This is a podcast meant to bring about meaningful conversations on fly fishing, creativity, business, and everything in between. The goal of this podcast is to highlight the importance of how creativity and outdoor recreation can lead to a better life. In some episodes, we will strictly talk about fly fishing-related topics but we want to dive deeper than that. We want to better understand why people do what they do and bring about tangible information that our audience can take and apply to their next adventure. I don't claim to be a professional in any of the fields above, but I hope to learn as we go and learn from the guests that we bring onto the show. An honest conversation with my Mom
Today is a special episode featuring none other than my Mom. My mom was the first one to introduce me to fly fishing and she’s been my number 1 supporter of Wild Fly since Day 1. Just last year, she left her job to come work for me full time to handle our merch fulfillment operations. So anytime one of you orders a piece of gear from us, she is the one handling it. In this episode, we talk about what it’s been like for her to step into this position, especially with me living in Utah now. We also dive into our family lineage in fly fishing, her upbringing in the outdoors and what the early days of Wild Fly looked like. I have always wanted to have a conversation like this with her and I’m excited to share it with all of you.
