A Rocky Start And A War For Voice

SPEAKER_00

So, this is TeresaCraft. I'm so glad you're listening to the Tech No More Voices podcast. And can I just get straight up right now? There's something about the anime that does not want this message to go out. Okay. We started off this series called The Rise, Speak and Share, last week, okay? And it was about the tipping point. And it took me three different software to get it out. I thought, okay, this is messing, you know, no, I don't blame, I don't find the devil behind every problem, don't get me wrong. But I do believe there's a media bug that loves to mess things up. So I'm getting all excited to do part two. The sound's on on my microphone right there, okay? I'm I'm not dumb, but for some reason there was no sound. So I am really excited now. I see my mic leveling the levels, and they may be too much because I'm really like can't wait to talk to you. Okay? Here we go. It's part two of the Why Now series, and we're not just talking about podcasting, we're talking about divine positioning. So your voice is a weapon, and it's not a weapon for destruction, it's a weapon of hope, a tool of truth, a means of breakthrough. Now, make this podcast on two verses. The first one is uh Proverbs 10, verse 11. It says, The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. And since we're talking about war, we're gonna go to Ephesians 6, verse 12, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, the media bugs, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. This is not always war. But I feel like this episode is war. So let's start off with that first verse, okay? Proverbs 10, verse 11. The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. That means your voice, okay, when submitted to God, when drenched in love and led by the Holy Spirit, becomes a fountain. And listen, friend, we are living in a very dry and weary land, just like Psalm 63, the beginning of Psalm 63. The world, though, doesn't need more noise, it needs more life. And that life flows through the words of the righteous. You are righteous. Okay, you say, No, I don't feel very righteous. So, what are you talking about? Listen, listen. I think it's Romans 5, verse 17. He who knew no sin became sin on our behalf that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ. So when you learn to speak from your identity, you realize there's going to be some battles, but your voice is going to be what wins. I sometimes wonder if that wasn't the reason why I had such a battle for my voice, because even in a cacophony relationship, I was always fighting for it. It was a season I almost lost my voice. Not always physically, but emotionally, spiritually, even relationally. It felt easy just to go silent at times, to retreat, to shrink back. I remember when we'd have guests over, and Dave was usually the one who did all the talking, and it was like I liked it because I could check out. I'm just being honest. Because if I did say anything, there would always be an ugly answer if I tried to add to the conversation. So I would just take that time and I would check out. Just being honest. I would just check out, not even listening to what they were saying. But I but God. But God had different plans. He would not let me stay stuck. Even in the midst of it, I fought for my voice. And I think the greatest thing is I was starting at the same time to learn about my identity. But it wasn't fun, it was tough. God often spoke to me during that period. It's kind of part of my story through the voice of the vine dresser. And he said, Listen to the vine dresser. And I couldn't conjure these up. It was just a way he would just soak my heart as I was in the word every day and soak my heart with truth. It's almost like I see you, I know what you're going through. Well, one day, he whispered in the quiet moments, he said, Teresa, your voice is not optional. It's part of your identity, it's how I've wired you to war. Not with shouting, but with speaking truth with hope, with love, with fire, but also with healing. I continued speaking, but I think I've turned a corner since the passing of my husband in that relationship where I had to really go deep and get some healing on my mind to get that rewiring going, to come out of the fog and really start speaking from my scars and not my wounds, to make those landmines into landmarks of God's faithfulness. But it took some healing. I was sharing in a group that when you get healing from your mind, it can affect you outwardly. And I showed them a picture ID of like I guess it was about 12 years ago, into the present. There was like a total difference. They could show it to you, but if you're listening, you won't see it. But so I won't show it to you. That's how real the rewiring had to be. So I'm just sharing that story because I believe imperfect action is better than no action. But I believe some of you have come through the fire. You're like a war horse and you've got a message. You may feel like your voice is too messy, too complicated, too wounded. But the truth, your voice isn't a liability, friend. It's your legacy. The enemy often attacks our voice because it's tied to our purpose. But here's what I've learned the gift of influence often is often unlocked after we start moving, not before. So you don't have to be all polished and perfect and pretty and perfect action, better than no action. But when we move, even with a little trending in our heart, even with a little fear, but the moment we start to speak, something shifts. Not just in the atmosphere, but in you. I was looking for a video this morning on you, my YouTube, and I went back to the very beginning, and oh goodness, 2008. It was like, oh gosh, it was messy. One minute I'm trying to sell something, the next minute I'm preaching the word, and yeah, I was all over the place. But I was learning to speak post-radio, speaking on the radio and speaking, looking in the camera, and with your own message is a totally different thing. But the moment you speak, something has shifts. And the more I spoke on video like that, the more easier it was for me as I continued on in my journey to speak, to look into the camera and just be real. So the moment you speak, something does shift. Not just in the atmosphere, though, but in you. This is war on your voice, so we got to go to Ephesians 6, verse 12. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, media bugs, against the spiritual forceness of weakness in the heavenly places. There's a war that's a shift in the atmosphere. We, if if you haven't noticed it, the last couple of months we've seen a lot of shifts, a lot of good shifts, a lot of good shifts. I saw a major online influencer, a media person, who now someone said, What's are you saved? See, they're asking this from the crowd, what does it mean to be saved? And the lady said, powerful voice said, Well, I used to think that it was just doing good works. She says, but now I know the way to heaven is through Jesus Christ. She's got a platform. No one can take that platform away. And she can speak, and she's speaking that way. Come on, that's a shift. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood. So you this is how you battle it. Just like how you create a podcast. It's the same thing, it's from the presence of God. Spending time with him, listening to him, speaking to him, got the word out on your lap, the Rhema words that come to you. That's how you combat these forces. You stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, to stand in the authority from heaven. You're fitted with the belt of truth. Yeah. The armor of God, the the breastplate of righteousness. Your feet is ready for the gospel, but with peace, your voice, your voice has the shield of faith. Because there will be battles. You need that shield of faith. Because there's some people who don't agree with you. You might have a bunch of spiritual media bugs that make it hard for you to get your podcast out. But hey, shield of faith, and then get the sword out. It's the word of God. Wield that sword with love and protect yourself. Give me all fired up. So now let's talk about how we speak, okay? It's not just enough to know you have a message, but let's talk about love without truth. That's comfort, not conviction, okay? Truth without love is just noise. It cuts, but it doesn't heal. But when wisdom and boldness come together, led by the Holy Spirit, you release breakthrough. And often that breakthrough is for an inside-out job, but your breakthrough isn't just for you, it's for those around you. Like I hope someone's listening who's saying, Man, Teresa got breakthrough from a really rough relationship. I can get breakthrough and start to speak from my scars, not my wounds. Wisdom and boldness come together, led by the Holy Spirit, you release breakthrough. Let's be honest, there's a lot of loud voices out there. I'm thinking, I'm not gonna govern the internet. It's not my job as one to be the mother of the internet with all the different things, lies being spoken. But let's be honest, the right, some say all the right words, but they carry no weight, right? Others are bold, but you may notice they're bitter. We need women like you who speak truth wrapped in grace. I'm looking right at you. We need women like you who speak truth wrapped in grace and love. We need you. We need your breakthrough story. You don't need to sound professional, by the way. You don't need to sound polished. In fact, I think when you're just like, I'm just clearing my throat, I'm just not gonna edit that. I think when you just be real, that you the authenticity comes out. I think people like to hear someone who's being real, who tells a story, but from their scars, not their wounds. I think people need your story and then the truths you're learning, so they may be able to relate. Me too. I've been there, and then be able to relate as you share victory, as you share truth. So let's not speak from overwhelm. Let's speak from the overflow, from abiding in the vine. In this next segment, I really wanted a guest to join me. Maybe she'll join me on the next episode to speak to this because this is so deep. Your voice has generational impact. Let me take you deeper on this. Your podcast isn't just content, it's a seed. And you're throwing that seed out. And some people are like, I like that message, and they'll come to your birdhouse, your podcast. So it's like a seed. I I am on the radio on Sunday morning when we have uh one teaching after another, and I'm always thinking, God, could something here be a seed into a fertile soil so they'll take what was preached from the word and really have change in their life? I mean, I speak on the radio, I think the same thing. I have to speak three times an hour and pray at the top of the hour. I'm like, God, let mainly I feel like I'm just making declarations over people, but would this be a seed of hope? Now we're not talking about a radio, we are talking about podcasting, but it's still the same thing. Your word. And when you speak, heaven listens and hell shakes. Your story may seem small today, but it's eternal. When it's powered by the Holy Spirit, offered to God, just because you know it's lined in your DNA. I need to speak. When you speak, your daughters and your sons are listening, your spiritual children are listening, your online audience is listening, and guess what? They're being discipled by your faithfulness, not your perfection. You plant words now and trust God for the harvest. This is about legacy, not likes, not downloads on your podcast. It's about legacy, it's about obedience. Faithfulness now, fruit comes. You know, you may never see the full impact, but that doesn't mean it's not happening. Because someone is listening, and your obedience might be the very thing that unlocks their obedience. You see someone, they're like, oh, they started a podcast. Okay. If they can do it, I can do it. Your voice is needed now, friend. And let me give you a little exercise, okay? Write down. Are you ready? Okay, I'll pause. Get a pen. Write down three topics that burn in your heart. You know, they're just if I could speak. The things you ran about, cry about, dream about, or your story. Write out those three things. Because oftentimes these are your message core. Like my message core is finding your voice, sharing your voice, and podcasting your voice. It becomes my core. Then pray over them. You can ask Chat GPT's help, okay? I sometimes I just have conversations because I've I've primed it, I've trained it, which we teach in the Stechnomer Voices Academy, so I can just kind of rant and rave. I said the phrase just out of, I said, what now? I have been in a thread of of some stuff, and I said, What now? And it showed me what I could do, how I could. I mean, I'm even going back to lifting weights after my cancer battle. Okay, I'm getting on a rant on ChatGPT. And I asked ChatGPT, I said, I'm such and such age, I've had a battle with cancer, I'm exercising now, but I need to get back to weight training. Can you give me a weight training plan? I got a weight training plan. I'll tell you how that goes. So, write those topics. Don't be afraid to use Chat GPT, but the most thing, pray over them. Do pray over them. Which one do I speak from first? And then speak it in the phone, in your voice memo. Speak it to a friend who'll be honest with you. But you're not speaking it to critique it, you're speaking it out loud to release it, to get used to hearing your voice speaking what's in the very core of messages from the overflow of God. You're getting used to your voice saying it. And if you know if podcasting is part of your calling, but you felt overwhelmed by the tech, by what do I share, start with my free webinar. Yeah, I'm going to give you a lot of, I'm going to even give you an example of the tools we use in this free webinar. You can find it at stucknomorevoices.ai. It'll be in the show notes. But it the stuck no more voices podcast academy does open in January. I'm giving myself some time to heal from all the cancer and everything I've gone through. So at the time of this listening, it's about two months away. But you can still go to the webinar because this is more than a podcast course. You can see, and I'll give you an example in the webinar, arming you with kingdom tools, including AI. So you might not even use them for a podcast, but when you learn them, you can use them for writing emails, for doing a weight loss problem or weight lifting. These tools are multipliers. You can do it for organizing your voice. I do that all the time. But it's not just a course. The Stucknomore Voices Podcast Academy is a movement of Kingdom Women who are learning to speak from the overflow. So I made it through. No technical problems. Thank you for taking the time to join me today. You know, if this stirred something in you, real deep, like real deep, send it to a friend maybe who's been hiding her voice. Write a review so this can get out to more voices, more women. And don't forget, come back for part three from obedience to influence, what happens when you say yes? That's coming up. Until then, please stay faithful, stay bold, speak the truth with love, and find yourself not striving, but abiding. I'll talk to you in the next episode of this Tech No More Voices podcast.
