and 19th centuries, formal education at places like Augusta became more common for the gentry, and military service offered alternative paths to prestige, but the core remained A title man raised his air with an eye of preserving power, wealth and name, blending hands-on learning with the weight of expectation. So as we look at all this, we begin to see and understand what God is doing through this process of inheritance. Now, by birth, or I should say by election, this inheritance is ours. Or I should say by election, this inheritance is ours. But having come into the world being dead in sin and trespasses, we're in a position where we don't have the position, we don't have the title and we don't have the authority. And so there's a process that God takes us through to get us into that process, if we can just summarize what we just read. One, there's a learning of language, history and heraldry. Two, so let me slow down learning of language, history and heraldry.

Speaker 1:

As believers, we need to learn the redemption plan. We need to learn how God created. We need to learn how the fall happened. We need to understand what God did to get us to this place. We need to understand how he called Abraham. We need to see the stripes and the shadows recorded through the Old Testament. We need to read of the prophets. We need to see the types and the shadows recorded through the Old Testament. We need to read of the prophets. We need to see their prophecy. We need to see what was established in the language not Hebrew and Greek, but the language of Revelation.

Speaker 1:

In the history of Revelation and in the heraldry of Revelation, two manners and etiquette are learned early on. God begins by the Holy Spirit to teach us and to guide us in the character and nature of Jesus Christ. We start as a babe. We start at an early process, begin to grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Then three practical on-the-job training to watch and see how the management of the estate was done. There's no better way to learn than on the job. You have a job, you have an authority, you have a way of behaving and acting towards those around you, and God wants to see this manifested in our lives. And so he gives us tasks, he gives us jobs, he gives us a place. He gives us tasks, he gives us jobs, he gives us a place, he gives us a supernatural power to accomplish the tasks that he's called us to. Number four attending the right social gatherings and learning who is eligible for his friendship and, ultimately, his marriage. In other words, he needs to understand what kind of atmosphere he has around him, because who he chooses to be in his life is the type of atmosphere and character that he will have in his own life.

Speaker 1:

Five being appointed to a titled position. Again, this is a different process for a father who ends up dying. We have a father that is eternal, and so we're not waiting for someone to die to take that titled position. We get it by the Holy Ghost. Number six taking the position of his father upon his death. All right, so all of these things are gone through in order to accomplish the following four items Family legacy, managing the estate, fulfilling the responsibility of rank and four producing an heir. And so we look at that. In the history of redemption and adoption. There is an inherited title. There's also a stewardship that we have of the revelation of the mystery. There's also a responsibility that we have to fulfill in our position, and also he wants us to produce fruit.

Speaker 1:

Now, psalm 82.6, I have said Ye are gods and all of you are the children of the Most High. So this term is you are Elohim. So there's some confusion a bit about this term Elohim and we want to look at it and begin to clear things up a little bit. The word Elohim, if you take the strongest conclusion, says God in the ordinary sense, but specifically of the supreme God, occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates and sometimes as a superlative angels, exceeding God, great judges, mighty. And so as we study the scriptures, you'll see that this bears out very well All through scripture.

Speaker 1:

It is used this way and I want you to see what Brother Branham says in the Sermon on the Fourth Seal, where it had been lost by Adam and Eve and went back after they forfeited their rights of the Word, the promises, their inheritance, amen. So if you're thinking of it in regards to Revelation, chapter 5, in the title deed for redemption, the title deed to earth and eternal life, this was in the hands of Adam, adam. Adam had the inheritance, it was his heritage, it's what God had given to him, but he lost it, and so that's why the lamb has 1963,. The lamb took the book and broke the seven seals off of there and came down and revealed himself through them, so where it had been lost by Adam and Eve, and went back after they forfeited their rights of the word, the promises, their inheritance. They remember, they control the earth. He was an amateur God, for he was a son of God, and a son of God is an amateur God.

Speaker 1:

Now that ain't contrary to scripture. I know that sounds strange, but Jesus said if you call them whom the word of God came to, and what does the word of God come to the prophets? If you call them who, the word of God comes to gods. How can you condemn me when I say I am the son of God? See, and now they were gods and man. If you become born in the family, if you are in family name, you are a son and part of your father.

Speaker 1:

And then, when sin came in, we found out that the man crossed the chasm and the blood of bulls and goats covered but did not remit Until the real bleach came that could take the stain of sin and break it completely to pieces and send it back upon its original perverter, that was Satan. When it got back to Satan, he waits his time of eternal annihilation. Now, that shows what we believe. We believe that he will absolutely be done, completely away and annihilated. I believe that sin will be broke up when it's confessed upon the basis of the blood of Jesus Christ. It's like dropping a drop of black ink in a bunch of Clorox bleach it just breaks it into the chemicals and sends it plumb back to where it come from, see, and that's the way a Jesus Christ does. Then that sets a man across the chasm again as a son of God, see, and then he becomes a why and the power of God is in him and at least whenever God can command it to be done, it will be done All right.

Speaker 1:

And so, as we look at this I'm not going to get ahead of myself. I'm wanting to explain things that I'll explain later. I'm just going to slow it down. So Genesis 1.1 is the first place that we see the word Elohim used. In the beginning, god created the heaven and the earth. Again, this is the word, the plural word for God, and we'll see this used all the time it speaks of a plural of majesty. But I'm going to read the scriptures and you're going to see a thought develop. Now. Elohim does not mean the self-existing one. The word Jehovah or Yahweh is the self-existing one who reveals himself. So that's the name Yahweh.

Speaker 1:

Elohim is the is the word for God, but we'll see, it doesn't mean God in the English sense of the word, english sense of the word. English sense of the word means an object of worship. In the Hebrew it's used differently. Of course it means God, but their whole connotation is quite different than our connotation. When we speak of God, we speak of an invisible. When we speak of God, we speak of an invisible, eternal entity. All right, there's only one, god, right? Well, in the Old Testament we've already seen the term.

Speaker 1:

Elohim speaks not only of God, but it also speaks of angels, it speaks of prophets. So let's read 1 Kings 8.23,. And he said Lord, god of Israel, there is no Elohim like thee in heaven above or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk for thee with all thy heart. Psalms 89.5-8. I'm reading now from the ESV Let the heavens praise your one Lord, your faithfulness in the assembly of the Holy Ones. For who in the skies can be compared to the Lord? Who among the heavenly beings is like the Lord? So these heavenly beings, translated in the ESV, means sons of El, benai El who, among the sons of El, is like the Lord, a God greatly to be feared in the counsel of the holy ones, and awesome above all, who are around him. O Lord, god of hosts, who is mighty as you are. So here we see a heavenly host that's named the sons of El, and a council of holy ones who are called the sons of El, and that no one is like Elohim.

Speaker 1:

Psalms 8, 4-6. What is man that thou art mindful of him, and the son of man that thou visitest him. Verse 5, it says man, that thou visitest him Now. Verse 5, it says thou hast made him a little lower than the angels in the KJV. But if you look at the Hebrew, for thou hast made him a little lower than the Elohim and hast crowned him with glory and honor, thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands, thou hast put all things under his feet. So here we have, and we find in this place where the angels themselves are called Elohim, genesis 3, 4 through 5,.

Speaker 1:

And the serpent said to the woman you shall not surely die, for God doth know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened and you shall be as Elohim, knowing good and evil. So again, their eyes will be opened and they'll be like Elohim. So, like God and his council of angels, you'll be like them. What's amazing is how could they be more like Elohim? They were made in the image and likeness of Elohim. They were the very expression and manifestation of the true and living Elohim. Psalm 7, 1,. And the Lord said unto Moses See, I have made thee Elohim to Pharaoh and Aaron, thy brother shall be thy prophet.

Speaker 1:

Psalm 82.1. God standeth in the congregation of the El the mighty. Esv says God standeth in the congregation of the divine council. He judgeth among the Elohim, interesting huh. Psalm 21, or Exodus 21, verse 6. Then his master shall bring him unto the Elohim the judges. Then his master shall bring him unto the Elohim the judges. Then his master shall bring him unto the Elohim. He shall also bring him unto the door or unto the doorpost, and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl and he shall serve him forever, all right.

Speaker 1:

Psalms 8.3,. Defend the poor and fatherless. Do justice to the afflicted and needy. So he's speaking to the judges and he's telling them do justice. Verse 4, deliver the poor and needy, rid them out of the hand of the wicked. Verse 5, neither will they understand. They walk on in darkness and all the foundation of the earth are out of course. Verse 6, I have said ye are Elohim and all of you are the children of the Most High. Ye shall die like men and fall like one of the princes. Arise, o God. Judge the earth, for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so before we move on, I want to look at this divine counsel. Now understand in antiquity, in the times that the Bible was written, people were not Christians, muslims and Jews and Hindus, although there were Hindus, but there was believers in the one true and living God. And then there was those that believed in the gods, and they had this giant council of gods and every nation would have one supreme God. And so in the Bible we find that there is one Jehovah Elohim, but that there is many Elohim and that the Elohim are both human and angelic and that this doesn't necessarily mean that they're an object of worship. For in the Bible we find in the Ten Commandments you have no other Elohim besides Him. You have no other God besides Him. So look at this.

Speaker 1:

In the Old Testament we find a council of angelic beings. We've spoken of a number of different times. We read before even that council is called children of El, sons of El. So let's go over this story as an example 1 Kings, 22, 19 through 23. And he said spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said Thou shalt persuade him and prevail. Go forth and do so Now. Therefore, behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord has spoken evil concerning thee. So we see, there there's a divine counsel. God speaks to them, he seeks counsel from them. Of course, god knows what to do, he knows his plans. He doesn't need their wisdom, but he wants both angels and men to participate in his plan and in his program.

Speaker 1:

Alright, so again, the process of fall and redemption. We have, number one Adam and Eve placed on earth. The title deed is in their hand, the will, its instructions and their heritage. Number two Eve was deceived. Adam stepped out to redeem her. They lost the title deed. Three Satan becomes the prince of the power of the air, the god of this evil age. Number four Jesus, through his death and resurrection, conquers the enemy spirits and now we can positionally be placed as sons of God. Adam lost this position. He lost his inheritance Number five. In 1963, the Lamb took the title deed back and gave us our inheritance, the will and its instructions. It's all ours now Because, remember, the title deed went to the hands of the Lamb. Then it came down in the form of the mighty angel. It was spoken forth through the voice of the mighty angel. It was spoken forth through the voice of the seventh son to the seventh angel. Then that book was given into the hands of the bride and we were to eat it and become one with our inheritance again.

Speaker 1:

So look at what Brother Branham says in Adoption 1. But in Genesis 2, when he made man, he said I am Jehovah. What did it mean? I'm all existence, one who has created something off of myself to be a son of mine or a temporary or an amateur one of mine. Glory, why he gave man Jehovah means he gave man to be an amateur God because he is father God and he made a man an amateur God, so he isn't self-existence anymore, he exists with his family.

Speaker 1:

El Elohim, he is Jehovah. Jehovah meaning the one who exists with his family. Now God made man to be predominant over all the earth. He had dominion, and the earth was man's dominion. Is that scripture? Then, if that's his domain, he was God over the earth. He was, as we saw, elohim over the earth. He could speak, and it would be so. He could speak this and it would be so. Oh, there he is, god Jehovah, the one who once existed in self-exist but now exists with his family and his little ones with him. There you are, adoption number four, and now this may choke you to death.

Speaker 1:

But did you know that men are sons of that? Our sons of God are amateur gods. How many ever know that? How many knows that Jesus said so? The Bible said did not your law say itself? You are gods. And if you call them gods which said Genesis 2, that they were gods because they were had full dominion over the dominion of the world. He gave them dominion over all things and he lost his godship. He lost his sonship, he lost his domain and Satan took it over. But, brother, we are waiting for the manifestations of the sons of God who will come back and take it over, waiting for the fullness of time, when the pyramid gets up to the top, when the full sons of God will be manifested, when the power of God will walk out, hallelujah, and will take every power that Satan's got away from him. Yes, sir, it belongs to him.

Speaker 1:

So he made man to be Elohim upon the earth, not to receive worship, not to forgive sins, but to be God's representative, god's visible expression, god's vice regent upon the earth, to take all that God is and take God's nature, god's characteristics, and manifest them upon the earth. Revelation 5, 9 through 10,. And they sung a new song saying thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof, for Thou wast slain and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood, out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation, and hath made us unto our God, kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth. So here we see that through the blood of Jesus Christ and through him taking the book, loosing the seals, and we are restored to our godship, we are restored to our sonship, we are restored to the power of the spoken word, we are restored to the full manifestation of the divine nature within us. So it's through Jesus Christ that we're restored unto our position as sons Under the law. We were under tutors and governors. What was it doing? It was to prepare us unto the adoption, the placing of sons through Jesus Christ. Read Gal, read Revelation 3, it shows us that it's through Jesus Christ that the title of sonship is restored back unto man. And then we find in Revelation 4, it's not angels, but then 24 elders. So man has given his position that God wanted him to be, that place of continuity and that place of authority in the divine counsel.

Speaker 1:

2 Peter 1.4 says, whereby are given unto us exceeding great, precious promises that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature. Having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust, we become partakers of the divine nature. This mean, this word is, uh, theois, and nature is fucis, the word growth, or by germination or expansion. So a genus or sort. So what is it saying? We are the word divine, is Godhead, the partakers of the Godhead genus. So I was listening to a wonderful preacher recently, brother Eugene Brown, and he said if a pulpit ever expands itself, if a pulpit ever expands itself, what does it expand itself to, wood? If the Godhead ever expands itself, what is that? It's the Godhead, it's God. So it's the God nature, the God kind or the God head genus.

Speaker 1:

We're from the genes of God, we're a part of his life and through Jesus Christ and the opening of the seals and the taking of the book, all of that is restored back to us now as we look at this. Matthew 17 all of that is restored back to us Now as we look at this. Matthew 17, 20,. Jesus said unto them Because of your unbelief. For verily, I say unto you, if you have faith, as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible to you. Amen, this is what is restored back to us through Jesus Christ. It's through him that we have access to Godship and to sonship. Again, matthew 21, 21 and 22.

Speaker 1:

Jesus said unto them Verily, I say unto you If you have faith, thou shalt not faith. Ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea, it shall be done. All things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. And if we ask anything according to his will, it shall be done. So when we ask and when we speak according to the will of God, god himself will bring it to pass as though, as God himself has spoken. Matthew 11, 23 and 24,. For verily, I say unto you that whatsoever whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe in those things, shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, whatsoever things ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.

Speaker 1:

So we're partakers of the Godhead genus, we're sharers, companions of the Godhead genus or species. Think about that the God species. When God brings something off of himself, that's his son. What species is he from? The God species 1951, faith is the substance, brother Branham says.

Speaker 1:

After the days of that came along Jesus, and he was God's ensign. He was lifted up, he ascended on high and gave gifts back to men, and men received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and he made deity Himself. Now that didn't set very good, but that's according to the Word. A man or a woman that's born of the Spirit of God is a part of God. Amen. You are sons of God and daughters of God, did Jesus say. Isn't it written in your scriptures, your laws, that you're gods Not to forgive sins now, but you're sons and daughters of God, limited to their faith.

Speaker 1:

Now you might come to this place and say, well, I'm just so-and-so. And now we have here's a guy telling me, god dwells in me and I've received the revelation of who I am. You'll understand that you're an amateur God. I can't do anything in my own self. I'm weak and needy. I am too. Jesus was God manifest in the flesh. He was the Son of God.

Speaker 1:

Did Jesus go around saying, oh, it's my will to do this, I'm going to do this? No, that's Satan, that's Lucifer. I will ascend into the heavens. I will ascend to the heights. I will be like the Most High. No, that's not how it is. Jesus thought it not robbery. He said let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation in fashion as a man, became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. So the way to manifest God and morph God manifest, become God manifested, is surrendering your own will to the will of Almighty God. But when you have the promise of God. You can speak that over your life and over your situation and God will bring it to pass.

Speaker 1:

Jesus, when he was tempted, what did he do? He didn't say I'm the Son of God, look at me. Satan came to him and said if you're the Son of God, do this. And Jesus, what did he do? He submitted his will to the Word of God, to the Scripture. What did he go around saying I can do nothing of mine own self. I came not to do mine own will, as the Father shows me that I do. I do always that which is pleasing the Father. Jesus could do that and obediently carry out the impossible by having a revelation of who he was and walking in it. Then, when he met the challenge, he could take the word with authority and speak it out to the enemy, and it would be done exactly as it's written. That's exactly the mold that he's designed for you and me to be.

Speaker 1:

As Elohim, sons of the highest heirs of all things, we have an inheritance. So Christ is our bridegroom. All things have been given unto his hands, right groom, all things have been given unto his hands, right. He's the heir of everything. Well, what does that mean? We inherit what he inherits. We're a part of him. We're his wife, he is our husband. We have access to everything that he has, access to the inheritance that he has is our inheritance, and so that really is the full view of adoption.

Speaker 1:

Now there's much more to it. We can look at rapturing faith, we can look at end time events that go into it, but what is it? It's us fully entering into our position that we are heirs to, that belong to us. It's got a title to it. It's got responsibility to it. It's got a family nature, the God nature, to be manifested in us. If a horse gives birth to a horse, what is that? That's birthed a horse. If a cow gives birth to a cow, it's a cow. If a cow gives birth, it's a cow. If God gives birth, it's a God. In other words, it's the God in nature. Sons and daughters of God, you're a part of his life. You are him being made manifest upon the earth. Amen.

Speaker 1:

Now, in the world religions, in Hindu and Buddhism, these different things. God is just the composite of all reality. That is not what the teaching of the Scripture is. God is a spirit. He's other than us. In him we live and move and have our being. He's above us and beyond us. He's in us and he's through us.

Speaker 1:

And at the same time, we understand that it was part of God's purpose to bring forth life from himself. There's only one form of eternal life, that's God's own life. So those of us, we have a separate existence. That's what God's purpose was. He wanted to bring us forth in birth, have a separate existence from him, so that we then could become one with him and express, express him. The birds aren't him. The, the, the, the rocks aren't him, the stones aren't him.

Speaker 1:

What is it his he? He is above us and he's in us. It's one one god and father of all, who is above all and through all and in you all. And so what is our inheritance? It's many things. It's eternal life, it's authority, it's every promise in the book belongs to us. We're a part of him. We're entering into maturity, we're entering into the marriage of the Lamb. In this hour, we're becoming a part of him. There's so much, so much there, but we're just at about 45 minutes, so we'll finish there. Thank you so much for listening to the Jason DeBars podcast.
